History

Established in 1961.

This location has proudly served the Evergreen Park, IL and surrounding neighborhoods for over 30 years. This location was recently remodeled in the summer of 2012 and bosts a streamline and comtemporary look. We look forward to continuing to serve the optical needs our neighbors for many years to come.

I will start by saying I won a couple free pairs of glasses not from Pearl. So i really needed a updated eye exam. I called a few places and Pearl in Evergreen Park was close to where I live and the best price of the 5 places I called. They were able to give me a exam within the hour that I called. The staff was helpful and did not preasure me into buying from them. The Doctor: John Szczepaniak changed my previous Prescription and it improved my vision drastically.

Just left there and never going back. After waiting 25 minutes I asked how much longer and they said just a little. Then, came up to me to tell me the doctor was running late and asked if I could reschedule.

I was very impressed with the service and care my father received. Dr. J took the time to explain everything to my father, about his eyes, glasses, etc. The service in the front of the store was excellent as well. I am alway impressed with places that treat senior citizens with dignity, and don’t rush them along.

Very nice doctor and staff. We were taken for the appointment on time and weren’t pressured into buying contacts while we waited to see if they were comfortable using the trial pair. My only complaint is the one male sales associate. He openly talks badly about other customers if he feels they are annoying or needy. I didn’t feel very comfortable with him complaining about an older gentleman that was waiting while he was sitting right there. I’d hate to hear what he said about us after we left!

Do Not go to this Pearle! Pick one that will honor a refund without charging a re-​stocking fee. They kept over $ 70.00 of my money but if I would have went to the one in Ford City I would have not had to pay a fee to return it. It is a deceptive practice of not posting the return fee. It is written on your receipt AFTER the purchase. And somehow my previous posting was deleted from here. It must have been from the manager, Lee.
Look, an entire website dedicated to consumers that are unhappy with Pearle.
