Don’t be misled by the one person that gave this company a 1-​star rating. That person didn’t have any work done by the company, and is only complaining that the company didn’t come back with a quote in a couple of days. Everyone else that HAD work done by this company gave them 5-​stars (myself included). In the 10 years I have lived in Hawaii, there are very few companies (less than 5) that I have been satisfied with their work. I reserve the 5-​star rating for only the best of the best, and this company is quite deserving of that ranking. Everyone wants to get the best deal AND the best service. Well, with this company, you get both. But besides feeling like I got a great deal for the work done, they are also very responsive. If you have a problem or concern, they are on it. Don’t be surprised if you find out they are booked up for weeks. Companies that do great work AND off great value are going to be busy (duh!), but if you are in a dire situation, don’t be surprised to find out this company will jump through hoops (to include working on a weekend) to help you out. I can’t say enough good things about them. If you need a new roof, give them a call. Not only will their work exceed you expectations, you will find yourself compelled (as I did) to let others know by giving the highest ranking possible!

Ronnie came to do an inspection on a house my wife and I were in escrow on. He knew we only had a couple days left in our inspection period, but he was slacking on getting us a quote. When he finally got a quote to our realtor, it was the wrong one!!!
We ended up having to put in a ballpark figure to get credit from the seller which we ended up underestimating that after finally getting the corrected quote.
Tried reaching out to Ronnie for and updated quote on the more immediately needed repairs and he didn’t even bother to respond back. Seems like he only cares about bigger, full reroofing jobs.
Look elsewhere if you want a roofer whose reliable, organized, and timely in their responses.

I needed 11 Monier Tiles Replaced and was reffered from Hawaii Energy Connection. Roni Yurong contacted me right away and came to look at my roof to verify the color as he would need to match what my current tiles are. He was able to find the exact color to make sure the new tiles match. Being that I am a busy person, which I did not even have to be home while Roni did the work, which I really liked. He was very reassuring as I am a person to worry a lot. I am very positive to whoever hires Roni, will be happy with the results. I manage projects that I sell for my full time job and I couldn’t see it being any easier for a customer who is busy and needs someone they can trust even when they are not home. Kudos for excellent service and quality work!
