Worst Walgreens ever. Un competent staff, attitude problems and the store was so messy! Went to this location Christmas Day to do some last minute Christmas pick ups before going to a family party and my boyfriend and I wanted to split our transaction in half. Well guess what they didn’t know how to do it. The worst part is they swiped my card and my boyfriends card more than 3 times and personally I’m not okay with that. The manager said that they can’t split transactions in half yet we’ve split transactions at every other Walgreens we’ve been too!!! As the manager «tried» to help us the cashier in the back just made remarks under her breath. Give me a break, they obviously don’t care about there customer service. Thank the lord this isn’t the Walgreens I go to frequently. I’ll probably never go back there.

Greeting most of the time you enter! Fast and friendly service and very ample parking! The inside is really nice and clean! Just wished they carried their own brand delicious ice cream like they do in Cali.

It’s a great store, but they seem to make their own rules especially RX dept. as the other other Walgreens they all have their own set of rules one store might say yes another might say no, other than judging people the store in general is clean organized, but don’t expect anyone to walk up to you and ask you if you need help… that would never happen.

Nothing bad to say about this location. Pros are that it’s close to home, open 24 hours, and a pharmacy on premises. Basically whenever we are in need for a late night snack, or office supplies we come here. It is always kept clean, and the customer service is always on point. Parking is never a problem, and is always well stocked with seasonal items. Since Christmas is approaching, they have their decorations and nic-​nacks available for purchase. I always think of a miniature Wal-​Mart whenever we come here.

Horrible! If you plan on getting a prescription Filled at 0600 when it’s suppose to be open forget it!!! We waited till 0625 for any one to even show
Up. Then come to find out they don’t except. Tricare.

I love this Walgreens! I’m always greeted no matter what time I go in. The pharmacy girls are so helpful. I always find what I’m looking for. Everything is well stocked and organized. I go here if I need something rather than driving all the way to walmart.

Except for once…
I was buying a fat burner. (Not for me) but the lady started asking me why I was buying it and that I was too skinny for that. Um. Can you just ring up my purchase? That was extremely rude.
But that was the only incident.
Oh! And apparently not all cashier’s can ring up alcohol. Might be a state law but I’ve never come across that before until in there.

Love going here late night for fast shopping needs. Always has a friendly staff and when it’s not busy we have personal conversations to lighten up the mood for the workers. I mean late night graveyard shifts are a bummer so that’s when I come in to shop a little and talk to them while cracking jokes. Anyways customer service is awesome and very clean store at night lol.

I like going to Walgreens because of what they sell… but the night shift workers needs to take some customer service class!!!

Clean. Organized. Friendly staff. Drive thru pharmacy. Open 24 hours. Nice location. Plenty of parking. Particular mention to a young female who works in the pharmacy department, who unfortunately i forgot her name. She worked tonight, Friday, and she is extremely helpful and friendly.

Finding and going into this new location for Walgreens Drugstore was part of our eye-​opening experience at Laulani Village Shopping Center. It’s a neighborhood drugstore that features ²⁴⁄₇ service.
The employees are friendly and helpful. They are willing to help show you to the section or aisle that has what you’re looking for. The store itself is sort of warehouse-​like with shelves that are well-​stocked, nicely organized and prices are clearly posted. The inventory ranges from everyday essentials, snacks, grocery items, beverages, toys, over-​the-​counter and prescription medications, greeting cards and even local-​style garments. Of course, there’s more but I didn’t want to look like I was casing the store although I was just browsing.
Overall, this was a clean and bright neighborhood drugstore that you could go into and feel comfortable that you’d be assisted by really nice people.

When Walgreens first arrived in the Islands I vowed to boycott them because I saw them as a major competitor to Longs. No one was going to drive our beloved Kama’aina business. And then Longs was eventually taken over by CVS… anyway.
What I love most about this Walgreens is its location and convenience. It’s in the Laulani Shopping Center, which means lots of parking. Not like that icky Ewa Town Center. It’s open 24 hours, so this is a huge help, especially when you’ve got sick children. I’ll admit that I don’t pay too much attention to items outside the pharmacy, but every now and then I’ll notice some great deals, especially snacks, and seasonal gifts.
I get the feeling that not too many people utilize the pharmacy here, because each time I visit, there is never any line. What’s wonderful is that we have the drive-​thru option, so there’s no need to get out of your car if they’ve got you up and running in the system.
The pharmacy and non-​pharmacy staff are always happy and ready to help. Thank you Walgreens for making sure I never have to step foot in Ewa Beach Longs anymore!

One of the smaller Walgreen’s I’ve been to, but I like that they have an icee machine!
I like that the store, including the pharmacy, is open 24/​7, 365 days a year. Even including the major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, they’re open!
Lots of parking as well. — stars, because they only have one poor pharmacist working today and no pharmacy tech. This basically means this pharmacist needs to attend to and ring up all the customers in line AND fill prescriptions, so the wait is obviously super long. I feel sorry for her! They quoted me 45 minutes. I thought, I’ll wait, 45 minutes isn’t TOO bad. An hour and fifteen + minutes later, I had to leave for a dinner so I asked if it was done. Nope. Not done. I would have just left when I dropped off the script if they had been up front and told me it would take more than an hour. =\. I had to come back the next day, but I did use the drive through pharmacy the day after since I was just picking up, and I thought it was really cool!

This is by far the nicest Walgreens on island. New set up. Employees and pharmacist both had that aloha spirit. It had a wide selection from holiday toys to regular pharmacy items. The perfume sets are crazy cheap. Stop in for you holiday gifts. This is now my go to Walgreens and it’s definitely not the closest one to me.

Please keep in mind that this is a very small Walgreens with a limited selection of items to choose from. However, I would like to thank Joy for helping me the other day! I was having a bit of trouble signing up for a membership with Walgreens because the previous owner of my phone line had their account on there and she helped me set up a whole new account. She was patient throughout the process and I am grateful that I can now collect points towards Walgreens.

I usually come here with my wife. You can really catch a great deal here… sometimes. You have to be on the lookout and have a card (which is free). Prices change weekly and I believe liquor prices (specials) change monthly. Its Walgreens, its 24 hours, it has pretty much everything you need from TV dinners to Prozac. Just be on the lookout for their sales. They have some pretty good ones at times.

I don’t frequent here all that often but my experience is always a pleasant one when I come around :)
I love how they have savings books in the beginning of the store. I freakin’ love coupons so when they have those badboys out, I grab at em!
I really like looking through their vitamin and makeup aisles. So much goodies!

The Ewa Walgreens has got to be the nicest one on the island. I was at the Liliha Walgreens in town last night and not impressed as they lied to me. They said they had the telescoping back scratchers «at the end of aisle ten». Fake out.
The night before that I was at the Wahiawa Walgreens, looking for the same item. No luck, but at least they didn’t confabulate (is that a word). Of course, it was very spooky to drive to Wahiawa town at night searching for telescoping back scratchers. If you know anything about Wahiawa town, its downright scary and I am not talking about the roads or the lack of lighting.
The quest for a great back scratcher is a quest that cannot be set aside, especially if it involves having a telescoping back scratcher you can put in your purse when you travel or take to work with you; that simply cannot be ignored.
Ewa Walgreens is new, but that’s not what impressed me. It was the sheer amount of STUFF in there that I actually liked — rubber slippers with flower and skull print, loads of makeup including different brands of eyelash glue, As Seen On Tv items including a giant vegetable shaver that you insert your carrot into and make spaghetti strings with, Caboodles brand makeup train cases, Monster High dolls for $ 15 (swim and dead tired series… can you believe it???) and yes, the absolutely fabulous telescoping back scratchers. I was in love. I bought a bunch.
Sure they are more expensive than Wal-​mart or Target but they are open 24 hours. I can’t see any reason that they shouldn’t charge more. If you want the convenience then you gotta pay. I can see the scenario already — raiding the local Walgreens during Christmas at 3 AM for that last minute Monster High Abby Bominable doll for your kid and a telescoping back scratcher for your mother-in-law…can’t get more convenient than that… but only at this location. Ignore the others and come the one in Ewa… its the best Walgreens on the island.

First off, this IS a PHARMACY slash drugstore. When I“m feeling sick and need prescription meds or you have to deal with chronic medical issues that need stronger than OTC meds — a pharmacist and your prescribing physician become your bestest, good friend (I’m hoping you’re not thinking that I’m an addict of some sort).
So, when you’re feeling ill and cannot drag yourself out of bed to save your life — drugs become your saving grace. The very, very, VERY last thing I want to do when I’m feeling that bad is to get dressed out of my jammies into something presentable to go INTO a store to pick up a script. That’s where my love for this particular WALGREENS come into play. When you’re THAT sick and don’t want to change out of your jammies, you can pick your meds up at their convenient, OPEN 365 days, 24 hours 7 days a week DRIVE THRU.
Yes, there have been several times when I have left my house and gotten in my car with my PJs on with some dark, unassuming CYCLOPS type sunglasses to this Walgreen’s DRIVE THRU pharmacy. I know I can’t be the only one in the world that does this but when no one else can get your meds and you’re on the verge of death or dying from pain — you do what you have to do. I love the semi-​privacy and comfort of being in my car and not being in the company of strangers when I’m ill. I just make sure that my meds are ready for pick up and I verify that they have verified insurance and copays and such. Nothing worse than having to wait unnecessarily for something that could be avoided. Yes, I dot my i’s and cross my T’s even when I’m sick.
What I love just as much as the drive thru service is that the pharmacist (s) will call and tell you when your prescriptions are ready. I had a previous situation at this pharmacy months ago where they took the time to make all the calls and arrangements to make sure that I got my meds on time. I was so impressed, I wrote (hand wrote — snail mailed the manager on duty a thank you letter acknowledging the pharmacy staff for my smooth transition into their system. So and you can see, from my experiences here, I’ve gotten nothing less than a 5 –star service.
Also, if they happen not to have your meds in stock /​in store — they usually will get that product for you and call you back when it is available (usually within a day).
And btw… it’s a great thing too having a PHARMACY stocked with beauty and food products. And also… it’s a brand spanking new and CLEAN store. Great addition to growing Ewa plain community. Yes… I’m a huge fan of this particular location.

Lots of parking regardless time of day, and all the items I NEED/​WANT are IN STOCK.
How RARE is that for my items to be in stock?! the sad part, the price. Luckily, I applied for the walgreens card just so i can pay that $ 2 less for whatever nail polish, or makeup I buy.
They have NYX brand here too! which is awesome.
The customer service is really friendly too, and I really appreciated it!

Always been a fan of Walgreens and was so pleased to see the new building being erected. I didn’t know it had opened until I was visiting Safeway one day. I stopped in tonight looking for my ever evasive Boston Baked Beans and… alas! They had some! Albeit a small bag but beggars can’t be choosers!
Okay okay… so the store is brand spanking new so it is spotless! The employees seemed very friendly — the ones I encountered, anyway, at checkout. They (doing their job) recommended the Balance Rewards card which I happily signed up for (and received $ 2 off!).
The selection is quite varied, and pleasingly so. From candy to liquor to toiletries and the like. Walgreens truly is a one-​stop-​shop. I plan on frequenting this location very often. Especially since it’s 24-​hours and so close! I will add pictures soon.
