Unresponsive customer service. My impression is that because their membership guidelines are so relaxed, they have far too many members and not enough staff to properly service them. A victim of their own success. Avoid at all cost if you want to save yourself immense frustration.

Bank Teller Ashley is the worst and the most slowest. I will be making a complaint on her.

The worst customer service hands down. All I want is my money back that they charged me for which is bullshit. It’s called inactive account. I closed my account because of their BS fee’s and rude nasty customer service. Well true to form after over a year they claim to never got my letter to close the account which I fax over at least 5’x. So my last fax was fax directly toward «Mr. Henry» who I spoke to stated he got the fax and would be sending me the money on ⁶⁄₃₀ as of today ⁸⁄₂₀ no money and they claimed they never got the faxed. BS so I’m going have to take time and drive all the way to Ewing just note your note your not going to be happy I have to do that.

Online banking did not work. Technical difficulties every time on their end as a result I could not add funds to my account (I work so it is difficult to make an in person visit). unbeknownst to me i was getting a negative balance and eventually my account was closed. When I emailed the members email to inquire on the status of my account i received no answer multiple times. I finally got a hold of someone on line and they provided no help just explained that would happen as long as I had an under $ 1000.00 balance. No help.

I applied for a used car loan application on Monday, here it is Friday and it’s still «under review» I’m not sure if it’s whether I applied as non-​member for the extreme delay, but as I read other reviews it does not matter whether you’re a member or not. Horrible customer service. Incompetent Call Center. Extremely slow loan department. Will never consider or recommend anyone to this Credit Union.

The worst! Can’t even believe how bad! Can’t access my own money due to bad card. Stopped having money automatically withdrawn, will soon be closing account. My payroll dept told me many are doing the same. Don’t get involved!!!

After four years as a CUNJ member, I’m starting to look elsewhere. The drive-​thru ATM at the Ewing branch is out-​of-​service more than it is in-​service. The daily expenditure limits on debit cards are way antiquated. Their website is a mess and full of pop-​up ads. The mortgage department sends you off to a different credit union altogether, and they were absolutely terrible to work with. Too bad, I dig credit unions.

I opened an account in Nov. 2011 to get pre-​approved for a car loan. I had always wanted to try a credit union. This one is bad — wish I could give minus stars. When opening the account I was told I had to keep a $ 100 balance to avoid charges. I did that. I never used their car loan because the dealer offered me a better interest rate.
So I didn’t always open my statements since I didn’t put money in or out of the account. I finally open one statement and find out they are charging me $ 5 a month. When I asked about it they told me because I didn’t have a $ 500 balance. I told them what I was told when opening the account and they said they notified me in January. So… my $ 100 turned into $ 75 and I took it out. Yes, my bad for not opening the statement, but they could have sent email alerting me. Very disappointed! Will NEVER join a credit union again. They are sneaky — just like the credit card companies. I thought they would be more above board than to sneak charges in.

i have been with cunj for over seven years and i’m not happy. i thought credit unions were suppose to help you finanical. cunj has done nothing for me i have applied for a loan to refinance my car at least twice a year for the last 3 years and have been denied every time. i’m currently looking to go to hefcu or philadelphia credit union. i have been with bank of america i have gotten more from them in three months then i have gotten with the credit union in seven years can some one help me find a credit union that helps people with good and bad credit
