This place is superb. We ordered custom cupcakes for our sons’ dual birthday party and they were PERFECT. And not only were they delicious, but the owner knew exactly what we were looking for and was extremely nice to work with. Marbled cupcakes with homemade buttercream frosting — YUM.

The best cakes and, pastries in Mercer County. The Strawberry Shortcake is 5 Diamond DELICIOUSNESS!!! The owner worked at Marrazzo’s and, I heard she worked for the previous owners. She’s very talented and, any time you go there the entire family is working with her.
She makes her own whipped cream and, uses fresh fruit fillings and, garnishes. Her cakes are light and, full of flavor especially the vanilla cakes.

I used to go to this little hole-​in-​the-​wall to get my sugar fix when it was Cairo Bakery. Now it’s Ewing Bakery and it’s every bit as good as it was back then, and then some. If you need a birthday cake, or a pie, pastries, or cookies, don’t even think about getting them someplace else — the cakes are tasty works of art and the pies are fresh and the cookies are delicious. A real find!

Ordered a birthday cake from Ewing Cakes & Pastries: it was beautifully decorated and very delicious. The attention to detail in the decorations was awesome. The cake was filled with fresh fruit and the whip cream frosting was light and scrumptious. Ewing Cakes & Pastries will be the go to bakery for birthday cakes in the future

This establishment changed it’s name to Ewing Cakes & Pastries. I was concerned that the quality of the cakes would go down but was pleasantly surprised that they remained the same. The cakes are light and moist and not sickeningly sweet. The baker that bought the store is the same baker that used to work at the older establishment. I’ve had beautiful cakes done by them for every occasion such as Birthday and anniversary parties. You can even buy cakes by the slice. I’m not even a big fan of cakes and LOVE their cakes. Oh by the way they recently changed their number too: 609−583−4222
