FD Subs

Great food! Freshly sliced meats and cheeses make for yummy hoagies.
Only complaint I’ve had is that they wanted me to return food when they gave me the wrong side order. Don’t know what they were going to do with it but I already tossed it by the time I had to go back to get the correct side order
Like I said, great food!

They skim out on the meat. I ordered a whole Roast beef, turkey and cheese sandwich and there was probably two slices of roast beef in the whole sub. That said they load up on onions as seen below. Not worth it!

The best around. freshly sliced meats and best cheese steaks anywhere. I have been going here for years and the quality is still very good

Delivery orders beware!!! After I stressed to the lady not to forget, and what do they do.?? They forget! How hard is it to remember napkins, ketchup and cups. Unbelievable.

I haven’t been here in a while since I no longer work in the area. And upon walking in, I frankly wasn’t expecting too much.
I have to give credit to the kid at the deli slicer. I ordered an Italian sub with everything on it. He not only utilized a deft hand with the application of seasonings; he looked like he was preparing the sandwich as if it were his… with care.
Kudos to him and FD for still kicking out a quality sub. Probably the best in the area.

This place changed owners about 2 or 3 yrs ago. My boo loves hoagies so we are pretty much well versed in hoagie places. This used to be a go to place for us. We would even sit down and eat. This was our 1^st time visiting in about 2 yrs because we decided to give it a second chance. Remember this USED TO BE a great hoagie place. The last time we tried it out good just did not sit well on our stomachs.
The bread gets a special mention because that’s what makes or breaks a hoagie for me and their bread just didn’t live up to my standards.
This time my boo had the Roasted Turkey and Provolone with everything on it. I had a mayo, lettuce, tomatoe and onion (veggie). Boy oh boy, this was not good at all. I ate my entire veggie sandwich and I felt fine but was not really satisfied with my sandwich taste wise and it was so basic.
But my boo, only finished half the hoagie because it just did not taste good and felt sick in the hours after.
I don’t know, I want to love this place but sadly I think that’s the last time we will try it.

Finally made it to FD Subs. I left very happy. They have a huge menu with a great variety of cold subs, hot subs, cheesesteaks and fries. Definitely pickup a menu when you’re there because you’re bound to miss something staring at the endless choices on the menu board. I wish they had an online presence I couldn’t find a menu or specials list online (there was no website/​facebook, etc listed on menu). Great portions, good prices, fries were good. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

My first time ordering hoagies for a small Bd party and they were DELISH. Just would have liked someone suggesting a small platter instead of individual hoagies.

Really good steak sandwich. Clean place. Fair prices. Downgrading only because of the counter girls lousy customer service. She couldn’t have been any less interested in taking and delivering my order. I guess $ 7.50/hr doesn’t buy anything better. But, if you want some good food, try it.

Don’t let the rinky dink outside (or inside) throw you off… there is a splendor of subs (or hoagies for you southerners) being created inside! Its dim lights, 90’s pizza parlor décor and chalkboard menu is the stuff Unilocal was created for! Sadly it is currently off the Unilocal radar… but here is my review to change all that.
Just try not to get overwhelmed with all the scrumptious options on their menu. After being open for over 20 years, this spot KNOWS what you like, baby.
My coworkers got a variety of their subs which were all made fresh in front of us with generous heaping piles of meat and veggies. I got an Italian cheesesteak which had roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, onions and spinach on a freshly baked roll. I got the half thinking, I would watch my portions and let’s just say… they don’t give a $#!T about your calorie counting.
The prices are very reasonable and I am excited to try some of their other options. I hear their turkey burgers are the bomb. I can’t wait to come back!

Fast, fresh, and delicious — this place is great. I highly recommend the Junk Monkey veggie wrap. Their hot stuff is great too. Give this place a try, you’ll probably go back.

All I can is WOW. After Cugino’s in Pennington the best Italian sub there is. I can’t wait to get hungry again!

My favorite sub shop. Big subs at a good price. And the best part is they cut the lunch meat to order every time.

As far as authentic style subs, you can’t beat FD. I have been a fan of this place for years. Oddly, they’ve changed owners probably 3 or more times over the last decade or so and yet still do a fantastic job of making subs.
The atmosphere is fast-​foody, nothing special. Although I think I’ve eaten in maybe 3 times in the 4 or 5 dozen times I’ve been there. The menu is huge for a sandwich place. I can’t speak to the hot meals or sides as I’ve never had any. But these guys make subs like no one else around.
Each sub is made with freshly sliced meats and cheeses. No pre-​cut meat sitting out all day. They make them fresh like the old days and that makes these guys one of a kind. I’ve found very, very few places around that do it that way. The options are great, the breads, meats and cheeses are fresh. This is how a sub is supposed to be.
If you’ve only ever had a sub from Subway or Quiznos, PLEASE try FD for the real thing!

This past was INCREDIBLE! Red a positive Unilocal review and decided to try FD subs. They sliced the meat directly on ur sub. The staff was great, and the girl taking out order was adorable.

I eat a lot and appreciate the amount of good quality meat on the subs. My GF likes the salad selection (Grilled Shrimp especially)
The daily specials keep things changing on a regular basis and I vow to eat enough to get one named after me.
The owner introduced himself and the service as a whole was great.
I’d recommend FD Subs to anyone who asks
