With a lifetime of equestrian and animal experience, owner Holly Ford and Family bring more than just expertise and knowledge to their petting zoo & hand guided pony ride business. In combination with their passion for horses and animals and with their love for children, Ford Farms truly wants every pony party to be a huge success. Ford Farms is dedicated to their business and enjoys seeing the joy on the children’s faces as they get to ride her gentle and well-​cared-​for ponies. Holly sees to every detail of the pony parties personally. Her ponies are extremely well taken care of, well-​groomed, well-​behaved and know their jobs. Ford Farms professional and friendly staff is on hand to hand-​guide the ponies, assist the children, and supervises the pony party from start to finish, ensuring your child’s safety at all times. Ford Farms was a truly fun experience and addition to my friend’s wedding. The family that brought the animals are truly hard workers and dedicated to offering full services to their clients. On a specific note, they drove seven hours just to provide their services at my friend’s wedding for only an hour. True dedication to their clients and to the animals that make up their farm.
It is clear that they love what they do and love introducing their animals to any of their clients.

Ford Farms was at the wedding celebration that I attended this past weekend. All of the animals that they brought out looked very healthy and well-​taken care of. Holly & her staff (I think it’s her husband and son!) were on hand to answer all of our questions and extremely engaging with everyone, providing us names of all of the animals and their information. This is a very family-​friendly business, and they will for sure be a great addition to your next event!

Ford Farms was an amazingly family-​oriented experience that helped to add to the celebration of my friend’s wedding! This was a great idea that changed up the normal routine of usual/​traditional weddings. I would recommend them for any family-​oriented event! The pigs, chickens, and goats were my favorites, especially the pot bellied pig. It really brought the crowd together and capitalized on the wedding’s outdoor atmosphere. An awesome and creative addition to a wedding celebration! Fine holiday fun!

Ford Farms did a fantastic job at my friend’s wedding over the weekend! Especially considering they drove almost 7 hours, just to set up the petting zoo at the venue for a little over one hour. They showed up on time and brought bunnies, turtles, a pig, donkeys, goats, and chickens. All the animals looked very well taken care of, and were a huge hit with the wedding guests. Fantastic idea if you have little ones, although all the grown ups had way too much fun with the animals. Would highly recommend!

Look no further. Ford Farms is the MUST HAVE at your future wedding/​party/​event! I hired Form Farms for my wedding this past weekend and it was by far the best purchase of the entire celebration. 15 animals including miniature ponies, turtles, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, and even a pot belly pig!
Holly was responsive, accommodating, and professional. The event was all the way in the Bay Area and they made the trip without any problem! They arrived on time and provided so much education to all of the guests!

Ford Farms was a WONDERFUL addition to my friend’s wedding – to think of a petting zoo at a wedding seemed so unconventional but BOY was it worth it! (It was an outdoors afternoon wedding, no biggie!)
The animals were adorable. The more and more they kept putting out, the more surprised I was because there were so many! I haven’t been to a zoo since I was a kid and the feeling these animals brought back was AMAZING. The animals are well-​behaved and well taken care of and the family itself was so professional, friendly and accommodating. They were willing to travel 3.5 hours away to a wedding in the East Bay Area and were so generous with their time.
I’d definitely recommend their service to accompany your next party – kids, children’s, birthday, wedding or themed. What more could you ask for?
And, their son was adorable as he was riding on top of one of the horses, brushing their backs and even told us their names. Great people!

Ford Farms came out to Orinda for a wedding event that I attended and they did an excellent job. Its a family run business that was on time, professional and very friendly. The animals were clean, super tame and clearly well taken care of. A+ for the education and entertainment they provided for both the kids and adults.
