History

Established in 1974.

«An old time hippie shop, run by two old hippies» That how many describe Magikal Garden, started in the summer of 1974. Since then, thru the years we have grown, mainly by catering to our customers. As long as they were 18 years old they could come to the garden.

If they wanted something odd, we’d order it. That’s how we got our start, and that continues till today. Whatever the most recent fads, we will try to get what the customers want. As long it the product is legal and pass all legality questions, we will look into the idea of carrying the line. Sometimes it is something that just wouldn’t «click» with Magikal Garden.

It has worked thru 40 years, why change it now. We value our customers, and many have grown up with the garden as a regular stop for their incense and magazines. In July 2014 we started our 41^st year in business.

Meet the Business Owner

Sharleen P.

Business Owner

Sharleen is one of the two owners of Magikal Garden, and self-​admittedly the hardest worker. Whether doing the ordering, or doing the books, she’s busy 6 days a week. Having raised 2 sons, who now live out of state, she spends most of her time at the Garden. Her and husband Al started it all, and will continue to do so, since she could never work for someone else, it just wouldn’t work.

She does have the help of a great manager Melissa, who keep things running smoothly and the shelves filled.
