Horrible. If I could give zero stars I would. I just stopped here to get a sandwich and a bottle of water before getting on the turnpike. I was charged $ 19.58 for a sandwich, a side of pasta salad and a bottle of water to go. Still can’t figure out how my $ 8.99 sandwich came out to almost $ 20, other than she did charge me for a larger size pasta salad(but still only gave me the side portion). I asked for napkins and was told they were in the bottom of the bag… no napkins. Also no fork to eat the pasta salad. Beyond this, the place is filthy! There’s trash piled up on the floor under the grill where they are preparing the food. Piled! The toilet paper is sitting on the back of the toilets instead of in the holders. The toilets look like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks, but no surprise. To beat all the sandwich is not good and completely boring. Terrible experience. Will never ever go here again!

I’ve given this place several chances. The order is continuously wrong and the sandwiches are just not good. Bread is stale.

I used to come here all the time with my friend for lunch. Then I got food poisoning. I remember it vividly. Got the roast beef on a pretzel roll. Was in the bathroom for 48 hours. I called to tell them about the episode and the then-manager refused to take responsibility. No apology, no refund, nothing. The thing is, we all make mistakes. That’s a fact of life. Maybe the meat was old, who knows. What matters is how your organization handles it. And this restaurant clearly dropped the ball. It astounds me how many WRETCHEDLY mediocre restaurants just like this one dot the American landscape. You’re better off going to a chain restaurant. Or maybe not eating at all.

First time there… too pricey for what you get! and the GF option for bread is pathetic– it falls apart, won’t be visiting in the future. :(

This experience was very disappointing. I normally love to eat at Isaac’s or do take from them. Unfortunately in this experience, Isaac’s blew it this time. My daughter did a phone order which was waiting for us when we got there. This was good. I decided to order a desert, my favorite, the salted caramel cake. The cashier was unpleasant and when she finally got the desert together, it was thrown in the plastic clam with neither whipped cream nor salted caramel sauce. Additionally, it was literally thrown into the clam and the cake was falling apart. This was the first time I have ever experienced a situation like this at Isaac’s. I hope they start to train their people better in the future. I will still go to Isaac’s but I hope I do not have this experience again.

A few weeks ago I ordered online from Isaacs online pink-up option. I love their sandwiches and ordered my personal favorite the Phoenix, and substituted a pretzel roll over the Kaiser roll that comes with the Phoenix sandwich. This was my boyfriends first time having Issacs and he ordered the twisted chicken sandwich(he said it was delicious, by the way). When my boyfriend got home with the bag of Isaacs I began rummaging through it only to be letdown by finding a large plastic container with all the ingredients for my sandwich but no pretzel roll, not even the kaiser roll. I checked the receipt which showed my bread substitution that showed that someone at the restaurant clearly read my food order incorrectly. I live a good 25 minutes from the nearest Isaac’s restaurant, so going in to have a new sandwich made was not an option. So the chips that come with the sandwich was to be dinner for me that night. Now you may be wondering why I still gave them five stars, this is due to the way that the Isaacs in Exton store manager Jonathan Davison handled the mistake. I called the store that night to inform them of their mistake and was transferred by the store employee to the assistant manager Jonathan. Jonathan was more than accommodating, he promised to take the sandwiches off of my bill which I’d use a debit card for and asked me for my address so that he could send me some coupons for later visits to the Isaacs deli restaurant in Exton. I initially thought no way would they be sending me coupons, and that I would be lucky to even see the money be credited back to my bank account from Isaac’s. Sure enough, last week I saw the money had been credited back to my account and received a letter from Jonathan Davidson Assistant Manager and a written note of sincere apology for the online order mistake and two coupons for free sandwiches as well as two coupons for two free desserts. Now that to me is great customer service! Mr. Davidson went above and beyond in making sure that I had a good experience with Isaac’s deli after their mistake. I will continue to go to Isaac’s deli in Exton at least once a month for their fantastic sandwiches.

Isaac’s Deli is a chain that serves up great unique sandwich choices with fresh deli selections and sides. We ate here tonight for dinner. I got the usual Magpie Sandwich which is grilled chicken and pesto sauce on a tortilla with fresh grilled spinach and bacon(yum!). Everything that I’ve ever ordered here has always been good(especially the red potato salad and the tomato soup). If you sign up for their fan club you get periodic BOGO sandwich coupons. Great deal! Try this place out for a quick meal. There are many unique menu choices that are fresh and well prepared. I will continue to frequent this place.

I ordered the Finch sandwich for lunch to-go. Turkey, munster cheese, mayo on rye, all grilled. It comes with chips, and I do like their chip choices. It’s not the usual stuff you’ll find. I went for the tri-color bag that has sweet potato in it. That was new to me. Pretty good. The sandwich itself was a little dry, could’ve used more mayo but still good. The only thing is that a sandwich and chip combo + a drink was $ 9. That’s pretty pricey for a small meal.

It pains me to only give them two stars, but here’s why: — I absolutely love their sandwiches, have never been disappointed on that factor, however, they are extremely over-priced(in my opinion.) Just as bad as Panera. But I understand that complaining about a restaurant’s prices on Unilocal will change nothing. — Whenever I meet a co-worker or friend here for lunch, I always get lax service. Always. Maybe they just don’t like my shirt? I don’t know. It’s never even that busy when I go in, and even still, it happens every time. The server either takes way too long to greet us and/or bring us our drinks/take orders. I just see no excuse for that. If you’re in the weeds and see that you have a new table, stop by and say«I’ll be right with you.» Not that difficult. Regardless, I have an hour for lunch and would like to be able to sit at a restaurant without having to scarf down my food because the servers are incapable of multi-tasking. It’s a good thing they don’t work in a bar restaurant. But, their sandwiches are worth trying. However, I will only be ordering take-out though from now on, if that. Sorry, guys. Step up your game and maybe I’ll be more willing to pay extra for a great sandwich.

This place is located directly across the parking lot from my hotel so I figured I give it a try, They have online ordering which was perfect! The Pepperjack Tomato soup was AWESOME! The sandwich I ordered was called the Finch. It was a turkey with cheese on pumpernickel… basic but very tasty. I ordered my sandwich asking that no mayo be added, ranch on the side, and applesauce instead of chips. I figured for at least one screw up but my order was 100% correct!!! Simple food with good quality and a staff who can follow directions(like hold the mayo, ranch on the side).

My coworkers love it, but I don’t love it. It’s a Meh for me. Just like all fast food joint. The pictures looks great and large, but actual product is nothing like it.

Great food at a good price from a place that cares about its staff. Never had a bad anything from Isaac’s. Try the pretzel bread sandwiches. The sides are all home made and fresh. Love it!

I had a Magpie — grilled chicken with a pesto-ranch dressing, provolone and Parmesan cheese, crispy bacon and fresh spinach in a grilled flatbread. The bacon wasn’t so crispy but it was nonetheless delicious. Wife had a bare bones Black Heron — angus beef on a frenchbread roll. She’s pretty plain when it comes to food. Excellent as well. Service was very friendly and efficient. Well lit and comfortable. Menu is the outstanding thing here. Tons of possibilities.

We stopped in here for a late lunch on a Saturday. Our first impression was that the staff was very friendly. We were a party of 3. Two of us arrived first and let the waitress know that a third person would be joining us shortly. I must say that they were very patient and accomodating. I guess this place tries to be like a New York Jewish Deli. However, it is really a poor imitation. That said, the food isn’t bad, it’s just not anywhere near authentic. We were looking to have a light lunch but most of the entrees didn’t quite fit the bill — lots of huge sandwiches which is fine if you are very hungry. Each table is given an assortment of pickles as well as some pickled vegetables(carrots, red pepper strips). This is a nice touch. Finally, we chose our meals. I had 2 sliders. With the sliders, you have a choice of a cheesburger, crabcake or pulled chicken with a «Caribbean sauce». So, I tried one cheeseburger and one pulled chicken. Each sandwich here comes with an Utz potato chip«gourmet assortment»(mostly potato chips with some vegetable chips). My husband chose a half tuna sandwich and cup of soup. He tried the Gumbo. Our daughter got a full sandwich(can’t remember which one). My sliders were properly cooked and were put on pretzel rolls. The pulled chicken had some bite to it. With the Utz assortment, this did end up being a light lunch. My husband thought his tuna was well-prepared. However, we all tasted the gumbo and it had an overpowering fishy flavor that drowned out all the other ingredients. Our daughter did like her sandwich. Overall, a decent lunch and the cost was reasonable — about $ 30 before the tip. We were pleased with the service. If you go — be sure to not expect an authentic New York deli experience, otherwise you will be disappointed. However, if you go expecting a decent sandwich shop, you will do fine.

Great pretzel rolls keep us coming back. to Isaac’s. The red potato salad is also very good. The menu, staff and setting are kid quite friendly – big plus for a cheap family lunch or dinner.

Now I have to start by saying that I’m a fan of old school Jewish deli’s so you may want to take this review with a grain of salt. Small sandwiches on a pretzel roll with like no deli meat and a couple picklechips do not a deli make.

Isaac’s is one of my favorite places to eat lunch. They have an exhausting menu of bird-named sandwiches, including flatbreads, pretzel roll, french bread, wheat, rye, pumpernickel, white, you-name-it bread sandwiches. They give you pickles before you order, which always makes me happy(and you even get pickles in little baggies if you get takeout), and their potato chips are tasty and come with every sandwich. Oh! And their pepperjack tomato soup is awesome. Get it in a cup or in a a bread bowl. Actually the croutons that they advertised it with for awhile kind of detracted from it, so I’m glad they stopped doing it. My only suggestion is to go here on a weekend when you have lots of time. The service tends to be very slow, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. As long as I’m not rushing to get somewhere it’s no problem for me, but you might hit a snag if you go out to lunch with coworkers or need to make a tight schedule.
