This has to be the best tasting burger in el paso county! I had the burger combo, it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The butter toasted buns were soft and delicious. The crinkle cut fries complimented this tasty burger and left me satisfied wanting more lol. Thank you Mr. Popham

I guess you have to of grown up eating there to like this place. I drove quite a ways and ended up very disappointed. I ordered the guacamole, bacon burger my gf the bacon cheeseburger. Both were flavorless nothing special. The fries were not too good either. My main gripe with this place was there were flies everywhere. You couldn’t sit a couple of seconds without one landing on you or the food. Plus they either have no A/C or its not working too well. I know the place is old but at least fix the A/C and get some sort of bug zapper. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Pop’s Better Burger is a Fabens area staple. I love their quintessential American burger shop menu. They practice a friendly small town approach to service. There is nothing special about how they make their food, but the food is done right and fast. I had a serious burger craving and just happened to be in the area. How fortunate for me! There was no turning back from those images of a double cheeseburger basket with fries from my head. I was on a mission! Once I sunk my teeth into my meal, I was not disappointed. Of course I have never been disappointed with a meal that I’ve had at Pop’s. You will never leave disappointed or hungry! Classic burgers at retro prices! You will be a happy camper with every visit to Pop’s Better Burger.

My husband and I will travel from the East Side when we are craving the perfect burger! The ingredients are fresh, buns are soft, perfect patty size and the onion rings are the best! I always get a caramel sundae to top it all off! If you’re looking for a quaint little place, with great service, and delicious burgers, Pop’s is the place to go to when your itching for something different!

I was searching for Pop’s on Google as a result of feeling nostalgic. I’m from Fabens, but haven’t been back in about a decade. Regardless of my time away from what used to be my hometown, the memory of Pop’s burgers are with me as fresh as the first time I tried them as a young kid. The environment is very old fashioned. The Norman Rockwell wallpaper may still be there patched up along the walls with Coca Cola memorabilia. I’ll never forget Pop’s burgers and look forward to visiting Fabens again all the way from San Diego just to have another burger. I realize this review is very bias since I grew up in that town and frequented the place, but take that as you will. Nothing beats the smell and anticipation of a greasy brown paper bag burger topped with fresh veggies and an ice cold Coke in a Styrofoam cup.

My son had a basketball game at Fabens High School and I was in the area. I wanted a fast bite before the game and found Pops. I’m glad I did !! Small clean little restaurant with an outstanding burger. Fresh ingredients, not too greasy, good size, and a soft bun. I will be back. The only thing negative was the krinkle fries. I could do the same with store bought and my oven ay home. But fantastic burger !!

Exactly as the name suggests, this is a small town burger joint filled with coca cola memorabilia and advertisements. I got the regular cheeseburger and fries. The burger patty was thin and the bun was incredibly oily. So oily that the wrapper it came in was nearly see-through. All in all, the burger was nothing special, but solidly made and hit the spot of this weary traveler. The fries were crinkle fries that were a bit too soft and limp for my taste.

Our offroad race team was driving through from TX back to AZ when we got the hankering for an off the grid burger. Pop’s puled up on Unilocal and even though there were no reviews listed, the name intrigued us enough to leave the interstate and give it a try. I got the special and onion rings and immediately wished I was a bigger guy to just keep eating more of it. The bacon, cheese, and avocado was great and the seasoning was good enough too for the guys who ordered regular burgers. I’d recommend the special though for sure. I’d eat here all the time if I lived closer. The batter was excellent on the rings. And the girls were nice inside. From the look of it, it seemed like a nice place to dine with the family also. Thank you!
