Always liked Ray but will never step foot in this place again — used him for a brake repair to my GMC Denali and ended up taking my «fixed» vehicle back to him after smoke was POURING out from under the truck 2 days later (w my 11 year old in back seat). Completely denied any responsibility, was rude and annoyed that his repair work was being questioned!
Sad fact is he is slipping with age.

I agree with the reviewers below that Ray is incredibly trustworthy and honest. My family has been going to Leo and Ray’s for many years and will continue to do so.

I moved to Fair Lawn and my mechanic was about 40 minutes away and needed some big maintenance due on that week. Ray is just awesome. He was very good with understanding your needs and getting it right the first time.
When you first see the building, you kinda have to clinch to see if the owner might be the stereotypical guy that will do some halfa** job and charge you a lot. This was definitely not the case with Ray. He took care of all the maintenance schedule that I had on the car and did what he needed to, and left the ones that seemed like it did not need any replacement. He is not like the guys in the dealer that will change a brand new battery that was installed 2 days ago just because it said to replace it in the maintenance schedule.
His prices are very good compared to a lot of other mechanics out there. I took a chance going there with just the 2 reviews on Unilocal but thanks to them, I have met a genuine mechanic in town.

Quality work and honest people. Highly recommend Ray and his employee’s. Keep up the great work!

Searching for a trustworthy mechanic can be difficult. If you’re reading this, your search is over. I send my whole family here because I know they will be treated fairly. Ask for Ray, he’s the best!
