My husband and I are thrilled with Victor’s work for our wedding this past September. Not only was he a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding, providing us with all the information we needed to move forward with Epic Studios, but he was pleasant, attentive and fun to work with the day of. Victor scheduled a few video conferences with us leading up to the wedding, responded to our emails and questions, and made sure we understood his role the day of the wedding. Anytime he needed us for a private shooting, he made sure to clear it with us first and not take up large chunks of time between the ceremony and the reception. He also worked very well alongside our photographers, make up artists, and wedding coordinators.
We just received our wedding teaser and we couldn’t be happier with his work. The teaser captured the magic of our wedding day and has brought tears to the eyes of everyone who has watched it. We cannot wait to see the full video in the coming months.

I selected Epic Studios as my videographer for my wedding after seeing the wedding video that he created for my friends last year. I was seriously blown away with the quality, creativity, and style of the video, and I have not been disappointed. I just received the teaser for my wedding and it is amazing, I can’t wait to see the full video! Besides being an amazing videographer, Victor was incredibly easy to work with, extremely responsive, on time and professional. My husband and I hired Epic Studios for our 2014 summer wedding videography. When I first met Victor, I knew we’d have a great working relationship because he cares about his clients. I had watched a few Epic studio teasers on vimeo and I could tell Victor has a great eye.
Planning with Victor was seamless — he would make meetings with us and talk to us via email and phone. We were able to provide him with how we wanted our video to be like. Additionally, we were able to tell him our wedding timeline so that he was able to get great angles of our foxtrot first dance and our wedding flash mob.
The day of — Victor and his brother were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Also, they are not intrusive. When they are filming, you can’t tell that they are there. They aren’t in your face. They are in the background capturing real moments. They are also cinematographers… they know what moments are appropriate to capture.
Also, their turn around time is fast! We got our teaser the following week after our wedding. We also had our wedding movie 5 months after the ceremony.
The DVD — so we got three copies. I’m assuming the other 2 copies are for our parents. Our video was amazing! When my husband and I sat down to watch it, we were so impressed!
Like others have stated, this isn’t your average wedding film. Its a mini movie. Quality is crisp –HD. The music is made to where it matches up and works as a theme to your wedding. They also don’t stick straight to the timeline that occurred the day of —which can be boring. They have moments rearranged around so that the video isn’t boring and it matches up to vows and speeches.
What truly surprised me about Epic was how much they knew our tastes as a couple. We love EDM… the ceremony clips of our wedding had violin and piano music, but the reception portion had an EDM mix of Coldplay and Avicii’s «Sky Full of Stars.» I loved it because it reflected our wedding theme of «Electric Dance Wedding» and was still was romantic.
Thank you Epic Studios for this wonderful wedding video! Adrian and I are so thankful that we have this amazing video to remember our special day and if we have kids someday we can show it to them and know they won’t be bored.

We hired Victor and his crew as videographers at our wedding on 10÷25÷14 at the Firehouse in Sacramento, CA. Although we haven’t seen the full video of our wedding yet, we did receive Victor’s teaser trailer. All I can say is WOW! Everyone I have showed it to has started to cry, not just me. I have now watched it over a dozen times and each time am still blown away by the quality of his work. Each new person that watches the trailer comments «Wow, it looks like a real movie trailer!» In short — Victor’s work thus far has been beyond compare.
The other thing I would like to note was Victor’s willingness to «roll with the punches» on our wedding day. Our original plan was to have the ceremony and reception in the courtyard of the Firehouse. As luck would have it, however, it rained on our wedding day. The rain held off just long enough for us to do our first look and ceremony outside (although it did sprinkle on the ceremony), but we had to move everything else inside. The change in plans didn’t phase Victor a bit, which was reassuring given the stress a sudden change of plans like this can cause.
In short, anyone who hires Epic Studios to film their wedding will not be disappointed. In fact, I am so sure of this fact, I have already recommended him to friends who are getting married in fall 2015.

Our wedding would not have been the same without our priceless vendors, Victor and Epic are at the top of that list. These aren’t your standard «camera in your guests’ face wedding videos» — they are pieces of art; mini-​movies. I cannot recommend their work enough. We just received our teaser trailer video and it is amazing. We are waiting on pins and needles to see the whole feature and cannot wait to see what he comes up with. His attention to detail is outstanding. We didn’t even realize he was shooting most of the time. He blended right in and worked seamlessly with our photographer. She’s even said that she plans on hiring him for her wedding, when that time comes. Not only did Epic capture our day, but the emotions that went along with it.

It turned out amazing, Victor has some outstanding editing skills. So happy that I ended up doing this and was so lucky to have found Victor. We absolutely love our wedding movie and highlight video! I cried the first time I watched our movie. It was beautifully edited and just perfect! From the very beginning of wedding planning I knew I wanted a videographer. My husband was less on board until he started watching videos on Victor’s page. He quickly realized the value in having our day captured in more than just still images and price wise, I really feel that Epic Studio Videography is competitively priced for the product they produce. Victor is so easy with work with and everything went off effortlessly. Victor and his team worked seamlessly behind the scenes at my wedding. I hardly noticed their presence during wedding ceremony and reception.
Every time I contacted Victor he replied promptly and most importantly, he was thorough. He answered ALL my questions CLEARLY and NICELY in every email which seemed rare for a wedding vendor. On the day of the wedding we barely saw the videographers just like everyone else said. They get all the shots you want/​need but they aren’t in the way. They were truly professional. Our video arrived a few weeks later than we thought but we weren’t in any hurry and when Tom explained that they took a little more time because our speeches were so good we couldn’t really blame them. Of course we LOVE our video! It really captures the whole feel of the day and all the great moments! We love watching our family give speeches, our friends dancing and ourselves committing our lives to each other. This video will be a cherished keepsake for so many years to come! We can’t wait to watch it with the rest of our family and friends! We are looking forward to capture our future special events with Epic Studio.

Victor is easy to work with, professional and produces amazing work! Since sending us our video trailer, I think I have watched it at least 200 hundred times! He never made us feel self-​conscious, we barely knew he was there and yet he caught the most important and amazing moments of our wedding from the exact and perfect angles!

Victor was so amazing to work with from the moment I contacted him about our wedding. I cannot say enough good things. Victor and his assistant did an amazing job at our wedding last week. He was professional, courteous and we hardly even knew he was there! I was worried that the video camera would make me nervous, but he kept a distance and I completely forgot about the camera being there. We just received our 2 minute trailer and LOVE it! We had a destination wedding in CA (we are from TX) and it was so nice to be able to share our special day with our friends and family who couldn’t be there. I can’t wait to see the whole film!

We cannot speak highly enough of Victor and Epic Studios! Currently living in Chicago I was a little apprehensive of how planning our Sacramento wedding would go. Any bride that has planned from afar knows just how daunting of a task this can be.
When we came across Victor he put us completely at ease and helped do everything in his power to make the planning process easier. From meetings via Skype, to taking the time to reach out to our venue to go do a walk-​thru (without us) well before the wedding it couldn’t have gone smoother.

Victor and his partner were amazing. They were so easy to work with and I barely even noticed that they were filming us. I was at ease on my wedding day and knew that they would do a impeccable job. I work in showbiz as a hobby and it’s always so intrusive and formal. However, working with Victor was easy and I would work with Victor and his team over and over again. I am honored to say that I had my two day South Asian wedding captured by Victor Mihalchuk and his crew at Epic Studios. I was referred to Victor by the photographers I had contracted for my wedding (MDC SF Photography) for his natural approach and dramatic effects — exactly what my husband and I were looking for. Victor was easily approachable and flexible in his location to meet us and times. After one encounter and seeing his desire to make literally epic cinema we knew we were going to love his work. Even as his first South Asian clients, we knew we were in good hands.
Post consultation, Victor was easy to reach by phone and e-​mail throughout the planning process. He’s detail oriented and makes sure he has his locations and times locked in well in advance. He and his crew were punctual, captured natural footage of all our pre-​wedding ceremonies and were not in the way of our guests. My husband and I never felt like we had a camera man in our faces the whole weekend. He was friendly and professional at the same time, constantly looking for ways to keep our appearance as natural as possible (aka no forced smiles!). In conjunction with our photographers, Victor was able to blend right in with the ways of a South Asian event.
To top it all off, if his professionalism wasn’t enough, we received our wedding teaser within 2 weeks as promised and were completely blown away. Our teaser is featured on his website (

It’s flawless — depicts all aspects of the many ceremonies that were included in our wedding, provides natural shots of important ceremony pieces and includes sound bites that we even missed on our big day to give our teaser a beautiful touch. I was not looking for the same old boring video of watching every moment of my wedding. To sit there and watch the whole eventful day would have been a drag. Victor managed to take a long 12 hour day and highlight it beautifully in just a 2 minute teaser. Through out the wedding day I kept telling Victor that i could not wait to see what he comes out with. The teaser was better than I could have imagined. He used perfect clips, with such powerful music to sum up my wedding day. When i first received it, I watched it repeatedly, i was in disbelief that this wasn’t a Hollywood production with actors, rather than it was my wedding.
Victor helped my wedding go smoothly. He went with the flow capturing all the details, and candid moments. Through out the planning process he was there with very quick responses to our emails and phone calls. I have never felt so strongly by recommending something to someone as i do with Epic Studios!
