Little Methodist School in Fair Oaks has been a parent participation preschool since 1964, serving children ages 18 months through 5 years.

We offer four levels of early childhood education: a toddler program (ages 18 – 34 months), two preschool classes; for three and four year olds and for older four year olds and five year olds, and a pre-​kindergarten class designed for those students who are going to be entering kindergarten the following fall. Our classes include:

History

Established in 1964.

Little Methodist School was started by families who were members of Fair Oaks United Methodist Church who had young children and wanted start a school for them. The school started out as a co-​op, then evolved into an elementary school at one time. Now it is a parent participation preschool.

My son went to Little Methodist from the toddler class — the pre-​k. He had a wonderful experience and was well equipped for Kindergarten.
My daughter continues to attend and is thriving in the loving and supportive environment.

LMS is a great parent participation preschool. It has a relaxed atmosphere and low student to teacher ratios with warm and loving teachers. The themed curriculum is a nice combination of creative play, songs, dancing, music, art, social interaction, and books/​reading. Each class gets slightly more academic, with the oldest class learning letters, writing, etc. It is very nice to have a place to send your children that you know your children are happy and safe. As a bonus, it is an affordable option also.
