This is such a cute store! I have been here many times with my mother and they always have the cutest things. It can be pricey, but understandable since most of the things are hand made. Staff has always been very friendly and outgoing. Anytime we have needed help, they have been great.

This store has taken a turn for the worse in the last couple of years. There are boxes EVERYWHERE throughout the store, many of the better vendors have since left the shop, and the cherry on top is the disgusting customer service. As someone who has worked in customer service for over ten years, I am appalled at the behavior of the employees, especially the owner. She definitely leads by example with her sour demeanor and careless attitude. If this is classified as «simpler times» I’ll take the complicated route.

I found this shop absolutely delightful. I checked it out for the first time today after coming to Fair Oaks on an errand and deciding to stay and spend some time.
They are currently filled with things for Halloween and I’ve never seen such a beautiful, interesting, and cute collection of seasonal items.
The woman working there was very pleasant and helpful. I learned they are a co-op with this space being shared.
If they can do this well for every special occasion, I am really looking forward to what they will have to offer for Christmas.

I love going to this store. it makes me feel so happy and back to the days as a child when times were simple. they have wonderful items and my family, all of us found some great Christmas items, beautiful old fashioned ornaments thst i would never have found as well as each grandchild and daughters did. myself and one of my daughters shop here always for unique gifts and I so enjoy the store. just try and over look the attitudes of these employees and you will find your visit very enjoyable, you will return another time as this has become one of my favorite stores. it leaves me with very warm memories of years long ago.

They had a wonderful selection of beautifully unique items, HOWEVER, their customer service was less than desirable.
I went looking for Christmas ornaments for my grandparents, who are collectors, and was astonished when one of the employees blatantly ignored me as I stopped him to ask a question. He looked right at me and walked away. No, «I’ll be with you in a moment,» just walked away as if I didn’t exist.
In this economy I am all about supporting small businesses, but I made an exception in light of the offensive lack of customer service and put away the number of items I was ready to purchase.
There are many other equally as nice stores in Old Fair Oaks, I recommend passing this one by.
