I met Bill at a bridal expo and immediately loved his work. I scheduled a meeting with him a few weeks after the expo and after spending more time just talking to him I knew he was the photographer for my wedding. He made me so comfortable and I knew he was going to capture all the moments of my special day. After the wedding Bill sent me a link with all my photos, I couldn’t believe how fast he was able to get my pictures to me. I couldn’t be happier with my photos! Bill was able to capture so many wonderful moments and I have so many unique photos to reflect back on that perfect day. Go with Bill, you won’t be disappointed!

I met Bill at one of the first bridal shows I attended after getting engaged. We had an immediate connection. When I saw him again a few weeks later, I knew that I needed to seriously consider him for my wedding photos. I was concerned about choosing the right photographer, because our wedding ceremony and reception were going to be entirely indoors. Most of the photographers I met with had little to no examples of indoor photography in their portfolios. Bill and I spoke a few times, and he provided me with samples of his indoor work — photos that weren’t part of his regular display at bridal shows. He explained to me his process in using natural and artificial light in any photo session. I was impressed with his expertise and willingness to be so helpful with me. Then I brought my fiancé to our final meeting. We both agreed that Bill was the perfect choice!
We were both nervous about getting in front of the camera. Bill put us completely at ease. We spent a long day in San Francisco, with Bill getting perfect shots all over the City. On the way home from our engagement session, he let us look at the hundreds of shots he had taken. I was totally blown away! Bill is so uniquely talented and has such an artistic eye that our photos were amazing — and that was before any editing!
On our wedding day, Bill, his son Tyler and his «second/​third shooter» Ann were amazing! They worked so hard to perfectly capture our event. It took some convincing to get my husband to agree to do a First Look session (convincing which mainly came from him looking through Bill’s albums showing the fantastic shots of other couples), and those photos are probably my favorites from all of the images of the day. We did most of our Bridal Party shots before the ceremony. Bill found so many great spots both inside and outside and gave us so many dynamic looks! He even was able to improvise when a «bicycle gang» came riding by and took pictures of the groom and groomsmen that I personally think should win some awards!
We got preview shots from our wedding just days after the event and had the rest of our over 1000 images just weeks later. The pictures are incredible. They captured so many wonderful memories. It is such an embarrassment of riches to have so many phenomenal photos from our special day!
Truly, there aren’t enough superlatives to describe Bill Quinn and his work. The man is an artist and his energy and enthusiasm are contagious. I cannot recommend him enough!

Bill Quinn and his second shooter Ann are perfection. My fiancé and I met Bill in January 2015 at a Bridal show and booked him the next day. Not only does he take fantastic photos but he is super nice. When we told him we had a special circumstance that would make us have to take our engagement photos over two days he not only was ok with it but even drove us to San Francisco to shoot the second day. Bill loves to take photos and doesn’t look at his watch. He will be the first person to arrive and the last to leave.
We did our engagement shoot and had our photos back within days. I also did a bridal boudoir with Bill and Ann and they were so sweet that it didn’t feel awkward at all to be half naked. When you see the photos afterwards, you are amazed at the way Bill knows what angles and lighting to use to show off all your best assets.
When it came to our wedding day bill was with us from 10am till about 9:30p.m. as was his assistant. The morning after we already had 20 photos to see as a preview. He is professional, accomplished and a genuine guy. If you get Ann as his second shooter she is super nice and an excellent photographer. They love taking photos and really enjoy being a part of your event. I would tell everyone Bill is your man!

Where do I begin. My mom and I found Bill at a local Bridal Expo. We would do many circles around the expo and talk to many vendors but we always ended up back and Bill’s booth talking with him about weddings, life, food love et all. As we were leaving we both stopped dead in our tracks and decided right then and there to book Bill and not go home and sleep on it. Why wait. It was love at first sight. Bill not only provided a sense of passion for photography, had stunning work and also has very reasonable prices, he really gave my mom and I a sense that he would be a joy to work with. We were dead on. Our engagement shoot was off to a rocky start because my now husband and I were really uncomfortable in front of a camera. It was also raining on and off. Bill was such a sweetheart and was cracking jokes with us, teasing us and really helping to get us to relax. It worked. Whatever he did worked. We really started just being us and they turned into some of my favorite photos. Come the wedding day, Bill blended into the crowd. Even while he was there when my 7 girls and I were being glammed up in our small hotel room he was there but he wasn’t. Bill is not just an amazing photographer, he is an amazing friend now. Don’t think, just hire him. You won’t regret it and you will have a friend for life. I mean who else can capture the most epic impromptu dance party among grape vines. No one, except Bill: D

Bill (and Ann — the second shooter) were the best decision I made in regards to planning my wedding. We met at a Bridal Fair and I immediately felt a connection to both Bill and his charming wife. His work was lovely and his demeanor instantly put me at ease. We had an engagement shoot and a family shoot (so my step kids could be comfortable with the process prior to the wedding). Every single interaction was perfect. It was fun, it was easy and he gave advice so that the stress eating I was doing prior to the wedding wasn’t as apparent. The pictures arrived quickly and turned out so beautifully. I cannot stress the importance of having Bill as your photographer.

Cons:
–There isn’t one thing I would change about any interaction I had with Bill or Ann. They were incredible. They own us now. Babies, families, etc… they will be our go to photographer.
I cannot reccomend them highly enough. Do yourself a favor and work with this man. You won’t regret it.

My now husband and I used Quinn Photography for our Engagement Photos, Wedding, and additional post wedding photos. Bill was so great to work with, made us feel like we were longtime friends! By the end of the first shoot my husband (fiancé at the time), didn’t want to stop talking photos he was having so much fun! He got some amazing shots of us and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! He and his son (the second photographer at our wedding) are also a great dynamic team that make things fun! I would recommend Bill to anyone who asked!

Bill Quinn is simply incredible. I cannot recommend him enough! I had never met him before but being a friend of my parents, my Mom suggested Bill from the beginning to shoot our wedding at Evergreen Lodge in Yosemite. But it wasn’t until I finally met him and saw his work at a Bridal Fair in San Francisco that I knew he was the perfect choice for our photographer. His shots are so creative — the lighting and perspectives felt so unique. And he was personable, funny, and easy-​going from our very first meeting.
We had not originally planned on doing an engagement shoot, but Bill includes them in his packages because he likes to get to know the couple ahead of time. This way both he and the couple are comfortable shooting and posing on the day of the wedding, making everything more relaxed and beautiful. We threw out Yosemite Valley — one of our favorites places — as a location option for our engagement shoot. We didn’t think it was really viable because of the distance, but Bill was completely on board. He spent the whole day with us in the Valley, scrambling up rocks and waterfalls, climbing over logs. Even for our engagement shoot, he was 100% committed to getting the perfect shots. He captured us in the dramatic scenery beautifully, but also captured more tender close-​ups. We were happy he was as excited about the adventure as we were, and the shots that came out of that day reflected that. We especially knew our wedding shots would be incredible seeing his work from our engagement shoot.
For our actual wedding at Evergreen Lodge — just outside Yosemite — Bill proved himself once again. He came with his second shooter Anne, and the two of them approached the day with the same level of commitment, craft, artistry, humor, and professionalism. All elements of the day were captured beautifully. Bill’s calming presence was much appreciated that day as well– he helped calm down my Mom and was cool as a cucumber, even while capturing a VERY large family photo (30+), including children. The photographs taken that day are simply magical and captured every wonderful moment. We could not have been happier with how they turned out. There have been audible gasps from everyone we’ve shown them to in-​person.
He also got our photos back to us extremely quickly — even posting a selection the Monday after our Saturday wedding — so we could begin sharing with family and friends right away.
Bill is a joy to work with, and any Bride and Groom would be lucky to have him shoot their wedding day!

Oh man, Bill is absolutely the best!!! I knew about Bill as he was the wedding photographer for one of my best friends. When we met with Bill the first time, his passion and excitement for photography was clearly visible and we felt we could not miss the opportunity to work with him. We has a blast during our engagement shoot. Bill was willing to go the extra mile to check out a special spot we had picked out. He also gave us plenty of tips on how to look best in front of the camera. He put us at ease and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. On our wedding day, Bill came with his friend Ann. Bill and Ann are a photography power team. They make sure every photo is just perfect. They photographed my husband and I getting ready at two different locations and at our ceremony site. Bill made sure to capture all our special moments and all our pictures came out beautifully. In addition, several of my family members commented on how wonderful Bill and Ann were, and that they enjoyed having them around. Looking for a wedding photographer for our Tahoe wedding I found that they were all very expensive and had a quite a few restrictions (I wanted 2 shooters, a full day, access to all my images after the wedding). I came across Bill, and his prices were so reasonable I figured there had to be a catch — there isn’t, he is FANTASTIC!!! We were not convinced that we wanted an engagement session, but Bill had it included in the package we chose, found a date that worked for us and drove out to meet us in San Francisco, so we couldn’t say no. And I am glad we didn’t. It was great to meet Bill (I had met him at the Bride Expo, but it was good for my now husband to meet him) and get comfortable with his shooting style. He is very energetic and has so many great ideas for shots, he also took all of our ideas and made them work really well! We finally cut our engagement sessions off after 3.5 hours because we were hungry, but Bill would have stayed all night to get as many shots as we wanted.
We got married up in Tahoe, and Bill came with his friend Ann (who was also fantastic). They came while we were getting ready and got so many great shots of us getting ready, as well as all the important details (some I didn’t even think of)! Ann also went over to get pictures of the guys getting ready. I gave Bill a list of certain shots I wanted before hand, and he was sure to fill the list as much as possible! Our wedding was on a ski hill and it was really important to us to get some good shots on the chairlift — which he did of course! Bill and Ann got shots of almost every guest at the wedding, and all of my DIY details (which was on my shot list). We have had multiple guests tell us how great they thought our photographer, and we have to agree!!!

**Chinese Mother Approved!** Awesome, awesome, awesome! Bill did an amazing job on the pics for our wedding. We could not be happier. He was incredibly professional on the job, and worked very well with all of the other vendors. The pictures he took for us captured our event with so much color, personality, emotion, vibrancy, artistry, and even humor – just fabulous. Could not be happier. His pictures and prices also earned my now-husband’s Chinese mother’s approval, which is almost unheard-​of. Strongly recommended!

I could go on and on about how much I love BIll and has AMAZING work. We had the worlds longest engagement (2years) and Bill was our first booked vendor. Really the only one who didn’t laugh at us saying you want to book two years in advance! We found him at a Bridal Expo. He was the only one in the entire place that actually had the photographer himself there to show his work. Everyone else had representatives who didn’t even know anything about photography! The entire two years leading up the wedding Bill stayed in close contact and he really got to know us. The photos I have from my engagement and wedding are beyond my expectations. He really focuses on what your going for and exceeds your expectations. This is his hobby and he is incredible at it so his flexibility and willingness to do just about anything is so much fun!

Let me start by saying that Bill is amazing! He shot my engagement session as well as my wedding and our pictures are absolutely stunning! Bill is easy going and down to earth He just clicked with us right away. He is adventurous and loves shooting at new and exciting locations. We drove from Sac to Stinson beach for our engagement shoot and had a blast! He knew how to pose us and when and where the best light was to get the most perfect pictures. It wasn’t uncomfortable or weird like you would think with someone you don’t really know it was more like going on an adventure with a friend and coming back with beautiful memories. Our wedding was on a hot June Saturday but he worked through it and was happy and fun the whole day. We started out with a photographer and ended up with a friend. Not to mention our pictures are breathe takingly beautiful! I highly recommend using Bill for your wedding you will end up with the highest quality of pictures as well as a new friend.

I met Bill at a Bridal Expo and was immediately impressed by his drive and passion for what he does. The canvases on display were not your average wedding photos that many of the other booths offered as examples. His dedication to providing brides with a beautiful product was immediately shown after our engagement photo shoot where the entire day was spent at many gorgeous locations and as many outfit changes we could fit into daylight hours and after. Our pictures were provided to us much faster than expected and often advertised. When it came to the big day we had coverage from all angles and at every location we visited. We did not have a videographer but the quantity and quality of the photos we received were so high that the video is not missed. Our photos were ready for review and delivered after the wedding within 4 weeks. Communication throughout the entire engagement period and after was excellent as Bill could always be reached and responded to inquiries within 24 hours. Bill and his family were also very considerate and showed their support to my husband and I for being veterans and didn’t mind working around our military schedules. Without a doubt I would recommend Bill Quinn to family, friends, and anyone who wants quality photography for their special event.

I am not even sure where to begin… We discovered Bill and his wife, Ruth, at a Bridal Expo among MANY other photographers. My (now) husband and I were overwhelmed by the number of photographers but Bill’s work was so uniquely different. Not only are Bill’s pictures uniquely different but so is he! Bill knows what he is doing yet he still listens to what you want and ASKS what you want. He then strives to get the shots and doesn’t stop until he does. His passion for photography is incredibly evident through interactions with him and through his AMAZING work. Bill has shot my engagement, boudoir, and wedding photos and I HIGHLY recommend him. I truly wish there was an option to choose more than 5 stars! Seriously, stop searching, he is your guy!

I just got married on 2÷28÷15 and Bill and his son, Ty captured every single detail and special moment I could ever ask for. We are so thrilled with the photos and he got them to us so quickly. Not only is he a brilliant photographer with creative ideas but he is funny, easy going, patient, professional and just an awesome person to have around. He made our day that much more special. He also did our save the date photos, which of course turned out beautifully as well. He’s very passionate about his work and finds the best light, angle and positions for people to look their best! All I can say is AMAZING… Bill came highly recommend by friends of our who have worked in the field with him. Bill does phenomenal work! He is so creative, flexible, detailed, patient and finds the best natural lighting for photos. He made us «average looking» couple into models without any editing! Bill did our engagement shoot in San Francisco… it lasted 9 hours and he still wanted to keep going so we could get more shots! He also did our wedding this past October! I am so impressed by his turnaround. He had 30 photos posted on his blog the next day for us to see! He also had our photos done within 3 weeks of our wedding. All I can say is Bill is worth every penny. My husband and I are so excited for our pictures and our overall experience with Bill. Bill is the best! He came all the way down to San Diego to do our engagement shoot! We spent so many hours with him, getting tons of shots all over the city! Then came the big day, he again delivered as promised. Not only is he a genuinely a nice guy but his eye for photographs is amazing! We are so happy that we picked Bill to be our photographer!

We recently had our engagement photos shot by Bill in downtown Los Angeles, and it was an amazing experience! He had some fantastic ideas for locations and the pictures came out beautifully, everyone who has viewed them insists they are magazine-​quality photos. My husband and I were planning to get married last August. We postponed our wedding until June 1 of this year and the photographer’s we had booked were not able to make the new date. I asked my friend Dubravka who had gotten married in August who she had as a photographer and she gave me Bill’s name. Seriously, my entire family was happy that our other photographer’s fell through and we were able to book with Bill. Don’t get me wrong, they were great people too, but Bill is not only a great guy, he is a magnificent photographer. I can’t tell you how many people have asked me who took my wedding pictures because they want the same person to do every picture they ever have taken professionally.
In addition to fabulous work and great personality, Bill has the most reasonable pricing I have seen in a wedding photographer. Talk about bang for your buck! Bill did our engagement shoot and spent hours with us on our wedding day. Between the two days he took nearly 1,500 amazing pictures. My husband hates having his picture taken, but Bill made him feel comfortable and even he loves the way our pictures turned out. Not only was Bill excellent when it came to working with us, but he worked well with our two children who are 4 and 10.
