We make use of disposable bag pedicure chairs with uv light sanitation, to ensure your confidence and safety. The Salon features an environmentally green hair care product line; KevinMurphy, MoroccanOil Body products, Designs Shellac, the no-​chip nail polish for natural nails. William Charles is a complete Salon that is dedicated to maintaining your best YOU!

Established in 2010.

An open concept professional salon in beautiful Fair Oaks Village offering a full line of hair, manicure/​pedicure & skin services in a positive environment. We offer products that are Sulfate, phosphate and paraben-​free.

We are the proud Winners of the KCRA3 A-​list in 2014 for Best Hair Color and a Finalist for Best Hair Color in 2015. We also love to give back to our community.

Charles is the business owner & operator of this beautiful Salon. He has been doing hair for over 25 years and has a special gift for connecting with clients and staff alike. He is continually learning about new technology, techniques, styles and products. William Charles Salon embodies his vision of a Salon where customer support is #1. He is also known as a leader in the Fair Oaks community having been part of the Board of Directors at the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce and the Fair Oaks Village Enhancement Committee. In addition, he has been the Chair of events such as the Fair Oaks Christmas in the Village.

Several months ago I realized it was time to find a stylist. I had started doing my own hair after I retired and we still had kids in college. I had an important event and needed a hair cut and color. I found Charles through an Internet search and I’m still smiling. He is authentic present and cares about the salon. It’s open, friendly but not a gossip or therapy center that too many in my decades become. I feel he respects my time and he doesn’t take a whole afternoon doing three people at one time. My hair looks great, he’s very talented and tells you what the plan is for your hair to get agreement/​feedback. Etc. I love his matter of fact communication. I Respect his energy to the salon and keeping it fun but classy. I’m a happy camper and I dreaded going through a «new person» for years! Thanks Charles!

William Charles Salon… what can I say… this is THE BEST salon. I have had my hair colored for many years at some of the very best salons in Beverly Hills, Santa Barbara and Sacramento and no one got it right until I went to Charles. The color is equal to the great hair cut. I think what I appreciate the most is the care taken in understanding the whole person and helping me with skin care as well as hair care.
The atmosphere of the salon is very pleasent and welcoming. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone. My granddaughter, who has very curly unmanageable hair, is truly pleased with the cut and treatment she has received.
For anyone of any age, this is the salon for you if you want a great cut, great color and folks that care about YOU!

Mary is the best stylist that has ever lived in the history of ever. She applied expert knowledge to my difficult, short haircut, and even improved on it. I needed highlights, and told her to go for whatever she thought was best. The salon came very highly-​recommended, so I figured at at the least I would look very interesting. She matched my skin tone and base hair color, and added a touch of punk to make it really fun. I absolutely love it, and her.

We love this place! The whole family gets their hair done here and we get facials too. They location is great and the reception is always friendly! Rain is our favorite but we’ve had great experiences with the other designers as well! Don’t think you can go wrong with anyone here!

I found Vanessa through her Instagram account @fabness. I instantly made an appointment after seeing her work. I’ve never walked out disappointed. Whether I’ve wanted tips, no tips, simple or nail art, she does it and does it very well. Its the best nail experience I’ve ever had. Not only is her work phenomenal, Vanessa is such a sweetheart. Great work and great company!

WARNING:
Okay so I got my nails done at William Charles salon in old Roseville by Vanessa Torres on Wednesday July 15th 2015 I went in she was super nice and inviting, but I had a 4pm appointment. I got there a half hour early and she didn’t start on my nails till 4:30. She was using a different method than I had tried before she did sculpted nails. I was intrigued so I wanted to try them out. So she then applied the set and I loved them she was awesome perfect length shape color. Except for the thickness she had told me they should be as thick as a penny and the glitter will also thicken it. I said okay no worries. I don’t think nails should be 3x a penny in thickness. Only my thumb was like that. I got home still loving my nails and a short 3 days later nails just started popping off like nothing 5 came off… Pretty upset I texted her and she wanted to make it right I was very appreciative for that. But what had happened when I got them «fixed» was inexcusable all of the nails she «fixed» we’re crooked way longer than the others and are all over just awful! I’m warning everyone not to go there. I don’t have the time or patience to go every week because she has messed up. I am posting pictures below for you all to see please SHARE so no one else has to go through this… Not to mention my best friend went right after me and hers have fallen complete off we never plan on returning to William Charles salon! On another note two days after she «fixed» them they are all coming off again. I’m appalled NEVER will I ever go there again. Please don’t waste your money. I wish I could give them 0 stars…

Joshua is AMAZING. I have FINALLY found a stylist that I want to stay with FOREVER! I had always heard of people having «their» stylist… and in the meantime, I would go to a person once, or twice, and never return because I didn’t LOVE my hair. My hair is thick and curly/​wavy… So it was easy for stylists to say «no problem, I know how to cut your hair»… and then really leave me with something… mediocre/​unmanageable… Not until Joshua Jones at William Charles Salon, have I known what it feels like to LOVE my hair. He has done my hair about 6 times now, and I have LOVED my hair ever since that very first time. He gave me a cut for my hair type, face shape, etc– all while listening to what I wanted and adding what I needed. My color is amazing, my cut is FANTASTIC. I’ve never received so many compliments on my hair, but more importantly, I’ve never LOVED my hair as much as I do. I highly recommend going to Joshua!!! It was such a great choice.
As for the salon, it’s such a gem. The ambiance is amazing, you get offered wine, tea, coffee, or water, it’s a high class salon without being intimidating at all. This is the place to go. I really could go on and on about this place and my stylist, but will just say this, try it out!!!

I’ve gone in twice to get color. The first time was great. The second time was terrible. The color was way too dark, and I didn’t even get a cut! I was not only disappointed in the color, but the lack of customer service was the topper. I’ll be trying someone else.

My hair dresser Alisha really listened to what I wanted and did exactly what I asked. I asked to become more blonde, and she made it even more amazing then I expected! She saw mistakes my previous hair dresser made a corrected them without any problem! since then I have been getting compliments on how awesome my hair looks!
If you go here try to book Alisha! I mean they are all great but this is who I am going to for now on!

Had a stylist that I liked for a few years now, but I wasn’t getting the results that I wanted so finally decided to venture out. This salon is close to my house and I drive by it every day! Today I had an appointment! I’m very happy! Jenea was awesome! Very easy to talk to. She knew exactly what I was wanting and gave me a great cute cut! Very clean friendly salon w great prices! I was told about this salon from a co-​worker. After reading the first review I was a little nervous. My co-​worker told me Charles was great and to just trust her. So I did and let me say I am ever so pleased with my hair cut and color! Charles listened to what I wanted and went to work. I have to say I will be going back in three months for my touch up and hair cut!
