Specialties

Though we have clients of all ages and abilities, we specialize in working with students with learning disabilities, attention issues or an autistic spectrum disorder diagnosis. We serve our clients by providing one to one tutorial services including reading remediation, math support, homework help, project management and test preparation. We also offer Homeschool support services including math and language arts labs, art workshops and parent consultations. Friday nights we run a Teen Group for students aged 13 years old and up. During Teen Group we play games, celebrate birthdays, and venture into the community to see plays, dine out and explore.

History

Established in 2010.

Wings morphed into a tutorial center after being a small private school for fifteen years. We have been at our current location since June of 2010 and plan to be there for many more years to come.

Meet the Business Owner

Stephanie M.

Business Owner

Stephanie has been teaching and tutoring for over 25 years. She traveled to South Africa as part of a People to People Special Education Delegation in 2000, and earned an Educator of the Year award from the California Learning Disabilities Association in 2006. Currently, she spends her time at the center tutoring or giving presentations to parent groups about strategies for helping children succeed in school.
