I’ve been coming to this post for the last couple years, ever since I got out of the Marine Corps in 2011. From day one I felt exceptionally welcome and at home. There are a bunch of other OIF and OEF vets that are members and a lot of them are even students like me and they give student veterans their first year of membership for free. It’s a great post and you should definitely swing by! Meetings are the first Monday of every month and the 4th of July BBQ and June Yard Sale are events not to be missed!

I love this post. It’s unlike any other VFW post that I have ever been to. It’s more like a home than anything else.
There isn’t a bar. They don’t smoke inside. The place is filled with Veterans of OIF and OEF (not to mention other generation of veterans).
They made me feel like I was welcomed and that this VFW Post was a place that I could bring my family to for BBQs, events, etc.
