Looking for a military unit flag that you now realize you need to have made? I’ve already done the research for you. Don’t even bother going to the other 2 stores in the area. This is where the service is at, and where the lowest prices are.
Place #1 (on the other side of NOVA) the lady was nice enough, but evidently they don’t do screen printing in-house. They’ll be sending me a quote, and expect 3 weeks (Most expensive.)
Place #2 (between 1 and 3) — is it a cover-business for something else going on? ($ 88)
2 – 3 weeks.
Place #3 olé Abe — guy made suggestions on how to bring down the price, showed me examples, helped to find the proper image. .. (What? You mean you don’t want to charge me $ 40 for something that’s already on the net in the proper format? Wow!) $ 75.
Honest. Kind. Retired military. Conservative (but not an «in your face» type way). Helpful.
Yup, this is where my business will go.

Great people and wonderful to do business with! I needed a funeral presentation flag and case 3 days before a funeral. Went into the shop and they had everything I needed. Not being good at folding a flag they offered to fold it and place it in the presentation case for me while I waited. I would recommend this place for any of your flag, banner or sign needs.

Wow! This place has EVERYTHING! I went in looking for Polish patches for some t-shirts I am making for a family reunion. They had them … in fact, they had a selection of them. Picked up a Polish flag while I was there to use as a door prize at the reunion. I will definitely be back:-)

My husband and I have been visiting this shop
For years and we personally think John
is «politically correct» and we could spend hours talking to him about the politics of the day! The store may be slightly disorganized in our minds but not in his! He knows where everything is and is more than willing to
find what you need or produce what you need!!! There is not a thing
that we haven’t asked John to produce over the years that
he hasn’t!!! You will love this store if you need flags, banners, decals and he even does teeshirts!!! And if your political tendencies are on the left side of John’s I promise you he won’t hold it against you and will provide you with
same polite service he has given every customer he has encountered over the years!!!

It’s long past due that I write a review for this place. This store was just around the corner from where we used to live and I’ve purchased two First Nat’l + Gadsden flags over the years, and a great spinner flag pole, as well as a funny little poster about men vs. women brains. I love how the shop owner is retired military and NOT politically correct. I’ll support any business with those qualities. It’s rare to find it these days, especially around the DC metro area.

We went to Abe Lincoln Flags and Banners since John had always been helpful to us since 2002 doing banners and signs for our charity events at the best prices and often meeting custom requirements.
Fans of any nations and many sports teams fans can find decals, cups, banners, mini-flags, full size and custom flags of many nations and sports teams right off the shelf and if not in a short order time.
We had an immediate need for photo banner for a friends birthday this SAT (today TUE) and John gave us a great price $ 13 less than at other places and would be ready THUR. John downloaded our phone image and gave some suggestions and titling to get it ready to go. While there we grabbed 8 table flags for Brazil and Puerto Rico at astoundingly good prices.
John priced out some custom flags for us at great prices so now we are going to get our artwork together to get those flags ordered when we pick up the others. I am passing out his cards to the 50 people at our party since they can use his help on bigger events I know.
Again over 12 years of great service with even more items to choose from than before.

I’ve passed this little store many times over the years and decided to stop in to get a few stocking stuffers for my family. They had a lot to choose from the normal other than Redskins (blah) which was a wonderful thing. They gave a military discount too. Its a bit eclectic but if you are a sports fan or need to buy for one I would go again. Easy access and Im sure if they don’t have your team they could probably get it for you.

A great place — they are willing to work with you on projects and can even design it right in front of you!
We have used them at work for many projects. It can help to have a timeline in mind to make sure it gets done quickly, but they have always come through in a pinch when we needed fast turnaround.
Also, for custom aluminum signs, allow a week or so for them to get it cut.

If you are thinking about going here– one word Don’t.
I saw a bumper sticker I wanted and drove by on a whim. When I got there the person working there made really lewd disgusting comments I felt SO uncomfortable. The stickers were totally disorganized and he had no idea where the one I wanted was. He started going through a pile and I felt so uncomfortable that I just assumed they didn’t have what I wanted. Honestly– I did not walk I RAN out of that place.
Looking like you’re high and asking for a hug aren’t justified. My guess is it was a bad employee… I’ll never go back.

I have been into Abe Lincoln Flag shop several times for items I just can’t find anywhere else. They always have SOMETHING that works. I often make $$shirts for graduation gifts and like to make ties out of college colors/flags, mascots, logo etc… and I am just very pleased with my luck at old Abe’s! The shop owner is very friendly and helpful, and I enjoy going in there. Also, the new American Flag I bought was top quality, not like the previous one I had that was made in China. The owner is a true patriotic American and he gets 5 stars!

I bought a Virginia state flag from Abe’s when I flew back for the holidays to bring back to California with me. I just took it out of the package and put it up on my wall to find «Sic Semper Tyrammis» emblazoned on the flag instead of ‘Sic Semper Tyrannis” as it should. Not the shop owner’s fault, but total bullshit nonetheless. Amusing, yet bullshit.

I stumbled across this place last Friday — not knowing that Jade R. had reviewed it. I drove by and I thought to myself: «I bet they have VA Tech flags!»
So I trotted in — the guy had two different flavors — one with the Hokie Bird on it, the other was a Maroon flag, with orange trim with the letters «VT» on it.
So I bought one — about $ 38 and change. I held off on the mounting hardware as I need to figure out the heck how and where I am going to anchor it on the little sundeck off of my kitchen.
I’m penalizing for one star — as the damn flag was made in China — it annoys the crap out of me that we can’t get anything made in this country! I realize it’s not the shop owners fault, but…

Well, this store is definitely NOT for me (a future exiled U.S. citizen), but it might be for you.
It is still an interesting place to stop by for various other items no less!
… Just not for New York Mets memorabilia at the time.
(I got a «I Brake for Tailgaters» sticker so I’m feeling neutral. For reference, I do brake so don’t ride my @$$!)
