Arif & Associates, P.C. was founded in 1990 by Charles Martin and Michael Arif. Nearly 25 years later, we continue to ensure that our clients receive the best representation possible.

Business Owner

Michael Arif, a talented and reputable criminal trial attorney of 31 years, is recognized for his extensive criminal law practice on both the state and federal level, and for his work as a Guardian Ad Litem for children. Michael has acted as lead counsel in many high profile criminal cases; most notably as counsel for Lee Boyd Malvo.

Michael is certified by the state of Virginia to handle death penalty cases. Michael’s actively contributes to the community by appearing often as a guest speaker at Marymount University, and acts as a mock trial judge at local law schools.
