Dr. Bitar is an award-​winning board-​certified cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon and member of the prestigious American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), the only plastic surgery credentialing organization recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA). He is also a member of the Faculty of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He has trained with some of the top cosmetic surgeons in the world in Brazil, France, and the USA before he founded the Bitar Cosmetic Surgery Institute.

Dr. Bitar is on the advisory board of Plastic Surgery Products magazine, staying on top of the latest trends, techniques, and procedures in the world of cosmetic surgery. He has been named one of Washingtonian magazine’s top plastic surgeons by his peers, and has also been named a top plastic surgeon by Northern Virginia Magazine and by Health and Beauty Magazine.

After visiting several other surgeons I chose Dr. Lickstein for my post — massive weight loss surgery (breast lift and reduction and lower body lift). Dr. Lickstein has not only met my expectations, but has exceeded them at every point. Finding the right surgeon is important and making sure you have good communication is paramount to me. A couple of things that immediately stood out — he knows his stuff! Lots of experience with my kind of surgery which was an important thing for me. Transparency — I found Dr. Lickstein be very open about his experience and practices which made me feel very comfortable. Perhaps the thing I liked best about Dr. Lickstein was how he included me in every step of planning and preparing for my surgery. I very much felt like this was a partnership between surgeon and patient. We had frank discussions about pain management and some of my other expectations — which was fantastic and somewhat rare. I am recommending Dr. Lickstein to my other weight-​loss friends — he has been simply fantastic. This is a doctor who truly cares about his patients and I highly recommend him.

Dr Bitar is fantastic! I have had several procedures with him, and all have turned out wonderful. I would trust him with any procedure. I’ve had acne scarring since I was a teenager (30 yrs). I have tried many things to improve the scarring, dermabrasion, CO2 fractional laser resurfacing (several times) and all gave me «some» improvement. Those procedures all had some down time and required time off work. I knew those procedures would not get rid of all scarring and was happy just getting «some» improvement. Most recently I had Bellafill, and the results were fantastic! This is the most improvement on the scarring with the least amount of down time. My face was numbed, so the pain was tolerable. I have some deep scarring and those hurt a little more than others. Some places on my face were more sensitive to the pain than others, but overall it was tolerable. This procedure does not have any down time, although I did have some swelling and bruising the next day. I was able to cover most of it with makeup and did go to work. The results are immediate and continue over time. Many of the scars are almost completely smoothed out. I am going back for more Bellafill for the deeper scars, they need a little more work, but I knew that would be the case. Overall, if you are considering Bellafill for acne scarring, I would not hesitate! You will get immediate improvement. I wish this had been available many years ago. Dr Bitar is the doctor you want for Bellafill or any other procedure you are considering!

This is an update in place of my last review. I chose Dr. Bitar to do my revision rhinoplasty over other doctor I had consulted with in the past because I felt he was kind, compassionate, understanding of my desires and completely capable of my surgery with his background, experience and love of complex rhinoplasty procedures. My nose clearly fits in this category — COMPLEX. My nose so far is not great, but I guess it could be worse. There are some serious flaws cosmetically and I’m having breathing issues. I don’t like the way my nose is shaping up. Personally, I think it makes me look older and more masculine. I have to remind myself daily that I am still healing and subtle changes will take place throughout. Of course this surgery has left me depressed and angry cause things haven’t gone perfect, but I will say that Dr. Bitar and his staff have been wonderful at accommodating me with my impatience and upset as I go through the healing process. My nose has some flaws and it may not be great yet, but I am holding on to hope that Dr. Bitar will be able to remedy this.
Dr. Bitar is very compassionate and caring and he is, and will be, by my side till I tell him to get lost, which is more than many surgeons out there would be willing to do for their patients. Where other doctors can be cold and indifferent to their patients needs, Dr. Bitar is very involved with the healing and care of his patients because he wants nothing but the best for all of us and to see us happy. With that said, he has a staff that is just as caring as he is and his staff will go to great lengths to help as much as possible. I admire and appreciate that!

Dr. Bitar is the TRUTH! and I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to finally «pull the trigger» on this procedure. I had my procedure done exactly a week ago but what’s impressive to me was how they greeted and treated me in this futuristic state-​of-​the-​art clinic upon my first visit. The moment I walked in I was greeted not as a person that «needed» body sculpting but as someone that they felt they could enhance with their services. The entire staff was warm and friendly as well as knowledgeable in terms of what I was requesting. Dr. Bitar himself is just a great guy and very professional as well as sensitive to the needs of the client. He will NOT put your cosmetic needs ahead of your personal health situation and in my case, I had a prior heart health situation which Dr. Bitar was adamant in me getting the proper medical clearance from my Cardiologist first prior to performing the procedure. He told me that he had no problem canceling my procedure until I had gotten the green light from my Cardiologist because he felt that I should not be taking the risk if it was going to cause me any health damages and I truly appreciated his concern.
Trust me when I say that his clinic is NOT out to make a quick buck or to get rich off their clients… their goal is to enhance your beauty but to also do it in such a way as to not cause you any harm in exchange for the «new you». I was given the green light and Dr. Bitar performed his magic and I couldn’t be more happy. I’m still a little sore but that’s part of the healing process so I’m ok with it. I highly recommend the Bitar Institute for ALL your cosmetic needs and I can say without a doubt, you will be pleased to have chosen such a world-​class physician to work with… he truly is a «rock-​star doctor» with a Midis touch.

I have had procedures done by both doctors here. Dr. Centeno is the most recent. He is meticulous and has a keen eye for detail. I appreciate his kind personality and his drive for perfection. Their assistant spent a lot of time with me during the initial consultation as well as Dr. Centeno. They both addressed all my concerns and were able to answer my questions. I didn’t feel rushed so that they could move onto their next patient. I will be back.

The Dr is really talented, knows what to do he finished my procedure within minutes (lips filling + gummy smile)
There was no bruising, swelling was to a normal degree not that I freaked out and only lasted for a day

I highly recommend this practice. I had earlobe repair surgery, because I wore heavy earrings in the 1980’s and my earrings were drooping and I was worried my earlobe was going to tear in half. It’s now been over a month and my earlobe is healing beautifully and I will go back in a few weeks to have it repierced.
My mother got some Botox and my aunt got filler. Dr. Centeno did an incredible job on both of them. You will be very pleased with the work of Dr. Bitar and Centeno! Great doctors and good people!

Although the facility in Fairfax is nice all else was not worth it at all. I had browpexy done and I wished they told me how big my scars are going to be, the scars are really long, I lost hair all around that area, and worst of it all, I SEE NO Difference! So now i have two big scars in my hairline and every time the wind blows I get worried that my hair will move revealing the scars. Was not worth the money, time, results at all! Very disappointed!

I had a breast augmentation 2 years ago and i must say that it was the best money i ever spent. To this day no one thinks my breasts are fake, he did a spectacular job putting me in a size that looks real and feel great. I only wish i would’ve got them sooner. The staff was always nice and I couldn’t be happier with the results and pre and post op care.

I would have given them 5 stars – but the receptionist was rude n they changed my location to Manassas n I was forced to drive in traffic for 2.5 hrs n waited in the waiting room/​room for another hour. My appointment was at 5:30 n didn’t get home till 8:30. Kinda was awful after working since 6am.
But the Dr himself, has an amazing bedside manor n so knowledgeable – thoroughly addressed all my issues.
I recommend the Dr bc his services were exceptional n reasonable. N scheduling is not his area of expertise. So I will be returning n hopefully scheduling will be better!

To begin, I’m huge about customer service; TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff at Dr. Bitars office bend their backs for the clients. They go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable, your informed and you get the results that you’re paying for. I’ve always been skeptical about getting a breast augmentation, but when I mentioned that to his staff they immediately told me 1,000 things and MORE. They wanted to make sure that I got the information that I needed, whether it was going to bring me towards wanting to get one done, or not.
I met Dr. Bitar himself and he was a delight. He is always in high spirits and all smiles. His wife also works at the office managing the staff and she is phenomenal as well! She is so informative, sweet and full of laughs.
Dr. George & Rima Bitar and the staff at Bitar Institute really helped me make the decision I’ve been trying to make for years. I’m so excited to be a part of their clientele and can not wait to see amazing results from such a talented group of individuals!

In December, I tore my ear lobe all the way through. I began researching how to fix this — whether with plastic surgery or going to Patient First to have them stitch me up. I came across Bitar Cosmetic Institue and decided to do the plastic surgery route because this is something I would need to live with the rest of my life — so it needed to be done the right way!
I am so glad I went there. I had my consultation and surgery this week. Dr. Bitar and his staff were warm and friendly and really eased my nerves. They called me several days before the surgery to walk me through what to expect. The staff at the front desk were really nice and i felt Dr. Bitar’s bedside manner was very warm and welcoming. The doctor who prepped me for surgery made me laugh and she really did a great job of putting me at ease.
The next day, I had a post-​op follow up to take a look at the stitches and the nurse who examined me was so nice! She had me cracking up while she was looking at my ear. Again, same great service.
I will have my stitches removed next week, but I am not scared at all because I know they’ll take good care of me.
If I ever need to have anything done in the future, Bitar is where I will go. I’ve also recommended them to my co-​worker, who also has a torn ear lobe. She’s been too scared to have it fixed, but I’ve been convincing her to make an appointment at Bitar and I think she will.

After years of contemplating plastic surgery and many consultations with other doctors, I had nearly changed my mind about having the procedure. Then I met Dr. Bitar and his amazing staff. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt so comfortable. Everyone there is attentive, friendly, honest, and caring. I knew right away that he was the only doctor I wanted to operate on me. Dr. Bitar explained everything about my abdominoplasty with great detail and patience and answered all of my questions (lots of questions) without ever getting frustrated or making me feel silly for asking them.
The surgery went well and the staff at Inova Fairfax hospital was fantastic! Throughout all of my post-​op visits, Dr. Bitar and his staff continued to be very attentive, ensuring the best possible outcome. I am thrilled with my results! I never thought I would have the stomach I had dreamed about for so long. I would recommend the Bitar Cosmetic Surgery Institute to anyone! Dr. Bitar is an excellent doctor and an expert in his field!

Dr. Bitar has been doing my dysport armpit injections since 2009. I’m incredibly pleased with the results. The treatment lasts over 2 years for me and I could not achieve these results any other way — even with prescription antiperspirant. Kudos! Highly recommend him for ladies tired of ruining their blouses.

I am three weeks out from my breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Bitar and am already extremely happy with the results! I was very skeptical and back and forth on having the surgery done but am so happy I did. I got it done before Christmas and recovered so well with the pain medication that I was able to eat Christmas dinner with my family. Dr. Bitar went with the smaller size of my selected size scale and I am very happy because they are a very natural, real looking size. Would definitely recommend this office– they follow up with you every step along the way.

My result was not what I discussed with him. Besides that I had problem with one breast dropping and the other not. The one that didn’t was very painful and his staff were very dismissive of me and my concerns. He, too, was very rude to me. Having lost 130# on my own through hardwork (not weight loss surgery, although I’m not judging folks for doing that), he insisted that I was «fat» at 125 and 5’5″. And that I could still lose more weight. He was just gruff and dismissive which I could’ve accepted if the results were what we discussed. They were not and I continue to battle the negative results to this day – 6 years later. If I could go back again, I would never have had the surgery again. I’m sure he is perfectly competent, most of the time, just in my case, there were some issues.
