Cedar’s Cafè

It said it opens at 11 but it actually opens at 12. We came all the way from Arlington cos of its rating only to find it closed. Very disappointed. Please convey correct information on Unilocal or website.

I would recommend everyone to come check this place out! They recently expanded, so the place is really big and spacey. You do not feel crowded at all, even when the place does get packed. Their sofas are very comfortable. They have a couple long sofas and love seats that seat parties of 7+, and also have couches for groups of four. If you want to play cards with friends, they also have chairs for groups of two or four. They also renovated their bathrooms-​really nice and clean. The workers clean them throughout the day so they really don’t feel like public restrooms.
Speaking of the workers, they are all extremely hard working and kind. Right when a customer walks in, they great them, seat them, and give them their menus. It does not take forever like some places. They are also very knowledgeable, so they often help new shisha smokers pick out good flavors to smoke and good food to eat. You feel as though they really want you to get the best experience here. They do not even wait for you to ask for an extra napkin or bottle of water, but come by often with things you need and to ask if you are doing okay. Once you do order, it’s ready as soon as possible. There is not a long wait whatsoever.
The place gets packed but it rarely gets loud. During the day is a very calm place with soft music playing. At night the music is still soft but you can hear laughter throughout the place. There is a good mix of different people who come here. Although it is a Lebanese place, you will not feel out of place regardless of background.
The best part of me is that I do not leave smelling like hookah or cigarette smoke. They have a really good ventilation, so it’s never cloudy inside or stuffy. Smoking cigarettes is not allowed inside, but there is a really nice seating area outside one can choose to sit in if they need to smoke! It’s very nice during spring and summer nights.
In regards to their food, it’s a nice mix of traditional Lebanese food and American food. If you’re in the mood you can have a chicken shawarma (best in the area) or you can stick with a classic steak and cheese. They are really good at making your food to your liking, so if you like your bread extra toasty or with extra cheese, you know they will get it right. The hookah is very, very clean! They have new disposable hoses at no extra charge, and the flavor you want is the flavor you get. They use certain hookahs for certain flavors, so if you order blue mist you are smoking purely blue mist!
Stop by and talk to the owner, he is very accommodating and welcoming.

Cedars Café is by far the best Mediterranean Café in the DMV area. They have the best hookah, and very authentic food. The café is very ambient, and the staff is delightful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, great hookah, and exceptional Lebanese dishes.

Cool hookah place. The atmosphere is a lot nicer than other hookah places I’ve been to in Northern Virginia. It has nice furniture that looks very new and fancy. It’s not too loud like some other hookah places. You are still able to enjoy your conversation with your friends while listening to the music.
It’s connected to the Cedar’s Gourmet Café next door which is cool so you can order food or a smoothie and eat/​drink while smoking hookah.
The customer service was really friendly and welcoming. The guy always comes to restock our coal without us even asking which is nice.
Overall I really like this hookah place and would come more often if I lived closer by.

This is about to become my new favorite hookah bar! They have delicious food and they really know how to make hookah that lasts long. The service is fast and the people that work there are really sweet and bring our food and hookah within minutes. The area is pretty spacious on the inside and it’s still a fairly new place. The best hookah flavor is cloud 9 with peach. The flavor is sweet and smooth, the smoke is thick, and it lasts forever. As far as food goes I’ve only ordered their chicken shwarma platter with rice and it’s soooo good! They give you some tahini and garlic sauce on the side, with some tomatoes, pickles, rice, and chicken. The portions are big and you’re also given some warm pita bread. Their freshly squeezed orange juice is so delicious and refreshing! The place is clean and they bring out disposable pipes, prices are cheap but with great quality. I’m planning on becoming a regular at this place :)

Hookahs 4.5÷5: Almost perfect; just wish the hoses were premium types so I could blow some serious smoke. The hookahs last long though because they are well-​packed.
Food: 4.5÷5: Ive had their beef shawarma, its good. Also their salad, not too shabby.
Environment: ⁵⁄₅: chill. Not too loud like a lot of other hookah bars. You enjoy music and can hear your conversation. Open til 2.
Customer service: ⁵⁄₅: Fast service. Welcoming people. The guys that work here will take care of you. The coal comes around often enough, so your hookah is always pumping. unlike other places where you have to ask for a new coal all the time.
Price: ⁵⁄₅: Prices are very fair.
My suggestion to the owners: Add some American favorites such as pizza, subs, and burgers to your menu.

Everything about this place is great. Great service great food. And one of the best places in nova for hookah they make there really good. They have one of the best Arab foods as well. The environment makes you want to relax with your friends its great for groups has very nice seating where ever u sit. It also has tv’s all over the place to watch while u relax. The owners are very nice to everyone that walks in to. Everything is fairly priced too. This is a must go to hookah bar

There are numerous hookah lounges in the area and this one was definitely worth every penny! Long lasting packs and cool flavors! We enjoyed some jasmine, green and raspberry teas. The neighborhood is very diverse and although we were the only white females in the establishment, everyone around us was having so much fun, we felt as though we blended right in! Our server was very knowledgable and friendly. The inside is definitely very casual and café like: could wear a hoodie and flip flops and be comfortable. Our server said they were in the middle of renovating. Tables, chairs and comfy couches, outdoor seating, late night food menu, disposable hoses and mouth pieces, free wi-​fi, ask server for password, open until 2am, need I say more?! I will be back!

The hookah café is fairly new. It’s actually connected to Cedar’s Gourmet Café so you can always order some food from the café while enjoying your hookah.
I like the hookah here. It taste good and it comes with a disposable hose. I’m a germaphobic so disposable tubes are the way to go. Wait staff is friendly and since they are fairly new there isn’t much of a crowd for now. This makes it a little easier as there’s less second hand hookah smoke.
There is 3 giant TV in the hookah lounge so you can smoke and watch the game. When I was here they had a basketball game going on the TV.
You can also replenish your hookah supply if need any. They sell shisha and coal here as well. The price for hookah and drinks are moderately priced. Typically a lot of the hookah café tend to up their drink prices to make more profit but this place doesn’t so it’s a plus.
