Specialties
Heaven is returning home from a business trip or vacation to find your pets happy, healthy, and well-cared for by our trained professional pet sitters.
Utter bliss is returning to happy, healthy pets PLUS fresh groceries in the fridge, laundry washed and put away, the dry-cleaning hung up, the house cleaned from stem to stern, and fresh-cut flowers on the table. Oh, and that new cable connection is completed and that package signed for.
Creature Comfort provides custom concierge care for people and their pets – tailored specifically to their individual needs. Whether you travel frequently for business, take long holidays abroad, just want to get away for the weekend, or are practically living at the office working on that big project, Creature Comfort can step in to handle the many things you just don’t have time to do.
History
Established in 2010.
Creature Comfort was established by a cadre of veteran pet sitters who chose providing superior, custom pet care as a career, rather than a part-time, non-skilled job.
We are educated professionals who came to pet sitting from fields where we held positions of responsibility, and we have coupled that professional experience with our love for working with animals to provide exceptional pet care.
We are licensed, bonded, and insured, and are members in good standing of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters and the Northern Virginia Professional Pet Sitters Network.
We care for your pet and your home with the same attention and love we do our own.
Meet the Business Owner
Kim S.
Business Owner
Kim left corporate life in 2008 to, simply, love animals! After working for another pet sitting firm as a dog walker and pet sitter for two years, she decided she wanted to make a career of pet care. Not long thereafter, Creature Comfort was born.
She has lived with and loved dogs her entire life, and has participated in many dog training courses and activities. She also spent several years working as a vet tech for a vaccine clinic. Though she has never had the privilege of being owned by a cat, she has learned much about them and can appreciate them just as much as – though differently than – dogs. :-)
