Dasha’s Custom Cakes

Dasha is absolutely the most caring baker in the world. She is using all natural colors and works with all her clients very closely. We usually order a Tres Leches cake from her and delicious great-​looking holiday goodies. Thank you, Dasha!

I ordered gluten free birthday cakes and cupcakes now at two different occasions from Dasha.
Everyone that had them at our parties raved about them and said they never had such a delicious cake before!

We’ve been ordering her cakes as a family for a long time. Our favorites include her tiramisu and apple pie; they’re not too sweet yet still delicious. The decorations are pretty, and she charges a fair price for each cake/​pie. I’m still ordering from her, will buy our next cake from her for my husband’s birthday.

Dasha made a perfect white cake for my client’s birthday: moist, light, not overly sweet. Everyone loved it, kids and adults. We took it to a picnic in a park, so it spent a while sitting outside in fog and wind, and still looked beautiful.

I had an incredible experience with this young woman’s company, this past weekend. It’s my wife’s birthday weekend, and we are headed out to Stinson Beach to a rental for the weekend, we are all packed and awaiting the arrival of Gluten– free Birthday Cheesecake and 3 Doz. Gluten free cupcakes.
Dasha is a bit late, so my wife decides to call to check on the order. Oh No! Seems that there was a mis-​communication, and Dasha had the order down for the following Saturday. With many businesses, there would be a shrug and a lame apology, and we would have been left to our own devices to find a gluten-​free Birthday Cake on a moment’s notice. I’ve been in the foodservice business as a chef for almost 40 years; so I know that this is not impossible, but a somewhat difficult problem to solve…
A long story short, Dasha shows up at our Stinson Beach rental with the order, several hours later. She suspended her production schedule to fill my wife’s order (No small matter in a custom bakery situation, as everything served is absolutely fresh) The Cheesecake was one of the finest I’ve ever tasted, with a great balance of flavors, the cupcakes were moist and not too sweet: the product itself was flawless.
But what impressed me the most about this young woman was her commitment to making it right for my wife, and going the extra mile (s) form the production of the order, all the way out to Stinson Beach to make sure that the Birthday cake was there. In this age of half-​baked customer service, and general lack of anything resembling craft pride and business integrity, Dasha has restored this old Chef’s faith in the belief that excellence can still be found in the food service business.

I have ordered the Fruity hill cake for the second time and got compliments from all my guests. This review is a little late but Dasha’s Custom Cakes deserve it! Great service, freshest ingredients and so tasty!

I’ve tasted Dasha’s birthday cake, and it was excellent. The taste balance was neither too sweet, nor plain but just right, and the cake texture was rich but not heavy. I don’t know how she does it, but it was definitely better than any store bought cake I’ve tried anywhere.

Our son is obsessed with cars, so for his 2^nd birthday we ordered a «Car Cake». He loved it.
Since then we’ve always ordered our special occasions cakes from Dasha’s Custom Cakes. Dasha’s cakes are amazing! Not only they are delicious, but they are so beautiful and unique! Dasha is an excellent baker but she is also a very creative artist. Each cake we saw is a piece of art.
What I also love about Dasha’s cakes besides the taste is that she uses all natural components when making her colors. You can tell the colors are natural — they are not as bright as the ones you see on most cakes out there.
We’ll definitely continue to order from Dasha’s Custom Cakes!
