Why does this store exist? They are terrible. They are holding my contacts hostage until they get around to being open.
They are filling my contacts prescription and I can’t pick the contacts up until *they* get around to it. They are so casual and seem to think that even though the rest of us have to work during the week, they can go ahead and be closed, without warning, on Wednesdays and Fridays.
I called on a Wed. to find out if I could pick up my prescription and they said they were closed. Then I drove to the store to read the hours posted on the door to find out when they would be open, and the hours posted on the door clearly said they were open M-​Saturday. I am here on a Friday and all of a sudden they have strips of white pieces of paper that say «CLOSED» on them, pasted over the hours for Wed. and Fri.
When you call the number on the door, it forwards to a different location with an unhelpful person on the phone who says they have always been closed on Wednesdays and Fridays and that the strips of white pieces of paper have been on the door for a long time. Really? How long? Because I drove by two days ago and they weren’t there then, and you can clearly see through the pieces of paper to where the original hours are still visible.
I hope to eventually see white strips of paper posted over ALL the days of the week, because whoever owns this store clearly doesn’t care one wit about the people of this community. All they care about is the appearance of having «multiple locations». Well what good is that if it is multiple locations that SUCK?

I went to Eye & Vision Care for the first time three years ago when they were still located in Chantilly. I’ve gone back every year since then because the office was great, and the staff was wonderful.
I don’t know if there was a change in management when they moved or not, but since they moved to their Fairfax location, I have experienced horrible customer service with no follow through from staff. There was an order I received that had a lens that was slightly damaged and was supposed to be reordered and fixed.
2 months later, no one had contacted me about the replacement lens, so I followed up. They had never even placed the order like they were supposed to. When they finally did after I had to follow up, and the order was delivered to the Fairfax location, no one called to let me know it had arrived. I had to follow up several times to finally find out that my order was there. However, the office hours listed on the website are inaccurate and it seems as though the office is closed more days than it is open. Because of this, they have told me I have to go to another location (that is inconvenient to both where I live and where I work) and leave my prescription glasses there for 2 days.
I chose the Fairfax (formerly Chantilly) location due to the convenience factor — if they were open on the days they say on their website, this issue could be taken care of within minutes. If you are looking for great customer service, I would not suggest going here.

Do not go here! The lack of professionalism, common courtesy, and customer service is absolutely horrifying! I have never been to a worse place!

I had a lot of trepidation coming here from Dressler & Associates because of an insurance constraint. (see my review of Dressler’s)
I was very pleased for these reasons:
1) I can call up and I get a human who knows me and answers my questions quickly.
2) TJ (Terence) provides clear advice on frames and lenses and I can stop in and he takes care of my unscheduled requests for advice and service. He calls my house and, in clear English, tells me what is up and what I need to do.
3) Dr. Dimple Kapoor has a great personality and is very intelligent. I feel like her skill protects me.
Bottom line is this is a professionally run shop that does not feel like an out of control factory and I think they know what they are doing. It is a pleasure going there, not a hassle, and I get personal service, not hurried exploitation.
