Nice, large and open salon. Very clean. Friendly staff. I had a gel fill. My tech was super fast. Not the most even shaping I’ve had, and I did feel rushed, even though I had made an appointment and there were not a lot of customers in. I will go back, very convenient location. They did not offer to up sell me at all, contrary to other reviews. They offered waxing to my friend, but she declined with a smile and that was the end of it. Will edit review when I return.

I love them! Keep in mind, some of them aren’t the best so if you go make sure to go to number 15, 3 or 4 (she’s the youngest she looks like a teenager, go to her if you want someone can speak English well) I love to go there for nails I never tried eyebrows waxing or anything else they offer

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT! I have been going here for a few months trying someone different each time and NONE of them are worth your hard earned money. But this last time I went took the cake! I was just healing from the previous girl cutting my skin twice with the nail filer. And this time the lady cut me 5 TIMES!!! I was bleeding so bad and my fingers still hurt. I have been getting my nails done for a decade so I know to stay still and relax your fingers (I’m not a newbie). I left there with 4 of my fingers on my right hand bleeding and one on the other hand. It has been 3 days and I’m still bleeding; 2 of my fingers started bleeding again today! Seriously, I thought that maybe if I kept trying I would find a good one in there but I was wrong. Seriously, WRONG! I hate to say this but please don’t go to this place! This is the closest nail salon to me but I won’t be going back.

My nails were looking a little crazy so I decided to get a gel overlay. Tracy did my nails. I have had better but I will try this place a few more times and possibly change my rating. I think Tracy felt I rushed so she kinda rushed which was ok with me. The prices are great as well.

I have been a customer at this salon for around 3 years now. I ONLY see Mary and she is fantastic! She is quick, personable, nice, friendly and very charming. Her work is amazing and I do not trust anyone else to do my nails. You will need an appointment to have Mary, as I have never seen her waiting for a walk-​in. I have the gel nails, and they last 3 – 4 weeks without chipping. Mary is amazing and has become a good friend to me. I highly recommend going to see her!

My grandmother and mother have been going to Mary here for at least a decade, and I recently had her start doing acrylics for me. Every time I go she comes up with something beautiful and creative, and she is an absolute pleasure to talk to. If you like funky and creative designs, Mary should be your first choice nail tech!

Cindy does a fantastic job polishing my nails, I had a hard time choosing my color this week so she picked for me, definitely a change gears for me and a refreshing look! My favorite technicians are Cindy and Tran, but Tran is on maternity leave.

This is now the second time that I have gone here for a gel manicure. I live less than 2 minutes away from fancy nails and still drive to Arlington to get my nails done; that should tell you something.
I’ve been getting gel manicures regularly since middle school so I’d to like think that I know what I’m talking about. I came here because I was being lazy and didn’t want to drive 30 minutes to my normal spot in rush-​hour traffic-​big mistake. BOTH times that I have gotten a gel manicure here have been horrendous. While the overall process was mediocre, it’s the long term wear that I am not happy with. Each time the nail polish has lasted less than two weeks. The polish is chipping and breaking my nails after ONE WEEK. You would think I got just a normal manicure. I’m not sure if it’s because the polish is old or what but next time I will definitely suck it up and go to my normal nail place that serves me beverages, costs half as much, and has the BEST nail work and technicians.

I wish I could give this place a 0. The lady that did my pedicure was rude and became agitated when I informed her that shaping of my toenails were different. From that point on she yanked, twisted and pinched my feet as if I were a rag doll. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Fancy nails has more color choices then any nail salon, anywhere! There prices are very reasonable and have lots of great nail techs. I go to Mary, she is very talented and great with communication. Make an appointment before you come as she books up quick. Here is my most recent holiday inspired nails in black and gold.

As I sit at Fancy Nails and Spa waiting for my nails to dry after an amazing pedi by Michelle, I had to write a quick review to say how awesome of a job she did! I walked in with very tired feet, they were LONG overdo for some attention and Michelle really hooked me up!!! She will be my go to going forward for all of my foot needs! Next time I will give her a shot at a mani and see if she will win me over again:) Thanks a million Michelle and Fancy Nails and Spa!!!:)

I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and had no wait for a pedicure. The tub was clean and I had a relaxing massage and warm towel wrap as part of the spa pedicure. I will happily return.

Started coming here more frequently even though it is out of the way from where I live. I had been referred to TRACY, who is seriously the best nail tech I have ever been too! Not only does she do a great job on my nails, she is the sweetest and makes me feel super comfortable and satisfied! Even after my tips grow out, they don’t even look like it’s been 2 weeks old. My coworkers always compliment on how good they look every week without even knowing it’s been done for the past few weeks, and ask me who I have been going too. Tracy definitely very skilled and talented in what she does!!!

I’ve been going here for years but finally writing a review. Been going here even before they moved across the parking lot for expansion of the salon. I highly recommend Tracy! She’s such a sweetheart, very good at what she does, and gentle. I request Tracy for all my services there — mani, fills, pedi, and wax. She books up pretty quickly; I’m assuming she has a strong clientele since she’s been there for over 10 years! And I actually really enjoy catching up with her at every visit.

Mary is the absolute best! I went to her for a year and is worth waiting for if she’s busy– get an appt! she is über quick, but doesn’t sacrifice quality. she’s very nice and will remember everything about you and makes you feel comfortable.

Went in for a pedi yesterday and was extremely disappointed.
After changing my initial decision to have a French pedi I asked for a purple polish instead … THE TECHNICIAN SAID NO! We had not even started and yet (she had literally just sat me down) I was not allowed to change my mind!
After that she asked if I wanted salt scrub. I said no thank you and she put it on anyway… For $ 4 more. Once again ignoring my request.
Then came the tools. I asked her to not shave off the rough spot in my heels and just use a pumice stone. She said no, that would take too much time and shaved off the rough spots with a metal tool from a common cart that I have no idea when it was autoclaved last. It was gross. The pumice that she used to polish my feet was the same one the tech next to me has used in her client and was just rinsed in the water. I was insanely grossed out.
The French tip polish job was rushed. I asked for the white polish to be a little less long/​bold since my toe nails are quite short and it looked a bit odd. Once again she said NO and that it would «look bad» if she changed it. I think she just wanted to keep the pedi to less than 15 minutes.
Had I not had a gift certificate I would have refused to pay. The technician was rude, the hygienic practices were horrible, and it was a rushed, incomplete pedi.
I will not be going back. Ever.

Very first time I went there immediately took me back and started. Everyone was very nice. In and out and she did and amazing job and the price wasn’t that bad. Very happy customer and I deffentetly will be going back.

This past weekend was my first time coming to this salon. It’s not my go to but it was convenient on both instances. I came here last Thursday during the early evening after receiving a massage next door. My boyfriend scheduled an appointment for me for my birthday and everyone who worked there made sure to wish me a happy birthday. That was very nice. It was funny when the lady doing my pedicure whispered «how old are you» LOL! I’m not ashamed of my age so I said it loud and proud «26!» My pedicure was done rather quickly. She had to do a lot of clean up throughout the process (getting polish off my skin, using her nail and a brush w/​acetone to remove it). That generally makes me nervous because I don’t want them to mess up the polish in the process, so I like my nail tech to be a bit of a perfectionist, so had she been moving a bit slower, she may not have messed up so much. They have a HUGE selection of polishes here, but this makes me nervous because how often do the workers actually make sure the polish is still good. Luckily, I’m a polish junkie, so I checked the polish before I used it. Also, it would be nice to have the colors organized by shades and hues within the brand organizer. It felt like being in Forever 21 looking for something, my eyes were darting everywhere looking for a blue I wanted. The basic pedicure is just that, basic. It doesn’t come with a paraffin wax dip or any type of scrub, but the plus is that the pedicure is I believe only $ 20, so if you want all that extra stuff it’s an option instead of your lower tier pedicure being $ 30. The first time I went the nail tech, took her time, so it’s definitely about who does the polish for you.

Not all nail technicians have the same skill level; however, my hair tech, MARY is a little better than your average tech. ;o)
I’ve been going to Mary for years. Like a good hair dresser, I swear by her for my nails.
UPDATE ON HOW SHE’S AWESOME:
1. She’s FAST
I just want to get in and out of the chair! If you like to get pampered, no worries, she’s always trying to sneak in a small massage with me (it’s included) and all that. I’m usually just trying to escape the salon. Things to do! lol
2. My Shellac manis last at least 3 weeks!

3. Doesn’t push/​offer additional services.
I’ve been going to her for years. I don’t even have to tell her anything. LOL– I almost always get french. Rapport goes a lonnggg way.
4. Very Personable
Personally, you do not have to talk to me-I’m fine. I go everywhere with a book. However, over the years I’ve developed a friendship with Mary. She initiated it. She’s has a great memory, is funny, and appears to engage her clients (who want to chat) in conversation.
5. She’s a Pleaser
If you’re unhappy– she’ll listen and fix whatever you’re unhappy about. I’ve never been unhappy– well, I did try to do color one time, and chickened out after she painted one hand. She took off the polish without a problem.
Mary once shared that she appreciated feedback as it provides her room to improve. She just wants to have a happy clientele. Pretty cool.

READING OPTIONS: The owners have invested in a plethora of magazine subscriptions for their clients. Very considerate.

I should’ve listened to Brandi K’s review. I’m pretty disappointed in this place. Came here to have a little girl bonding time with my roomie. She had raved about this place and how the gel manicures were so cheap.
We got seen right away, my roomie got the nice nail tech who talked to her throughout the whole process. Mine was nice too, but there was much engagement.
1^st thing that made me knew it wasn’t going to be a great experience was when she kinda semi rushed doing my pedi. She only did one coat and moved me to the nail station before I could say anything. I guess maybe it’s my fault for not noticing this and assumed she would just do at least two coats (since most places do this anyways).
From there she did my nails and cut it and filed it the way she wanted to. Blargh, again I guess I thought she would’ve asked me how I would like it shaped and cut since most places do that…
All in all she didn’t shape my nails that nice. My left hand nails look so unprofessional… To top that off she assumed I had cash and didn’t even put a tip option on my credit card and said «sorry you tell me». Damn b like can you not ask your customer?
One of the worst nail experiences ever. Don’t think I’ll be back. Usually when I get gel/​shellac I stare at my nails all day, week, etc. This, looks like straight up messed up gloop poop!
