H&R Block

Interesting how my previous review has been deleted… Let’s see if this one remains.
Stay far away from H&R Block! I have been trying to clean up all their numerous mistakes from 2013 and 2014 since May!!! Every tax preparer I’ve seen with H&R Block – 3 — have been incompetent. They have all been Master Tax Preparers and EA designation with H&R Block but all equally incompetent. The last preparer I just dealt with was clueless on how to properly fill out Form 8606 and was asking me how to complete it! I ended up pulling up the instructions and had to walk the tax preparer through it! I did not pay H&R Block $ 450 for me to tell their tax «professional» how to do my taxes!
It is also worth mentioning that for the past 5 years that H&R Block has prepared my fairly simple tax return, I’ve received tax notices from the IRS for tax errors !
Needless to say, I will never return to H&R Block. I’ve already filed several complaints with their corporate office, but have received minimal support or relief from them.
Stay away. Save your money. Save yourself from headaches of dealing with the IRS. You are much better off doing your own taxes with TurboTax.
