I would like to give this hair cuttery props for giving me the full service for my haircut including a shampoo and blow-dry at no additional costs. If I ever need a haircut again(which I will). The lady who cut my hair even started a conversation with me(which I haven’t seen with other barbers) I would definitely come back here!

Lieu was able to take me very quickly and understood how I wanted my hair. She cut it quickly and dried it just as fast. I will give HER4 stars. However, the parking was horrible. It was mainly due to the mounds of snow that took up many parking places and too many HIGH volume business crammed into 1 shopping center.

As soon as i got seated, mrs kim constantly asked to donate my hair. Then she showed me the length to cut off. I said no, please cut only the half of that. Then she mumbled that i cant donate if that short. Then the next thing i knew, she cut off the chunk then walked away briefly to place it somewhere then proceeded to trim me. I asked why my hair looked shorter than i expected, then she said no it is still long enough. She skipped shampooing me yet asked for 18 dollars thats supposed to be included in that price. now my impression of this place is to be careful. I dont think i can trust enough to go back there again.

I had the most lovely experience at this place thanks to my stylist, Lieu. She is this delightful Vietnamese woman who I highly recommend for the service I received. I came in for a shampoo/blow dry and came out looking like a super model! Just for $ 28. She took extra care with my hair and was great to converse with. I will return!

I’ve gone to this location a couple of times. So far, this is the best hair cuttery I’ve been to. I had two different stylists. Both did a good job at giving a good hair cut.

******warning****** do not get mens haircut here. they do not listen to your request. i showed a picture of what i wanted and asked exactly for what i wanted and they couldnt even come close to it. i could have cut my hair better with my eyes closed with a pair of toenail clippers. they deserve 0 stars.

MIMIIS A GODESS! I have been going to her for a basic mens haircut for about 3 years. After I asked her to do a more«„cool“» haircut I am thoroughly impressed with her skills. They never try to convince you to buy stuff you don’t need, are super friendly, and very hygienic.

I used to come here twice a month for deep conditioning and cutting off my split ends, but this place has deteriorated quite a lot. Before HC used to hire the«cream of the crop» stylists, but recently the service here has been quite bad as the stylists do not understand how to deep condition or even cut hair. The stylists are nice with their clients, but the place is quite unclean so I recommend you spend your money somewhere else.

Ask for Wali, he is the best! He listens to what you want and delivers exactly what you asked for. I have fine long blonde hair. In the past stylists have always tried to talk me into cutting my hair shorter. But shoulder length doesn’t work for me because I like to put my hair up in a bun. Wali has NEVER cut my hair too short. He adds layers and shape to my otherwise limp hair while still keeping the length. Plus he only charges $ 18 for a haircut. I usually give him a $ 10 tip in cash because he deserves it. Even with the tip, it is still about 70% less than what I would have spent to have my haircut at a day spa.

I’ve been getting my hair cut and high lights done by Diane for years now. She’s super nice and always does a great job and wont go anywhere else. Staff is super friendly and shop is always clean. There are a couple stores in the same plaza so even on a bust day I can check out others store and come back while I kill some time.

Nicky gave me the worse haircut ever!, she rushed it and didnt understand a medium fade and cut way too much and too high. Never again!

I went here once before for a trim and it was decent. I just went there again, wanting to go from medium brown to a vibrant red. The Salon Lead, Jing, did not seem to want to do it. She said it would look very bad when the roots grow it — um, do you think I don’t know that, lady? I showed her the swatch from the book I wanted and she kept looking at my hair with a disgusted look. I told her, yes, bleach it, that is why I went to a salon rather than used a box dye. She said with a trim it would be $ 143. I told her I don’t need a trim and somehow that raised the price to $ 164. I think she also needs a math class. There were stylists sitting around also staring at me as she tried to tell my my hair will not look good red. I know it will require upkeep, that is why I went there. Left very disappointed and will never return. All of the stylists seemed very rude and lacked very basic customer service skills. DONOTRECOMMEND! Oh and the parking lot is like a minefield, so don’t even bother.

Just got a cut and shampoo from Vicki and I couldn’t be happier. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did a good job. She was fast and friendly and it was reasonably priced at $ 20 including tip for a shampoo and cut. There are a few uneven spots though but overall I’m pleased.

I had an extremely horrible experience here. I have been to other Hair Cutterys and have been pleased with the service but the people who were working when I went in on Saturday July 14th were atrocious. I came in for highlights and asked for them to look natural, my stylist said«oh yes, natural is so much better»…they came out chunky and really weren’t well done at all. The worst was my poor sister who came in for an up-do, she showed the guy doing her hair a picture of what she wanted. I don’t think he even looked at it, he nodded his head and went on to give her the worst 80’s prom hair ever. Then when we complained he had the nerve to say it was my sisters fault for not telling him she didn’t like what he was doing… You had a PICTURE of what she wanted. Not to mention he kept her back to the mirror for the majority of the time so he could give her the«big reveal». His attitude was completely insulting, he’s a one trick pony and totally lacks professionalism. Don’t waste your money here.

I really have no idea how this place received 4 stars… if you really dont care about what your hair looks like, this is the place for you. last time i went here, i asked for a trim(quarter inch), the lady chopped off FIVE inches. i would understand if i had a bunch of split ends or damaged hair but my hair was in healthy condition and i told her i was trying to grow it out. i even showed photos of what i wanted and my hair looks nothing like what i requested.

I’ve been going to Hair Cuttery for as long as I can remember. It’s been hit or miss with the different locations — trying to find a stylist who understands what you want. I’m just a guy with normal short hair but I’ve encountered many who seem unable to get it right. I’ve been going to this location for a while now. I typically ask for Kim but haven’t received a bad haircut from anyone. Of course you don’t need an appointment but it’s a reasonable idea during peak hours. It’s next to a few great places for running errands including Trader Joe’s and CVS.
