Love this mcD’s! They always get my order correct and I am 99% a drive thru customer. All of the staff at the windows are awesome and very pleasant! The food is hot and delicious … And yes; it’s fast food; but that takes attention to detail so that items don’t sit too long.

One very professional and mature, friendly lady at drive thru cashier at 9 am many times that makes it all worth the trip

This McDonald’s is closest to my work but I try to avoid it if necessary and go to the one on 50. My order is typically incorrect and the drive thru moves slow. I was running late this morning and wanted to grab a coffee. I will say that the people that work at the drive thru at this location are very friendly. But this morning, my coffee had a horrible chemical smell to it. I’m not sure if they cleaned the machine recently and just didn’t rinse it well, but as soon as I pulled away from the drive thru, my car reeked of cleaner. I wasn’t brave enough to taste it and dumped it out.

Really bad staff for nighttime drive through, got the orders mixed up and tried to compensate one wrong size but upgrading another. Definitely won’t be going back

Always friendly in drive through. Ice cream cones need to be given to customers as last part of order. It’s hard to hold more than one and take rest of your food driving and unsafe, in a car. My Rottweiler loves this place and the ice cream.

I go there to get a caffee, just because of minion mania promotion. But they give me cup without sticker, which must be at each cup. When I asked about sticker, seller said me she can’t help with anything. So this McDonald’s kind of cheating costumers.

Orders are always correct, drive thru is quick, even if there are a lot of people in line. When I go in the mornings, a lady named Tonette(sp?) is a a cheerful delight to a non-morning person. I’ll continue to come here again and again.

:(Saaaaaaaaaad face! I was actually excited to try out their new Asian Salad but I guess the powers above really want me to stay away from this place even their salads. Before I could even dig in there was a piece of hair just sitting on top of the salad :(I thought they had to wear hair nets??? ugh… the struggle. Well, I called the store and spoke with the manager and he just acted like, «oh, okay thanks» and i’m going supposed to be stopping by later this afternoon for another salad but I think I’m going to ask for a refund instead. I wish I had a portable kitchen to make my own food even at work :)(I don’t do well with left overs).

Second time in a few weeks I’m at this drive-thru requesting at least 1 yogurt parfait and the employees allow me to pay for the order, and at the 2nd window where I would’ve obtained it, they state they don’t have it, and to make matters worse, they refuse to give me a refund(e.g. try to get me to buy something else? Or tell me to wait 5 min for a refund). During this 2nd visit, I parked my vehicle and went inside for a refund. Why is the communication so horrible about what’s available and what is the issue with a refund at the drive-thru? This is not what I expect of McDonald’s; it’s not that difficult. Lesson learned: don’t go there for yogurt parfaits because you won’t get it and they will decrease your quality of life.

The drive through here is, as of August 13, 2014, open 24 hours a day on Friday and Saturday ONLY, it is not 24 hours a day for the other days it is open; I hope this helps others who may be similarly mislead by some reviews which state that this McD location has a 24 hour drive through, as some other reviews have stated.

This McDonald’s is really squared away. The drive-thru is super fast and even if the line is long, they get through it quickly. I’ve been here many times and it is rare that they make a mistake on my orders. The staff is always friendly and polite. There are two things that bother me about this location. 1. Any time I order chicken nuggets, they specifically ask if I want«BBQ sauce.» Not«what sauce would you like?» or «would you like sauce?» I find it strange that they are pushing the BBQ sauce so hard. 2. There are a lot of homeless people that live nearby and naturally they come to McDonald’s for the cheap food. This doesn’t bother me except that on the few occasions that I decided to eat there some of the homeless people have sat their chanting or yelling strange oddities. I don’t think the management can really do anything about it, maybe they can, I’m just not sure. But consider this a warning if you plan to stay and eat. *This business is gun carry friendly.

The food here is the same as McDonald’s food everywhere else. My issue is with the location. As a woman I do not go here alone. I only go with my husband and that’s when we’re too lazy to drive over to Fair Lakes. There are always some sketchy looking characters hanging around this place. I honestly don’t feel safe. I have asked my husband more than once to go through the drive through if we go after dark. I’m not comfortable with leaving the car to walk into the restaurant. It’s not even the shopping center itself that worries me. I go to the Xsport gym, I shop at the stores around the area, but specifically this McDonald’s. To be honest, nothing has happened, but women’s intuition screams at me to be very aware of my surroundings, be smart of when I go and to have some one with me. As stated in another review, the workers here are polite and nice.

Probably the best Mcdanks in Fairfax! The staff is nice and friendly and the food is… Its McDonalds so the food is the same everywhere. The only problem is if you are out ordering a ton of stuff with friends they ALWAYS forget something so check your bag!

It’s McDonald’s, so you either like their food or you don’t. I rated the Food as Very Good, because I happen to like their food. If you don’t like their food, then why bother, right? This McDonald’s does a booming business and they handle the crowd quite efficiently. The drive thru moves like clock work during the lunch rush, and the interior lines move quickly too. They renovated the interior layout last year, so it is «modernized» compared to some McD’s stores.

Not as clean as other reviewers thought. Found a dead roach in my fries. Needless to say I’d recommend everyone to stay away from this place. If you must eat here make sure you check your food thoroughly.

Its a McDonalds, so I dont expect much, however, this may be the only competent McDonalds in the area. The closest to this is Fairfax City by the Paul High School and totally sucks!

I love McDonalds but hate this location. Not only does it not have a drive thru but the location is the only one thus far not updated in the area. Wondering why they haven’t renovated this one to a more modern look and hoping they will include a drive thru.

Used to come here all the time, the facility is cleaner than most McDonalds, and they have a flat screen TV. But don’t expect to switch your combo soda to a small coffee, because one of the senior cashiers will just tell you that it’s not included in the meal.

I used to live in the City of Fairfax when I was growing up. This became the Mickey D’s we gravitated towards — as it was newer and nicer than the one on Lee Highway. I don’t visit this one as often as I used to — but it still periodically gets some of my business. Was waiting a bit for it to be time for my Doctor’s appointment earlier this week. I hit this Mickey D’s for lunch — via the Drive Thru — had the number #4 — Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, large fries, and a Diet Coke. Burger was hot and tasty, not overly greasy, fries were crisp — the fries could have been a little hotter, Diet Coke was icy cold. The one thing this McDonald’s needs to do is gut the restrooms and rebuild them.
