Mint Nail Lounge

This is the second time I have given this salon a chance. They used to be excellent and now they have gotten sloppy. I get shellac and the last two times the polish was not cleaned properly and the nails chipped after just a few days. This time I have nail polish on my cuticles and fingers. Never going back not worth the $ 44 price tag.

Since I live in the area, I’ve gone back to Mint twice since my terrible experience with another technician. Thankfully, both experiences were much better with Hau and Milly, and I’ll come back when I need to get a simple gel mani and pedi. They were both meticulous, gentle, and sweet throughout the services and always made sure the water or the hot stones were at a good temperature.
The receptionist is friendly and always offers color suggestions. Appointments are recommended. They accept all forms of credit, but bring cash for tip. There’s plenty of cash in the register in case you need change.

It’s a bit pricy, but you’re absolutely paying for what you’re receiving. I’ve been here at least 5 times since I moved up here. I’m in Mosaic all the time and my co-​worker suggested Mint as a great place to get a gel manicure. They are absolutely AMAZING. my nail are always perfect when I leave and they use brand new tools on every person (which I personally love and appreciate). The ambiance is very calming and they always offer you tea, water, coffee, etc. when you walk in. I would definitely recommend making an appointment because they get pretty busy (as they should be!). Also, if you go during lunch hours they have a «happy hour» special if you don’t want to pay full price. LOVE this place!

Bring cash for a tip! I always make an appointment online, so I can’t speak for wait time because I’ve never waited. This salon is awesome. Yes, it’s a bit expensive, but I expected it with a prime location in mosaic. Amazing customer service and it’s really clean. My nails come out great every time. I’m always willing to pay a little extra for a perfect experience.

Had to wait twenty minutes even though I had an appointment. Gel polishes need to be displayed better. Receptionist/​host speaks very loudly so it’s hard to relax once you’re being attended to. My technician did an OK job– but forgot to do a top coat until I reminded her. I will return to give it one more try since it’s close. It’s overpriced though– because their rent costs $ 8,000 a month they bill you that cost by raising the price of services. Understandable, it is located in a prime spot in Mosaic

Wow! I have been going here for a few months now to get pedicures and it is absolutely wonderful. I usually ask for Winnie, who is amazing and gives the best masssages. I am going to be honest and say that this place is a little more pricey than I usually go to, but honestly, it is worth every penny. I get the deep clean pedicure almost every time and it includes the callus remover, mask, hot stone massage, regular massage, and parrafin wax on my heels while my toes are being painted…
I didn’t know what I was missing until I came to this store!

Don’t get acrylic nails done here. Over priced for bad service. I came out with each nail different shape and size, and VERY thick. When they told me to dry my nails under the fan the nail polish started to fold under the fan. Nice people, clean place, I’m sure their regular services are better. They were understanding and gave me a free service to come back and get it fixed, But I’m probably not going back. Nice customer service despite the rest

I got the package and received a discount w/​living social promo. I even got free teas and water bottle. Everyone was nice.
If ONLY they would lower the pricing; the quality of the shellac mani/​pedi is worth add-​on and lasts for couple weeks. Thanks!

This is my first time experiencing Mint. I did mani and asked for a specific design on my nails. I was hesitant at first not knowing whether they can do the way I wanted. But it turned out quite well! I like the service and if you pay in cash, you get a 5% discount.

I usually get my nails done (gel) every 2 weeks, and sometimes that’s pushing it. Not with Annie. I could probably go 4 weeks without getting my nails redone, but just get bored with the color.
She takes her time, and literally gives the best gel manicure I’ve ever had! I’ve tried so many technicians in the past and no one is as meticulous and can keep my nails to last, chip free, for so long.
The salon itself is also very clean and the technicians are friendly but it’s also quiet so you can relax.
The front desk supervisor, Nadia, is also very sweet and helps you pick out colors. It’s like she’s memorized the entire OPI collection. It’s awesome.

I really loved this place. I don’t do pedicures (I hate having my feet touched), so I can’t speak to those services.
I called and scheduled appointments the day before for myself and a friend. The woman on the phone was very nice and knowledgeable about the services. When we arrived my friend decided to add a pedicure and they were very accommodating and offered us water or tea. I did the lemon dream manicure. It included an exfoliating scrub, an arm/​hand massage, a wrap in hot towels and a hot stone massage. My nail tech helped me pick out a color after several false starts. I have had my polish on for a week now and it hasn’t chipped at all — and this is normal polish not even gel. I’ve never had a manicure stay so impeccable for so long.
We were the last appointments of the day and despite that fact they didn’t make us feel rushed or hurried at all. Everyone was very friendly and the salon is incredibly clean. I know this place is pricier than many of the other salons in the area but I would certainly return. You get a lot for your money and they provide good customer service.

Mint is a very clean, professional, and nice new spot for nails. Winnie is my favorite tech here but most all I’ve seen are careful and attentive. There are 8 mani and 8 pedi stations and 3 chairs for drying. I’ve had one mani here and a number of pedicures (classic mint, lavender, milk and honey, and red wine), but no other treatments (e.g. Waxing). Wide selection of colors including the zoya line which I believe is 3-​free, if not 5-​free. Tips cannot be applied to cards, so bring cash.
Be prepared to settle in — speed is not really the objective, so I only come on weekends generally when I can relax. Prices run above average in my opinion, but it’s a nice experience:
Scrubs, lotions, and towels are kept hot, and massage includes a hot stone. Techs give you the emery board, nail buffer, and «pumice» block to take home after every visit. Not all pedis include a callus remover; you’ll need to ask for it by request with a lot of the pedis and will set you back another $ 8 I think, but I never pass it up.
Overall a nice place, if not on the more spendy side.

I had been looking for a new nail salon after my normal salon had closed and I though that since the title was «nail lounge» that for some reason it would be more upscale but it’s really not. IF you’re thinking of going here for that reason just stick with your current nail place.
I made an appointment and got in the same day. The staff was friendly and accommodating but that’s the extent of the positives. My pedicure was just OK, and she forgot to put a clear coat on top of the color. My full set was actually really painful — my technician got more glue/​acrylic on my skin than my nails and was very rough in trying to remove it. My nails were also misshaped despite my continued requests to have them filed a certain way. It was a little pricier than my normal nail salon too which was disappointing. Overall this place isn’t terrible but I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend. There are definitely better places in the area.

So I had the hardest time finding the store… But honestly the mosaic center is just confusing (I’m actually just bad at directions). At first I was going to stop by salon nordine or whatever in the center of the mosaic district, but the staff didn’t seem so welcoming when I walked in.
So, I ended up in the mint nail lounge. First things first, the décor is TOTES CUTE! (Read it while your voice goes higher) the receptionist was absolutely adorable! She was nice and welcoming, plus her outfit was cute too. The technicians didn’t seem too welcoming when I walked in, but that’s the usual when you’re Asian… Walking into an Asian salon. Haha, but my tech was very nice and adorable. She took her time with every detail (or maybe she’s slow idk) but you can tell she cared. Oh and her name is Winnie. She was constantly making sure if the temperature was right or if she was hurting me by accident (which she did not). I’ve been to plenty of salons and I can guarantee you Winnie is FANTASTIC.
I got the almond and milk gel mani and pedi and the total was $ 125. From my perspective, I found it was a reasonable price for such a good experience. I was going to tip Winnie $ 40 but I didn’t have enough cash on me so I ended up tipping her $ 20 and felt kind of bad.
Either way I will return and request for Winnie, and definitely make sure I bring more money for tip!

I came to this Nail Salon on ⁴⁄₂₈ but after 4 days one of my Gel nails is already chipped which is really irritating because it was not an inexpensive place.
The service is good and the place is very clean but not worth it if the Gel nail will chip immediately.
5÷5− I got an e-​mail from this salon and was very impressed by the fast customer response to a problem so yesterday i passed by to get two nails that had chipped after 4 days and they greeted me and fixed my nails but today i just realized that the same nail that chipped is chipped again. Im really not sure what is the problem because i use gloves at home to do any kinda of housework. Im thinking the nail polish is old or there was not enough coats put on the nail. Im giving them another star due to there customer service but this is very upsetting.

Great place due to convenience and I also had a great pedicure. It is a very pricey place for the luxury service — which quite honestly could be found at other nail places. They sell everything organic which is probably what brings people here but for me… it is the 5 minute walk. I did however enjoy my time.

shortly after writing my original review, the manager of mint nail lounge reached out to me to give them another shot with a complimentary mani & pedi. this gesture was greatly appreciated.
she also referred me to annie, one of the nail technicians. she was very skilled and sweet. just like any other business it really depends on the day and who you get. she did a great job.
again, the mani & pedi are still kinda pricey but you also get some extra stuff that you wouldn’t normally get: sugar scrub & paraffin wax in addition to a great massage chair. it is a really nice treat.
this place is super convenient for me so i will probably come return to see annie.

I purchased an Amazon Local deal for a hydrating citrus manicure. It was easy to book a time to come in that worked for me. I was there early and offered something to drink. I decided on some coffee and it was delicious. I love kerigs coffee
The nail tech, Ve-​Nu, did an awesome job and was very friendly. My hands felt silky smooth after leaving and my nails look really good. I hope they last at least a week because that is a miracle for me.
This lounge is located behind the movie theater and is located near up and coming new restaurants and retail. So I had plenty of parking which I could see problems maybe in the future.
The prices were a little expensive and not sure if I would spend if not with a deal or sale. I am now a student so money is a little tight.

I came for a mani on grand opening and had a wonderful experience. My manicurist was very sweet and skilled at applying my chocolate-​colored polish (less experienced techs struggle with darker color paints). She got all the corners, yay! She also gave me a nice hand massage, using just the right amount of pressure. The lotions that they use at Mint are really fragrant and moisturizing. I still smelled good after multiple hand washings (and I wash my hands a lot, folks). My skin was baby smooth the next morning.

The salon is compact but bright and attractive. Mint’s owner seems to favor a more minimal décor style, which I think is a good thing. I’ve seen too many salons with tacky-​looking fake floral arrangements and framed photos of more fake floral arrangements (hahaha). I’m okay without.
The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. And all staff speak English. They also offer tea, water, and cupcakes for customers. Nice!
Prices are about average for this location. I think the prices are commensurate with the experience that you’ll receive. Besides, you shouldn’t skimp when your skin, hands, and feet are involved. High standards for sanitation should be observed at all nail salons, but that is unfortunately not always the case. Exposure to a host of fungal diseases is not fun, and I’d much rather pay a little extra to guarantee my safety and also come out with perfectly manicured hands and/​or feet.
