My group was originally scheduled for the weekend of Snowzilla and since we all lived in DC or MD, we didn’t think it would be safe or even possible to get to VA in the weather. Anna was very accommodating and we were able to reschedule for the following weekend for Save The White House. Our group was 4 and another group of 6 were added to ours(I think the previous poster was in our group). Overall, the experience was great. I’m sure everyone benefited for each others groups and forced people to communicate and collaborate with strangers(Maybe some people are less inclined). There were a few minor hiccups with the room itself and luckily we were able to use our own resources and additional help from the staff to ensure that we were able to solve all the clues. For venturing out of DC, this was a ton of fun and my group plans on coming back to defeat Dr. Panic next!

Just had our first Room Escape experience last night. We did Dr. Panic. We solved it with about 6 minutes to spare. I must say I completely loved and enjoyed the experience!!! It was so awesome. My fiancé and I were with another family of 5. Immediately we all worked together and solved the game and got out. I didn’t know what to expect, since we had never done it before, but this will be something we continue to do. The staff was great, puzzles were tough, and the rooms were awesome! Overall it was awesome and we will be back again!!!

We had a Groupon so we decided to give it a whirl. They were very accommodating, we had to change our reservation(we were originally scheduled to go during Snowzilla 2016) and very flexible about adding and changing people we had decided to bring. I think 10 was too many people for the room, though. I would limit it to 6 or fewer – we had 6 and they added 4 people to our reservation. We didn’t all get to communicate on the pieces/puzzles we were working on. We did the White House themed room and there were a lot of locks to deal with but overall it was fun.

I really want to give four and half stars, but my gut says to lean more towards five. My friends and I completed the Dr. Panic room last weekend and we had an absolute blast. I loved how there were three rooms connected with the scenario and you are required to move between then and stay in communication with your teammates in order to escape. Very fun! The only reason I would like to take away half a star is that some of the puzzles/clues didn’t seem all that tied into the storyline. Some just felt like random puzzles or free clues. I did one of these in Austin that tied everything into the story a little better. But like I said up-front, still an awesome time!!!

This was the first«escape room» that I’ve been to and it was pretty fun. My friend’s bought a groupon for this place for four people. Originally we were thinking that we would be paired with just one other couple but we ended up being paired up with two couples making it eight people. I thought having more people would make it better anyways so that way we can all combine our brains together to solve riddles from different perspectives. We chose the asylum which I was hoping to be a little scary. which it somewhat was. Our group escaped the room two minutes over the time(62 minutes instead of 60) because the owner was nice enough to give us a couple extra minutes knowing how close we were to finally escaping the room. Will probably try to do this again for their white house room. and without needing those extra two minutes next time!

A whole lot of fun, was a little skeptical about being paired up with people you don’t know, we were 2 matched up with a group of 6, and well it worked from the moment we entered the room everyone helps each other, you have to work as a team to get through the rooms, i was hoping for a little bit more of a scare, since we chose escape the mental asylum… Very intellectual game, will come back and to escape the white house!!!

Sucks! Nothing like the original one in alexandria. A friend bought a package through Groupon and we thought it was a great deal… ummm… no, it was sooo cheesy I felt embarassed to be there. But, if you really like a bunch of nonsense and a bootleg version of the original or really really like spending an hour trying to figure out a bunch of locks(and not much else), go ahead, but you might still regret it. So disappointed…
