Re-​keyed an entire house in an hour for a reasonable price. Professional service at a good price.

The lock in my sliding glass door was not working and it was stuck in the locked position. I called Suburban Safe & Lock and they sent someone out in less than an hour. He was able to get the door open and replace the lock for a fair price. After a weekend of stressing out, my door was back in working order within a half hour. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a locksmith.

After calling a few different locksmith’s that were only mobile services and one that kept promising to call me back with an answer about my key I needed a copy of and never did. I found suburban safe and lock. I called and asked if they could do it, Josh said he would do his best, so I brought it in, he didn’t have the exact key blank, but he made another blank and it works like charm. Highly recommend them. Excellent customer service, and got my project done!

They were able to send a technician the same day I called. Fred was tech that came out. He was very professional and quick! He also did a great job! Highly recommend this company.

Need something simple like a key? Or something more complicated, like a new lock? Whatever it is, Suburban will take care of it, and at a very reasonable price. They’re really reliable and expert at what they do. The key copies they make always work! They have a nice selection of door hardware and home safes, too. We’ve been customers for years, and recommend them highly.

A different locksmith told me that my lock was completely broken and needed to be replaced at a cost of $ 1200. This seemed ridiculous, so I had Suburban give me a quote. Instead of replacing the entire lock, the locksmith was able to repair my lock immediately. Great service. Nice guy. Highly recommend

This locksmith was fair and honest and quick. I had an emergency and they came almost immediately and he changed the lock and supplied new keys. Neat, clean, efficient. Recommend. Others tried to charge a service fee then quote. They were able to give me a quote over the phone.

I’m surprised nobody has reviewed this business, which has been in operation for 30+ years. I had to have my door re-​keyed, and I noticed this business in a Fairfax shopping center when I was out and about last night. So I called them today, and they were available for same-​day service — awesome! I had lots of questions, and they were very patient and thorough with answering — great customer service. They also give a firm and clear no-b.s. price quote, which is a good sign; and their quotes are comparable with other reputable locksmiths in the area. The technician who came out was very courteous, honest (ie, not trying to sell me more services and/​or products, ensuring me that what I had was good enough) and quick. I received an itemized receipt on company stationary after all was done. In short: I highly recommend this business to anyone living in Fairfax County in need of locksmith services! I am very satisfied with my experience with Suburban Safe & Lock.
