Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had, and they came from an unassuming food truck parked outside a gas station. So glad I stopped in. Bring cash, though — they have the Visa/MC sticker up but weren’t taking them when I went.

Great price for 2.50 tacos, and the flavors were on point! Truly authentic Mexican tacos finally right in suburbia! It’s straight to the point. We liked the lengua(tongue) and al pastor the most but even the barbacoa and chorizo were just as delicious! Their super fast even right at lunch.

This place is incredible! Love Tacos El Torito! I ordered tacos barbacoa, tacos al-pastor, taco de carne asada, and tacos de lengua. They were all amazing! Food was fresh and delicious. This place is a food truck by She’ll gas station at the corner of Lee Hwy and Prosperity Ave. Incredible!

I mean no harm to anyone trying to make a living running a food truck, but — Pros: — The flavor and simplicity of the tacos were spot on. I had a steak, chicken and pork taco. The others on the menu are authentic with tongue and beef tripe. — Corn tortillas were delicious — Priced right at $ 2.50 a piece(small enough to have 3 or more) — Topping’s were onions, cilantro and a slurry of green salsa — Greasy but the right kind of wet — Easy to find off Route 29 before you get to Gallows Road(heading East) in Front of Shell(next to post office) — plenty of parking in PO Cons: — Bring extra napkins — A bit more greasy than they should be(napkins were orange when I finished) — Meat was dry and over cooked I will try again but not rushing out anytime soon. I was looking for a wow taco. Keep on trucking Tacos El Torito.

Stopped– by, based on Unilocal reviews, & was not disappointed. Tacos were tasty, hot from the oven AND authentic. Reminded me of the food when I lived in SoCal. Will return

Delicious, hidden gem, only cool kids know this best kept secret. The limited ratings prove people around Mosaic/Vienna have no idea they are missing out on some of the best food truck tacos around! Credit to my boyfriend for his curiosity and discovering this mouth watering taco haven. We come here and get 2 – 3 tacos for $ 2.50 each and just LOVE how authentic and filling it is! The meat options are so authentic, you won’t find just plain beef or shredded chicken but all kinds of tasty morsels that will knock your socks off. The toppings are simple. Just some diced white onions and cilantro with homemade salsa verde that is mind blowing. If you’re lucky enough to be in the neighborhood and see this truck open for business… Proceed to get yourself some life changing tacos.

They take credit cards! Try the mixto burrito. It has carne asada, chorizo, and chicken. Solid meat and good taste. Bien servidos.

First visit. Food was great and great customer service. I had two steak tacos and I must admit they were actually better than my usual taco joint. I will definitely return.

I’ve only eaten 200 or 300 tacos while in Mexico and throughout Central America, so I’m not an expert. But El Torito has the best tacos I’ve had by far in the U.S. I eat there(food truck) at least once or twice a week. Authentic cuts of meat and friendly service. Try the torta mixed, delicious!!!

This place is right in front of the Shell gas station on rt 29 in Merrifield and MAN is it WONDERFUL! I sometimes visit 3x week. I have tried the tamales, quesadillas, the brain taco, the tongue taco and the pork taco. ALL delicious! The prices are cheap. The menu is in Spanish, but don’t worry. Ask the guy what it is and he will tell you. As a matter of fact, I am on my way there now.

This is the real deal! Having relocated to this area from out west I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to find authentic Mexican food. I’m so glad that I located this food truck. Their Tacos El Pastor and Carne Asada are delicious. Served traditionally with onion and cilantro. Prices are very reasonable and the owner is very friendly.

The people are nice, but the food(tacos) though tasty, are extremely greasy. To give them a little credit, I usually eat healthy, so the food was very heavy. You can’t even tell if they are open and the location was a bit shady.
