Stumbled upon this cozy little store in the middle of old town a couple months ago and I haven’t been able to stay away ever since! Vintage tees, jackets, sweaters, jewelry, and some cute little things here and there. I would buy the whole store if I could. The atmosphere is very chill and the workers are super nice and friendly. I have no idea how they come up with their prices. I’ve gotten a sweater for $ 8 but a graphic tee for $ 18 before. It’s bizarre but it’s worth it. They’ll give out 10% discounts here and there just because– Definitely check this place out! It’s fun to explore, they get new stuff every couple of weeks. You never know what you’ll stumble upon.

This quaint vintage shop located in the back corner of a parking lot is filled with amazing pieces… I was even surprised to find several Barongs, Philippine formal shirts for men. They have a wide variety of shirts and just different pieces in general, from shirts, to jeans, to even a vintage nurses uniform. Stop by and take a peek. You never know what may grab your attention.

I’m not really into thrift-hunting, I just happened to stumble across this store walking down Main Street, Fairfax. They have a wide selection of vintage t-shirts and TONS of cute dresses that are very anthropologie-esque(without the hefty price tag of $ 200.00 per dress, think more along the lines of $ 10 — $ 20). If you are into the vintage look, they have tons of great finds and you can tell that they must meticulously search for dresses and clothes because everything in the store is pretty and wearable. The store is clean, and if I were a college student looking for clothes to wear over the weekend, I would totally find myself shopping here on the regular! The only downside is the lack of variety of sizes. The more common sizes are far and few, so I had to walk away empty handed. =(

The Factory sells a blend of new and vintage T-shirts and clothing(and by «vintage,» I mean stuff from the 1960s and 1970s, not 50s and earlier). The selection of T-shirts is big, everything else is limited, probably due to the size constraints of the store. I’m not a fan of 1970s style, so I didn’t find much here that appealed to me, although the prices are fairly reasonable(I did get a tie-front button-down shirt for $ 7) and you can get a 10% off card for future purchases for free. If you collect vintage T-shirts, probably a good place to check out. It’s also nice to see a vintage store that has as much merchandise for men as for women. There’s also not-so-vintage dresses, a smattering of jewelry, and men and women’s shoes.

My friend(a Fairfax native) and I(not so much) stumbled upon this joint while searching for the recently relocated Yesterday’s Rose. I was genuinely thrilled by some of the items we found(i.e. a kickass pair of culottes which would have been worth every bit of the $ 25 price tag, save for the gaping hole in the left thigh…). There were some truly unique, one-of-a-kind items. However, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I could find similar items at the Goodwill down the street for much less moola. Color me cheap. What’s that, you say? That’s why they call it VINTAGE? My bad. Final verdict: I would definitely revisit, just to look, if I found myself in the area again. Or, if they revealed a collection of vintage evening gowns…
