Yawata Company

These guys are fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs painting or power washing of any kind. I haven’t used them for drywall repair yet because frankly I wanted to see how they’d completed these first projects for me and honestly, just from the professionalism they showed when they arrived to do the estimate I could tell they were reputable. I’d also seen their results on Unilocal.I will have them do drywall repair, but now that I’m familiar with them I’ve decided to expand the number of rooms/​issues/​projects I need help with.
They powerwashed my house and deck, painted the exterior shutters and then painted the deck and caulked the windows. Note they checked all the windows first and THEN only charged me for those they did! Most companies will just flat out charge you and not even bother checking first.
Everyone who worked with us on this project was incredibly professional, polite and extremely prompt. If they say they’ll be there at 0800hrs then they will be there. I was out of the country when they performed most of the work and they were excellent about keeping me informed about scheduling as the rain caused a delay.
This is our go-​to company when we have projects that they service.

I called four times over the course of a week and could not get them to return my telephone call.

Javier recently sanded and stained our deck. He did an excellent job. Showed up as promised and the deck looks great. I would definitely use him again.

We had Javier refinish our deck last fall and after the wonderfuly professional and meticulous job he performed, we wanted to have him back to paint the trim and shutters on the exterior of our townhome. Once again, Javier and his team gave us a beatifully finished job! He was able (unlike many companies) to reach our fourth floor and caulk/​paint around a window that was in desparate need of repair. The front and side of our home look brand new, and Javier came thorugh with a superb result. He is also one of the nicest and most thorough contractors with whom we have ever worked. We will continue to use Yawata Company. we give him an A+!

I have used the Yawata Company three times now for their painting services. They left me impressed each and every time. The first time I used Yawata they helped me paint the interior of my townhouse right as I was getting ready to put it on the market. Our Realtor stated many compliments were given about the quality of the paint work. The second time I had Yawata out they helped me complete a room I was working on while finishing the basement in my new home. They even went out of their way to pick up an extra piece of drywall on their way to my house. After I put the framing and drywall up Yawata took over. They completed applying joint compound, sanding, and then painting the entire room. Everything turned out great as not one seam was visible. I had Yawata out again this weekend to paint the entire first floor of my home. Just like the previous two times, they did not disappoint. They took extra care covering all of the floors and my belongings. The paint work was top notch as per usual. I highly recommend Yawata Company and will continue using them in the future.

I live in a HOA, (Home Owners Association), like thousands of us in Ashburn. I received a letter from our HOA that I had some moss on the upper back side of my home, on the vinyl siding. Yawata came out and did the entire house in an hour, the patio and back stairs to boot. Fairly priced, honest, good work. I will use them again.

After using the web site to request an appointment, waiting a week, and calling three times over the course of another two weeks, no one bothered to contact me and no appointment was made. The phone was never answered and the voicemail was a strangely generic and automated «you’ve reached» followed by the phone number. I left messages but did not get any calls back. No name to tell me I even had the correct number (which I independently verified as the right phone number).
A professional would at LEAST get in touch. I was really looking forward to having this well reviewed company paint my home. It appears that they don’t want my business.

I recently got my basement and a stairway painted, not only they showed on time but they went the extra mile on making sure paint was done to perfection, I totally recommend Yawata Company, no hidden charges, clean work, they covered my furniture and carpet. I would definitely use them again.

Javier and Hideki did a lot of work at my DC townhouse. They painted the entire inside and outside, replaced my staircase, remodeled and tiled a full bathroom and a powder room, did molding and trim throughout the entire house, and did some outside landscaping. They did excellent work in a very timely manner. I would use them again, and would highly recommend them.

I would recommend these guys over and over again! They did an amazing job with pressure washing our house. They walked us through and showed us some problem areas and how to mitigate issues moving forward. They were quick too.

One of the cool things about them is their team gave suggestions on how to enhance the look and pointed out things I didn’t notice but am now taking action on. Such as modern outlet covers to match the paint and few other small things.
