The only reason I give them 2 stars is because they gave my brother a good price on his system and installation, for the less than professional installation we see why he got such a good price, less than up to par service is not acceptable, paying full price was not a problem, just do the job.

They should take lessons on how to answer the phone because they were so rude my call lasted less than 50 seconds.

Best equipment in town but run by the worst person. last 15 years I’ve came down atleast 20 times for estimates but never purchase from them because of thier know it all attitude and how they talk to me, just worst customer support. I want to replace all speaker in my car but they won’t because it’s doesn’t sound blown. I think I know what a blown speaker sounds like, like crap. But it’s because I’m trying to make the speaker do more then what it’s supposed to do? It shouldn’t sound like crap at a neutral setting home and the solution is not to buy a subwoofer. No I want new speakers all around but nope

Very helpful and knowledgeable I got exactly what I needed done on my truck with out any b.s. They installed a backup camera in my truck when others in town didn’t want to help at all.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! They clearly don’t know quality. Took my new 2014 Accord to them to have them install my 6 ½ in the front doors and a 5 ch amp and sub in the trunk. The manager took my info so he could run a few numbers to give me a quote. In the store he told me that labor is $ 80 an hour (told the customer before me that labor was $ 70 an hr) and that I would need to buy a new amp as well as a processor just to install the front 6 ½s. Took the same stuff to audio xperts in Vacaville and they could do it the same day and I didn’t have to buy a processor. Talked to Scott at AX and decided to get a processor. So much happier with Audio Xperts!!! They have quality product and expertise as well as the confidence to handle anything. I am not payed to say this. I’m just a customer who was extremely disappointed with APS. By the way still have not received a quote from APS and its been two weeks. STAY AWAY!

At the end of the day, APS is the place to go if you need any help in general with your car audio and appearance appliances, even window tinting. Robert is amazing he teaches as well as disciplines his customers with care. I had 4 Phoenix gold car speakers and a kenwood eXcelon stereo installed last year it’s still running great and I can always go to him with questions and concerns about my car. Everyone should go here.

They’re expensive but really do excellent work. No shortcuts. Had fog lamps, amp, deck and speakers installed. Very cleanly done.

Rob and his partner did a TOP SHELF job on my install! Told Rob what I was looking for and he knew exactly what would work for me. We put some stuff together and after they completed the install I was EXTREMELY impressed! Got what I was looking for plus more. I was skeptical at first as I had never really had any problems with an install before. These guys put in about 4 – 5 hours extra labor to troubleshoot my problem and once it was pinpointed they upgraded me for next to nothing. I would trust them to do any install from head unit to custom fabrication. I had a chance to peek at some of their other projects and they were amazing.

I’ve always wanted to have slappy slap in my car but never got too serious in researching subs, amps, or any of that stuff. I was tempted to get something at BestBuy but then I realized how sloppy the techs can get when installing anything into a car (just like the tattoo parlor that was in the mall, don’t trust any services from Solano mall). My coworker referred me to APS after he told me that buying subs and all the gadgets are one thing, but the installation and service is completely another.
I randomly walked in about two hours before they closed and had no idea what types of questions to ask, the sizes I wanted, and where I wanted to place the sub in my car. Fortunately Robert was able to walk me down everything and helped me figure out what kind of sub I wanted, box, and amp. I was really surprised with his knowledge and how he was able to teach me the techniques manufacturers use in setting up stock speakers and how that would effect the sound of the bass.
I was surprised with how fast they were able to get me into their schedule. The next day at ten in the morning was awesome!
Hours went by and I was able to get my car back. The techs were awesome and friendly. They gave me a quick run down of how things worked and tested the subs out with me.
I’m super happy with their service!

I’ve been coming back to this place for over ten years. I have to admit though, the first time I walked in to this place, I walked in and walked right out. Wasn’t impressed at all. However, after doing some research about their product and installation service, I decided to give them a shot.
A decade later and four cars later, as much as I look around at other shops, I still keep coming back. Could I get my stuff done somewhere else and save a few bucks? Yes… But I have learned the hard way that saving a few bucks can end up costing you more in the end.
I’m my current set up in my Honda accord, I was pleasantly surprised at the custom amp rack they did for me (which I didn’t even ask for). The install is super clean and tastefully done. I get complements on it whenever someone happens to peak in my trunk.
Bottom line, quality product and quality installs.

The service here is beyond first rate. Robert, the owner you keep reading about, is one of the most incredible resources concerning all things audio that I have encountered in my 30+ years of purchasing audio equipment. First, he LISTENS. He finds out what your circumstance is, how much you know about audio, then he consults WITH you on what will meet your needs. If you have suffered through some of the «Big Box» stores trying to sell you what you don’t want/​need, having someone who will attempt to address your concerns, without talking down to you, before making a sale is a refreshing change.
I had completely screwed up my wife’s car trying to get sound installed elsewhere on the cheap. Robert and his staff saved me from my ignorance, stayed within my budget and tricked out my wife’s ride proper! Prior to installation, Robert outlined what would work and how it would sound in our vehicle and when they were finished it sounded exactly like he had described it. Quality merchandise, commonsense discussion, first rate installation. Even if you have to drive a bit to get your stereo installed here… DO IT!

I have had my other car done with Robert back in 1998 and back then he did a great job and never had any problems whatsoever, with that being said I took my car in to him at his newer location and his knowledge is impressive and he did quote me 3 hours but to my suprise, my car was done in 2! Robert even asked if I needed a ride anywhere, while I waited. Now, what person or shop offers that? Robert is great at what he does and he makes you feel very welcome and like part of his audio family. He has won my business from now on. Thanks again Robert!

After doing much research and being unsure of what I wanted to put in to my new Harley for a stereo upgrade, I came across Audio & Performance Systems as an authorized dealer for ARC Audio. I called and ended up speaking with Robert, the owner, and he was extremely helpful — taking the time to ask me what I was looking for, not telling me what I needed. I’ve seen a couple of negative reviews for these guys on Unilocal and I don’t get it… not my experience at all. Price? You get what you pay for — that’s always been my opinion.
After talking with Robert on the phone, he said come on by and he’ll let me hear in person the set up I was looking for. He never tried to up-​sell, or talk me in to another brand. I ended up leaving with the amp I wanted and the wiring harness only, as I already had speakers, but he did take the time to show me some speaker alternatives in case I changed my mind — again, no pressure to buy anything other than what I asked for. I came back two days later for the speakers he suggested because the service I received the first time in, made it worth my time to go back and not go to a big box store and save twenty minutes and a few bucks. When I came back, he even took the time to talk to me about the settings on the amp for the speakers I bought — pretty nice in my opinion, since he was not making anything on the install…
End result? A kick a$$ stereo system in my Street Glide that I am completely happy with. Robert was a pleasure to deal with and I will definitely recommend A&PS to anyone who needs an upgrade.

Nothing but good things to say about these guys, came in today to replace the front speakers on my Harley, should me the good ones said they would stand up better to the abuse I was planing on putting them

Audio and Performance Systems is exactly what’d you expect out of their name. Aps carries all types of brands and very reliable brands as well.
I just purchased a Pioneer p2300dvd from them and got it cheaper then crutchfield, walmart and two other sources I checked before coming into aps.
Great service from Robert (I think that was his name, we got into such a conversation I forgot to ask lol) and the price of labor was not bad.
All in all this probably is the only place in fairfield i’d shop for car audio and possibly anything else I need to get my truck to my liking (as far as aftermarket aesthetics are concerned).
If your looking for walmart price, expect walmart quality, if your looking for perfromance and value head to aps you won’t be disappointed.

I just had an adapter installed for my Droid Charge. I couldn’t be happier with the price, product, and service.
These guys got the part for my car, and installed it in one day. I went in originally planning on just having these guys do the install after I ordered the part on-​line. They got the part at the same price… and got it installed faster than what it would have taken me to have it shipped online.
It works great. The labor was one hour. I couldn’t be happier.

First time ever having to pay for tint. U get what u pay for and like always APS is the best at what they do. Im all about quality. Again APS will always get my business!

Stay Away… rude as can be and way over priced… walked in… got nothing but attitude and a estimate of $ 300 to do an install… walked out…
Went to Audio 2 Go and got the same install for $ 160…
Yeah this place just sucks…
