History

Established in 2003.

AGLD began as a landscape design and installation firm in 2003, the following year the company expanded to provide landscape and lawn maintenance services with the acquisition of Lawn Care of Fairfield, LLC, a landscape firm with over forty-​five years of service to both commercial and residential properties. Several years later in 2008 AGLD expanded its range of design services to include Landscape Architecture services. 2012 saw the addition of Professional Services Division, which offers landscape services to other design and construction professionals, their clients and realtors. Austin Ganim Landscape Design, LLC provides quality landscape design, installation and maintenance services to residential and commercial properties of all sizes.

Austin Ganim — Eva Chiamulera, ASLA, PLA

Austin Ganim grew up in the aisles of Ganim’s Garden Center, providing him with exposure to all aspects of the nursery business. After completing a degree in Horticulture from the University of Connecticut Austin expanded the garden centers repertoire to include landscape design & installation services by establishing Austin Ganim Landscape Design, LLC in 2003, later expanding into landscape maintenance. The addition of Eva Chiamulera expanded the companies’ offerings to include Landscape Architecture. A graduate of Cornell, Eva’s prior experiences range from intimate garden rooms to large estates. Together their design philosophy is based on practical knowledge & years of hands on horticultural experience. Their backgrounds in horticulture, garden design, historic preservation and landscape architecture provide a unique & extensive plant & materials palette to draw from, allowing us to create elegant combinations of colors & textures.
