Went to get a oil change today. Showed up at 12:30. There was a sign on the garage that said they would be back at 1:30. Figured this was reasonable since it was lunch time. Come back around 1pm waited a half hour, until an older employee come out saying the sign now says 2:30. On top of that they don’t carry the oil filter for my car. So now I have to call groupon since I bought a deal from them to refund my money. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It must be true that you get what you pay for.

I had been coming here for years when it was Oil Can Henry’s, but yesterday I went and first there was a sign saying «be back at 1:45″. this was at 11:30 am… Went back at 2PM the
same day only to be told that they didn’t have synthetic oil until today, I never used synthetic
oil in my vehicle. Went today and the guy came up to my car and preceded to tell me that
they didn’t have the oil filter for my vehicle. I asked him is there a reason why he didn’t want
to do my car since I got something different yesterday. He said no mam its not personal,
but I don’t have the filter didn’t have it yesterday either, I said yesterday it was the oil, that
I never used in my vehicle. Then I said boy this place has sure gone down hill since it
changed names, and he said „I agree“». If you are a full service shop, keep your
supplies stocked. Yesterday I was given a lame excuse why they didn’t have it because
of the holiday which is on Monday, not one that has already passed. I won’t be returning
and won’t be recommending either, no matter how nice the techs are.

Owner never on premises, doesn’t return calls or emails. My CTS was serviced by a technician/​mechanic who used regular motor oil instead of synthetic oil (Mobil1) resulting in damage to my vehicle which repairs cost $ 1300! Not only was I charged over $ 220 for this ‘oil change’, the stores computer showed an invoice that said I was charged $ 65.00!!! Do yourself a favor and avoid hurting someone, stay away from this place!!! Lawsuit pending!!!

I’m not writing this review due to poor service I’m writing this review due to poor management I have come to this location before it was big red as it was oil change Henry’s and they’ve been servicing my car now going on five years never ever had a problem any issues that came up were fixed immediately addressed to me and we figured out a way today is the second time this week that I’ve been to this location after I purchased a Groupon for an oil change. I need high mileage oil and with a Groupon I have to pay a difference which is not a problem but when you go to an oil change place and they don’t have the oil you need and that is their main focus there’s a problem. I came by Tuesday morning no high mileage oil or synthetic oil I was told I can try back or call back later in the afternoon to see if they had gotten their shipment called back after 2 p.m. no oil so that means I can’t even come in Wednesday morning and try to get an oil change here it is Friday morning figuring they’ve had three and a half days to get some oil still don’t have high mileage oil I am in need of an oil change if I would have known there wouldn’t be any oil I wouldn’t have purchased a Groupon and would not have a problem going somewhere else so now I have to go somewhere else paid more money and I’m stuck with a Groupon I cannot use. I’m not saying avoid this place because they are really good when it comes to servicing your car and they have great customer service but when you can’t get an oil change because there’s no oil a place that focuses on changing oil there’s an issue.

Stay Away From This Place. Just Cost Me $ 360.00 For A New Oil Pan. Owner Never Answered My Phone Call or Letters.

Service is poor here. They gone mess my damn car up so now I have to find a new oil change place with real professional staff that knows what they doing. First time th eery ever put air in my tires and I been coming here for a year now. Straight bs.

I would like to give a better review but I could not even get my oil changed.
When I drove up I noticed the last roll up door was coming down so I drove around to the other side. Sure enough both of those doors were down too. Did I get there to late?
I looked around for the sign with their hours. There it is! Mon-​Fri hours they close at 6pm. I look at my phone and it is 4:20 in the afternoon.
They have a large banner hanging with the phone number so I called it. I asked if they were open and I was told no, but when I said their sign says they close at 6pm, and I was sitting right outside, there was a pause and I heard some talking in the background. I was told a second time they were closed. So I left.
Needless to say the service was bad even when I did not get any work performed. That is truly the sign of poor customer service.
I will not be going back to this place.

Daryl was good. They where a bit short staffed for a Saturday but they got me in and out in a fair amount of time for an oil change. Good customer service. It was refreshing to see the two guys working together well, both where busy but they asked each other if they could do anything to help on an other, that was nice to see.

Ken hooked me up with all the fluids that my truck needed. He even taught me that my truck used atf fluid in the power steering resevoir. He took the time to explain the other fluid needs as well. Good customer service is a rare find these days. They did an oustanding job today. I will definately come back when I need more services done. We’ll done, Ken. Thank you!

I should have listened to Unilocal!The first time I came here there was one person in front of me and the girl came up to my window asking me to come back because they were busy… I shouldn’t have cam back, but I did. I bought a groupon (which I’m getting a refund) and today the same girl says oh your car requires a special oil that will cost $ 90… My average cost of oil changes have been $ 40 since I bought the car. My car is in perfect condition it’s a 2010 Corolla, and I feel they just didn’t want to honor the groupon. So I’ve now driven from Vacaville to Fairfield twice only to be turned away. I’m not sure if they just don’t want to honor the groupon or what? But my car is the basic model and my oil changes cost $ 40… I know for a fact that the other places I’ve been have not ALL been using the wrong oil, and this place is the only one that would charge $ 90. I should have known when they turned me away the first time DO NOT BUY A GROUPON FOR THIS COMPANY! Luckily groupon provides more honest service, so they reversed the charge immediately! Not to mention I was heading out of town today and now wasted over an hour of my morning to be lied to straight to my face. I’m going to update this review when I get to the next place, and they charge $ 40 to prove my point. Just because I am a girl doesn’t mean I’m stupid when it comes to MY cars upkeep. I get oil changes regularly, and what are the chances the place I have a coupon for is all of a sudden charging twice the price. — — - update — - just got my oil changed at Jiffy Lube… Charged me $ 42 and said this place is a scam and lied to me as I assumed! Also, groupon refunded me because they indicated in their email I’m not the first person to request it for the same reason! So please don’t waste your time and gas like I did coming to this place! I do feel better now knowing for a fact they tried to scam me and it was confirmed the same day by another place.

Found a Groupon, (also other coupons) for BIG $ off an oil change. Got a Synthetic oil change for $ 64. They make SURE that you get the oil you need, and check everything, including the air in your tire. Yes, as all of them do, they ask you if you want other products. I brought my own DuraLube additive, and cut the # of quarts of Synthetic Oil I had to buy. ProLong is the other additive that I’d recommend. Very nice guys working there. Very efficient, pretty quick service.

So I’m sitting here right now getting my oil changed again. So far, so so. The technicians who are here now are not any that I’ve seen before and they’re no where near as friendly and engaging as the other two who I worked with in the past…
My 24.99 oil change coupon was accepted as a discount on my synthetic oil change service (91k). This also happened the last time I came. Mind you I got synthetic since I was told by that technician, it’s what my dealer was using under my warranty.
Upon checking my mileage, I was told that I was way past my service and they needed to do some sort of cleaning ($ 60) in order for it to appear that my oil had been changed. What was most interesting to me is that this didn’t seem to be an issue upon initial inspection of the oil. Further, the first time I came to this shop (it was more than 10k past my previous change), I was told I only needed to top off. I was informed this is because synthetics perform better over longer periods, so they sold me $ 5 worth of oil and told me to wait until the light came on.
Subsequently, the light came on about 10 days later (maybe around 500mi) at which point I was told again that my oil was still good. This happened on several more occasions before they felt I actually needed an oil change. As a result of their apparent honesty, I also also got my air filter changed by them, and some other services. And was happy to come back to them «the next time the light comes on». So to consider that my light came on just last week, I was surprised to be told that I was «way over due» and this additional service was necessary for my oil to appear clean.
In any case, the «new oils» (two different brands, Mobil & something else, were poured — rather sloppily, as some dripped from the funnel under the hood each time) «looks good» according to the technician. I got my additional service recommendations, so I’m outta here… And since it was mostly the warm and welcoming *5-​star* customer service that made me a return customer even though there were other obstacles to me getting service here the three times I came by last week and no one so much as smiled at me today, I’m not sure I’ll make that many attempts on the next occasion…

I can’t rate their service because they would not honor the 24.95 coupon I had for up to 5 quarts and a filter. My tundra uses 5W30 or 5W30, common, yet they told me they only carry that weight in synthetic and it would cost me 79.9. NO WAY I’m paying that for an oil change. I will do it myself for under 20.

Really irritated with the service been here twice this week out of oil 530 for my particular car and this is just not OK. I hate to give such a bad review but it’s an inconvenience when they’re out of oil then they tell me to give me $ 10 discount are you serious

Donnell was great man, 5 stars earned. Got my oil changed quick and was shown step by step the process. Everything went smooth for a great price. Thanks to Donnel and David for the pleasant experience.

We arrived at 8:00 when they were supposed to open. Waited 10 minutes then left. Returned at 9:30 and they were open. The service was quick, but they didn’t wash the windshield or check the tires, which is supposed to be part of the service. They also missed a burned out bulb that I would like to have had replaced. I think they were too concerned about selling me a $ 60 engine flush. At least I had a group-​on that gave me a discount.

Not sure who helped me but I was there on ⁴⁄₂₂ @ around 1pm getting an oil change and wiper replacement. The young man was very proffesional and engaged in what he was doing. It was clear they have an excellent training program because everyone was consistent.
All in all a great experiance, I will be back!

First of all on a positive note the young man Michael who assisted me had excellent customer service skills and was very professional! The bad news is that I’ve been coming here for years even under the old name Oil Can Henry’s and this time I used a Groupon and I got the one with the oil change plus a car wash .when I asked for my coupon for the car wash before leaving the manager or the person in charge there had a new receipt reprinted charging me extra $ 6 in addition to my Groupon for the car wash. The groupon already included the car wash. at this point I had already had my oil changed and was stuck. I either leave without a coupon for the car wash or a cough up an extra $ 6 on a car wash that was already paid for. What started off as great service ended terrible.

I have sent an email about my experience. To Owner, comments dept & customer service dept… Not one reply back from any! So much for your outstanding Customer Service! At least Better Business Bureau acknowledged my email! As they say. «Tell a Friend»

Usually had good experiences here when it was oil can Henrys. The service here was completely unacceptable by the evening staffed I waited at least 30 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Only to be told that they couldn’t do my oil change with an hour left until closing REALLY??? I guess back to Jiffy Lube I go if I’m going to wait 30 minutes at least I’ll have water and coffee. What kind of business closes up shop basically an hour before their scheduled time makes you wait half an hour and then denies your service. Really unprofessional
