Bornstein Sons was one of the first contractors in New Jersey to install the then mandated ‘ozone friendly’ refrigerant systems for central air conditioning. Today we’re on the forefront installing technologies to improve the air quality in your home & business customers rely on us for their HVAC maintenance. We maintain systems & offer filter change programs.

Business Owner

Richard E. Fertel, President, is a graduate of the City University of New York and Lincoln Technical Institute and has completed many post graduate business and technical courses. Following through each year as required, Richard vigorously completes course updates as mandated by the New Jersey State Licensing Bureaus. Richard holds all licenses for the organization and is constantly updating his expertise, obtaining new certifications and approaches advances with a quest for knowledge. He has taught several technical and business courses over the years and lectured for The Electrical Contractor’s Association. Richard’s main function is overseeing all mechanical installations, meeting with customers for the purpose of providing estimates and contracting all work that passes through the company’s schedule. His day-​to-​day involvement keeps his hands on the «pulse» of the business. Richard is never more than a phone call away and constantly involved in all business activities. Customers a
