Office staff was surprisingly rude from the start. After being owners for many years, we had a short sale and had to rent for a couple years. Boy, it was a lousy experience dealing with Camellia. After a year, I called Roxanne Stine to see if the owner was interested in an offer to buy the home we were renting, and she rudely stated, «I don’t even know who this is.» Wow… Nice way to ask for my information. She never even called us back. Later on, when I told Charlie(who is actually a pretty nice guy) that we were sad the owner didn’t want to hear our offer, he was surprised and obviously never even been given the message. He asked if we were still interested, but we already had an offer in on another house(it was nearly two months after we talked to Roxanne). Our agent who helped us buy our house told us Camellia had a bad reputation, and I can see why.

My dad and I have rented a home from Camellia for the past year. We are very happy.

I rented a property through them for two years. Everything was going well(maintenance issues were handled in a timely manner) until it was time to move. I had the pre-inspection and was told what to fix. Well apparently this did not really matter because I was still charged for things. After trying to dispute rent with one person, I was finally forwarded to the property Manager Charlie and he has yet to return my call. I guess ignoring an issue is a way of handling it? It’s funny how you see a company’s true colors when that security deposit is due back. I cleaned my place Very well and to still be charged is a complete joke. There are other rental agencies in the area that I would investigate before renting with Camelia. You’ve been warned.

Wow, rude office staff. Even if I see a property I am interested in I will not rent from them.
