Comcast Service Center

Very poor customer service. had two false alarms that they blamed on everything but their equipment. Do not install their home monitoring system.

Have I mentioned how much I hate COMCAST lately? I recently received another monthly bill, and for the third straight month I had to call Customer Service to get it fixed. This time, they tried to add a $ 10 monthly charge for modem rental. I bought my own modem last year, and I haven’t had to pay for their modem since I started with them in January. Now, they again try to charge me for it. I called and a very nice young man agreed that I shouldn’t have to pay for it and said he’d fix it. He offered coupons to make up for my troubles, and said I could use them to pay for part of the next bill. We’ll see…
I also noticed a fee for increasing my internet speed from 75 MPS to 150 MPS. I didn’t request this, and don’t want to pay the extra $ 15 per month. Don’t know if that has been resolved, I guess I’ll see next month.
Also, as we were speaking, I lost internet access. When I got back on line and on the comcast site, I noticed my account showed that I have X-​finity TV. I mentioned it to Marvin, but he insisted my account doesn’t show any such service. I’ve been waiting to chat with a representative on line, so I may have some sort of written documentation, if comcast tries to bill me for this service.
I hate this company. I wish there was an alternative to get reliable internet in Vacaville (AT&T doesn’t work well in our home). Oh, well, I guess I’ll keep looking.

It is insane how bad Comcast is. They won’t even let me return my modem for some reason and are charging it for me monthly anyway even though I cancelled my internet service with them. Scam artists

If i could give negative stars, i would. Customer service sucks, their service sucks, and there really isn’t much we can do about it. Service is always going out and so is internet, yet they still expect us to pay for a full month. They put out these commercials about the other guys over charging but they do the same thing. As soon as my contract was up they doubled the cost. Just putting my time in, once i move I’m going over to direct tv.

Bad customer service was put on hold for 20 mins would have been much longer but i hung up. I was never told about a appointment to come to my house. The X1 box has a lot of technical issues. This all started after a Comcast employee offered the new X1 box to us in exchanged for our old equipment. no extra charge, no brainier right? wrong its been a total nightmare, i get home to install it and doesn’t work. I call Comcast and they tell me it won’t work until they hook up a «filter» outside the house and that someone is scheduled to be at my house at 8 am okay great but i won’t be here i have to take my daughter to school and have er-​ins to run. Comcast tells me no has to be home that they just do it. i tell her yea right i have dogs in back they probably won’t just go back. i was right they won’t go back if you have dogs. so i had to wait till afternoon so that i would be here to lock the dogs up while they installed the filter. they installed it, did not check to see if it was working before they left. and of course when i turn it on it did not work. so i had to call again and wait another day with no cable. the next day a guy should up got it working i loved it and happy it works. then like a day in half later the on-​demand function stops working and soon after it lost all connection. by the way the second guy said he was going to charge 70 dollars for coming out and i was like no that’s not fair so he said they would not charge it. well got the email yesterday that they charge it anyway so the guy pretty much lied to my face. i was on the phone with them all morning yesterday and it was horrible ii got switched around to 5 different people who all say different things and pass me along to the next person as if they didn’t know what to do. after all that i stuck waiting another week with no cable that i have been paying monthly to for about 3 year now. so it doesn’t matter if you are a long time customer Comcast does not care about their customers. i ended with a couple payper view movie coupons and 100 off my bill too, but i still don’t think I’ve been treated fairly. i would go to att but they not service my area :(plus i’am in the middle of my second 2 year contract with Comcast. i’am mentally drained from dealing with this crap :(

Service was great. Comcast sent me the wrong cable box, which they figured out over the phone in about 20 minutes. I stopped by the service center to exchange the box. In and out in 20 minutes. It felt like the DMV, but with a shorter wait time.

If I could give Comcast a zero I would. So this review is not about this service center but Comcast service over the phone. They are clue less! I’ve spent the last two days trying to get WiFi at my mother’s house. The customer service people. Kept me on the phone for hours. Not fixing a thing! Then had me replace the modem. Which meant driving to Fairfield. Then of course that did not solve the problem. And the modem the new modem would not accept their password key. Long story short. They said they would have a service rep at my house between 9am & noon. But nobody showed up!!! Waisting my time seems to be their claim to fame.

Absolutely the worst service ever. They lied about my contract, also they lied about my service.

My review is not about this particular service center. I always receive great service when I go into this location.
My review is about the poor customer service Comcast has in general. They give you very inconvenient time windows as to when they’ll show up (8am-​8pm) ARE YOU KIDDING?! I’m suppose to wait around for 12 hours for your service???
It doesn’t help that the representatives on the phone are rude and disrespectful.
If Direct TV bundled their service with internet, I would absolutely go with them.

The worst service we have ever had. Started with the worthless technician. Omg. Showed up a day early, insisted I was mistaken, NOT! TOO lazy to connect the upstairs tv’s. Said we need an electrician to drop a wire. Dish had no problem connecting all tv’s. Should have escorted him out right then and there. Have had nothing but problems with the two tv’s he was able to connect. You would think they PAY ME! Not hardly. I pay 40.00 more than quoted. Said that was my fault for not having it in writing. Stuck with crooks for two MORE. Years. Take pleasure in telling them how worthless they“are. THEY JUST DONT CARE!!! DONT. GET SUCKED. IN!!!

They lie to you about how much your bill will be to lock you in a two year contract. Tried calling the retention center to ask for a supervisor and they refuse to get a supervisor on the phone. Absolutely the worst, lying, worthless people in customer service. I hate Comcast so much. Don’t use Comcast. If you can find another cable company and save yourself some heartache.

Comcast technical support is the f*cking worst!!! My parents were trying to fix their phone line because it wasn’t working. I was taking a nap at the time and overheard how rude and demeaning he was towards my parents. He sounded like he was belittling them and that they were stupid for not understanding his instructions, when clearly he was not easy to understand. John from Comcast, go stick up a fist up ur ass. I gave him my two cents for speaking to my parents the way he did. Sorry just venting. But how freaking rude!!! I HATE COMCAST!
This review isn’t towards my local Comcast office but just for Comcast in general… Ugh do they even deserve one star?

My box just goes out and has to reset right in the middle of watching a show. Then I wait for the guide «To Be Announced». I’ve unplugged and taken the box back. Called three times recently and was told to trade for another box. So done with Comcast and ready for another service!

I have always had an amazing experience with Comcast. We moved back to out of state and knew that we had to have Comcast. The other state didn’t had it and we found ourselves, overpaying and being cheated on pricing etc. It was a nightmare. Coming back to Comcast felt great, as for the 7 years we had it we never had one single problem. The street we moved to, had very bad internet reception. Once call fixed it — they came within 2 days 3 times, replaced cables and did everything possible to get it fixed. They are also the only company that gives you time window when they will be at your place. Good luck finding that in any other company. Also the local office was great setting us up and giving us the best deal to start the service.

Horrible and rude agents in fairfield office! Some speak to you as if you are in primary school! No one should talk to any one like that. You call their 1 – 800 #, and some of your agents put you on hold then hang up. WTH!!! Shame on you comfcast for charging people loads of $$$, having monopoly over the cable industry, yet you can’t train professional people.

Worst service ever. Paying for the blast package thats 105mbs but it only runs at 17mbs its so slow my phone runs faster!

Comcast has by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I just moved into a new house and needed them to come out and set up service. The first time I called they told me my address didn’t exist and that they would need to call me back… never heard from them so I call again. Now they send someone out, but he isn’t a technician, the man was very nice but realized they should’ve sent a technician instead. I call again to get a technician to come out, at this point it has been 5 days since I moved in when I originally called a 2 weeks before I moved in. They tell me they can fix the problem over the phone and that they just need to clear some things up with billing first… again, never hear back from them so I call again. They finally agree to send out a technician 5 days from the call. The technician comes out and finally sets up the internet, but asks me if I have a cable plan bundle (I have always had just internet from them for 39.99 a month). He informs me that the technician over the phone has taken the liberty of signing me up for a 79.99 a month plan for cable and internet without my consent. I have him remove it and get me back to my original plan.
Just when I finally think all has been resolved I get an automated message this morning informing me that I need to return my cable box (the one I dont have because I never had a cable plan) or they will forward it to collections. Keep in mind this is not the first time they have done this to me… recently I applied for a new credit card with a company I have been using for a long time and they told me they could not give it to me because I had a outstanding collection on my account, come to find out it was Comcast that forwarded something to collections without ever even contacting me to ask about the item… again, an item I didn’t have and they «sent» to me by mistake.
I have never had so many issues with a company as I have had with Comcast. Unfortunately, when you call them to get something cleared up you get forwarded to an outsourced phone technician help line in which every employee knows practically nothing about fixing your product, they just follow an online checklist.

Horrible customer service and a bunch of liars! Called four times to get a installation charge removed and they kept saying they were going to take care of it. Originally the technician came out to install and he didn’t install but on the work ordered he claimed he installed. Dishonest employees getting paid when he didn’t do his job. And the customer service people said I had to prove he didn’t do anything. It was stupidest thing I ever heard. Did he prove he came out to my house to install because he sure didn’t! I used the same box and everything the switch was not on! Some idiot before that came and turned it off the month before.

Comcast is one of the worst, most unprofessional companies I’ve EVER dealt with. Signed up for cable, they send 2 guys over on 2 different occasions, they looked like they were in high school. They had no clue what they were doing, they both drilled holes in my walls/​floors & left huge amounts of cable just hanging out in our backyard for my child to trip over. The holes were so big that bugs & all kinds of critters could crawl through. Worst than that was the customer service line that you call, they could care less about anything you have to say & they argue with you about everything! I cancelled within 10 days of having them, long 10 days of waisted time, agony & stress! I do NOT recommend them to anyone!!!

Wow! Lots of people upset with Comcast. Not me…
.I know I pay alot… for me bundled about $ 150.per month…
but I get GREAT service from the most polite and knowledgable people. IT IS COMPLICATED though. KNOW THIS!!! They will provide what you want but WILL charge you. You have to be careful and try and resolve all issues online… I had an issue once with wireless internet… Next thing I knew I was being charged $ 50. for a consult and $ 10. per month for tech service!!! WHOOOOOOOOOAAAAAA…ALL I had to do was press F8… I don’t think I should have been charged for that! So after talking with the CSR… All charges were removed and they reduced my bill from $ 180. per month to $ 150. per month…
I don’t understand how people can complain about Comcast… then turn around and pay about $ 75. to $ 100. a month for a cell phone?
In closing I think Comcast is the BEST high speed internet… I think it is the BEST cable TV service…(yea…the land line sucks, but hey I pay $ 25. every 3 months for a trac phone, so who cares…
In closing… I’m not rich… I watch my money. But I’ll give Comcast 5 stars for being the best… and don’t forget… YOU DO NOT HAVE CHOOSE COMCAST… you have options…
