A big turn-off for most people with healthy/vegetarian/raw food is that they won’t know whether or not they like the taste until they buy it. Health in a Hurry has samples of pretty much everything they offer, and it’s all good! I recommend the beet salad, granola, chickpea of the sea(tastes like tuna!) wrap and the groundnut stew. The owner is really knowledgeable, super friendly and willing to accommodate any dietary restriction.

This place is amazing! I was in search of some delicious vegan eats on my way home from NYC and Unilocal brought me to this gem. The owner was so helpful encouraging us to sample everything and made sure to ask us about our dietary restrictions. :0) the Chickpea of the sea wrap, raw vegan sushi, raw thai salad and all of the baked goods were our favorites but, honestly everything we tried and left with was so tasty! It is so impossible to find vegan food on the road so finding this organic spot tucked away off of 95 was a dream come trueeee!

This is a tiny take-out or pick-up shop offering simple vegetarian and vegan dishes(soups, salads, healthy desserts). The service is really friendly and I like that you can sample many of their offerings(especially the soups), but none of the food really stood out to me. I didn’t like the flavors of any of the soups offered for the day and the main dishes, which sit in plastic cases in a cooler, didn’t look appealing. I ended up getting a pretty tasty chocolate rice krispie thing as a snack. While I like the concept of Health in a Hurry, I think this place would work better if it were a small café and served hot prepared foods.

Health in a Hurry is one healthy shop that does not have location in it’s favor. It is not on the main strip, not even on a side street. It is behind a travel agency and tucked around in a corner. When you finally get to it, you feel like you found a treasure. But do not get me wrong as a foreigner, it was hard for me to find, but the entire time I was there, Health in a Hurry had a nice flow of customers. The place is a little tight, but the customer is awesome. They have a wide variety of entries and about 90% vegan menu. They also have a few desserts, which is my speciality. Apple– Ginger muffin It should have been Ginger-Apple Muffin. The ginger was so strong and powerful. Gross. It made the muffin so spicy and there was very little apple to balance it out. I do not know how you all like your muffins, but I like mine pretty sweet and moist. It was very hard on the outside, and sometimes that means that the muffin is moist on the inside. NOT. It was so crumbly and yuck. I really do not have much to say about this muffin, because it was nothing to talk about.

Be careful– If you’re not paying attention, you’ll drive right past it! Tucked in the back of a strip mall on the Post Road, Health in a Hurry is a charming, TINY little store that offers mostly-vegan variety of selections. Be aware, this is not a restaurant. You pick your items from two refrigerators and pay for it at the counter. You can see the kitchen directly behind the counter with all kinds of different vegan yummies waiting to be packaged. The owner is very warm and eager to teach newcomers about vegan food. She gives every new visitor a little tour of the shop and samples if they are available. Everything I tried was packed with flavor– inspiring if you’re having trouble coming up with ideas to add variety to your diet. There are benches and tables outside for the warmer months, but it was 30 degrees out when I visited so I ate at home.

i somehow stumbled upon this place and LOVE it. its a tiny little shop located around back in a strip mall with a tiny sandwich board sign on post road. really if you blink, you missed it. their motto is «organic vegetarian food to go» and thats what they deliver 100%. if you want to eat there, they have some tables outside(at least when its warm out) i think in the three times i have been there i have ordered everything on the menu!(i was ordering for groups of people, im really not a big organic food pig) and nothing was bad — even non vegetarians in the group were impressed by what we brought from here. this place is TOO good. really, if you are looking for organic vegetarian food you have to stop in and say hi! they are SUPER nice people! the first time i was there they gave us the run down on how things work and some free samples. a few days later, we were back. i am totally hooked.
