I Can Fix Any Pool

My husband and I came home on a Friday night to find about a foot of water missing from our pool. We noticed a crack in the fiberglass and started calling pool repair places. All businesses were closed. Don was the only person to respond and came out Saturday morning to take a look. We were presented with several options ranging from a quick, temporary fix, a permanent quick fix or a complete renovation. We decided on the latter and had our pool deck redone and the fiberglass pool refurbished. Don, Jose and the whole crew were efficient and friendly. They kept us informed of the work and set backs that came up. I think the crew index up with more than they bargained for but pushed through and cut NO corners. Our pool looks beautiful and we absolutely love the new concrete pool deck. I definitely recommend «I CAN FIX ANY POOL.» They really can! Thank you so much, Don, Jose and everyone who worked on our pool. We love it!

Don starts out as being very friendly and accommodating. His crew did an amazing job on our pool, despite Don’s errors in calculating the costs for repair. He kept wanting to add on more and more in order to escalate the price. Overall, the work was done very well, but I don’t think Don is cut out to manage a business. When things don’t go as planned, he panics and loses his temper with his crew, which I felt was very unprofessional. He underestimated our pricing and then tried to add on later. In the end, he got extremely upset when we gave him half the payment, with the promise to give him the remainder the following week. He was very demanding and started to get upset. As a result, I mailed him a check for the full balance, and then realized I had written the check from the wrong account. I texted him immediately to let him know, but he had already deposited in his account. I told him to stop by and I would give him the replacement check. He never showed up, and then began to text me and demand that I drive to Fairfield and give him a check. He then proceeded with a texting war on how he was going to sue me and call the sheriff, etc. I was stunned. I understand the inconvenience of not getting his payment right away. We’re talking a few days, not weeks. He completely lost control. I’ve dealt with many small business owners and I have never experienced anyone who was so unprofessional. I understand he is a small business and relies on his customers to pay him immediately. In our case, it was a mistake on my part to write my check from the wrong account, but we are not dishonest people. I didn’t appreciate being harassed by him, and I’m sure once he reads and responds to this review, you’ll see what I mean. I’m not saying to not use him, as his crew did a very nice job. I’m just saying that you should tread lightly when dealing with him, hold him to his estimate, and make sure you clearly communicate what you need, or he’ll get confused. He’s a nice man, just not meant to run a business. Best of luck to you…

My pool was green for weeks! We used all kinds of chemicals and it remained green! After noticing air bubbles in the pump, I called Don and left a vm. He called me back right away. Scheduled a service call and came out right on time. He fixed the air leaks and gave me instructions on how to get my pool crystal clear again! I was using the wrong kind and amounts of chemicals. He also gave me the number of a pool chemical service company who could do the job for me. I bought the chemicals he recommended myself and put them in. Omg! I Love this man! My pool is crystal clear now! No more leaks, no more green pool, happy summer! I’m so thankful for his service and expertise! He and his sidekick, Belle r welcome at our home anytime! And I’m so glad to have someone to call when pool issues arise! Thanks again Don!

We called Don to repair our pool after it started loosing water suddenly. Not only did he come out promptly, but the repairs, which included ordering a new liner, happened within 2 weeks. He is an expert and his staff is very professional. We are very happy and can’t thank them enough for the service they provided.

I really think this company should halt their business efforts. Their operation is beyond unprofessional, and have no business within the pool industry. Don came out and gave a quote and couldn’t remember any of it to transfer to paper. Lindsay sends out email which attempt to capture Don’s verbal estimate. It seems that just before the contract is accepted by you, the price escalates and Don has forgotten everything. I wouldn’t trust Don to fill my pool with water!!!

When I had them come out and look at my pool I was filling it a couple times a week. Their were some obvious cracks that had developed. They gave me a couple different options and we talked over the pros and cons and he actually didn’t even recommend the most expensive one. The crew were very professional, arrived when they said they would, cleaned up, very polite and considerate. We had them replace our pump as well with a high efficiency multi speed pump which has saved us $ 80 a month itself.
It’s been four months now and the pump works great, it’s quiet and definitely saving us money. The pool looks great and all the cracks are repaired and I have only had to add water twice. We are very happy with the service they gave and the price we paid. We will definitely call them again if we need pool work done.

I was referred by my neighbor who had them remove a pool. Watching over the fence I was impressed with the job they did. You would never know there was a pool in that yard by the time they were finished. I have them come over to re-​plaster my pool. The workers were very nice, polite and did a beautiful job. My pool look like it is brand new. Dan was also very accomidating and helpful with his suggestions. We are very pleased with the results and the friendly treatment and the professional work that was delivered to us. Thank you very, very much!

I had my pool fixed by don and his crew. They went above and beyond to get the pool up and running. They were friendly and very pleasant to work with. I would recommend them and would call them back to work on my pool. Thank you for everything you and your crew did for me and my family.

I purchased a forclosure with a pool and the pool was an exceptionally large inground liner pool that was an absolute mess in every way. Needed new everything from liner to systems! Don, the owner is fabulous and has completely restored the pool and it is working beautifully and looks great! He had 2 workers on the job and it was done in one day. Don followed up with me just to make sure everything was satisfactory and when I told him the vacuum wasn’t working that he gave me (an extra perk) he brought me a brand new one! No charge! He beat all the local contractors in price by alot, not just a few dollars and he taught me how to maintain my pool so I did not have to pay someone to do it. I highly recommend I Can Fix Any Pool!

They did the work is what I can say. They resurfaced my pool buy what I was told on a time frame was a complete line of bull. I was told that I would have the whole job done in 3 days. It was more like 10 days. Then after I had filled the pool I was told that they would be out on that coming Wednesday and they never showed. I was given all the information by the owner. Long story short this guy was not very honest through the process and at the end of it tried to charge me an extra 400 $. I would stay away!
