AWESOME dress shop! Marge & Jackie were absolutely wonderful and extremely knowledgeable! Marge is the owner and been there for 50 years! Their prices are very reasonable and their sizes are varied. Marge DEFINITELY KNOWS «body shapes» and is spot on with her recommendations!##

We were shopping for a dress for my wife to attend our daughter’s wedding. My wife is very small but they took the time picked out some dresses that they said they could tailor to fit. My wife missed her fitting because she was put in the hospital. No problem, the day after her release she was pinned up and the dress will be ready by Friday.

This store is very cute. I came here because I had a tea party themed bridal shower and needed a hat. I was not dressed the best and I felt a bit judged by the woman who was helping me. I was looking at the hats and she told me that they weren’t in my price range (she never asked what that price range was), and directed me over to the headband section. I did end up buying a headband for the shower because I procrastinated and needed it for the next day, but I have regretted it ever since. I really didn’t like getting looked down upon like that. Two stars because I think they have cute stuff and I don’t think you can find stuff like it anywhere else.

I would give 3 stars if there weren’t so many dresses which had beading missing or snags in the fabric. I feel these should have been removed or repaired before customers would see that…
My stepdaughter and I visited the shop to look for a long gown to wear to a wedding the end of December. The ladies were very helpful and the shop, though packed to the gills, appears to be organized and has allot of variety in stock — both long gowns and short dresses and etc. There are many different sizes in the different gowns as well. I didn’t even get time to look at the short dresses so I will go back.
Specific to the long dresses then, many had snags in the chiffon or beading missing as I said, but more that that, the gowns just didn’t seem to fit right. Normally a size 10 the 10’s in this store I couldn’t even get on! I went up in sizes by 3. Some of those were tight in the arms while they fit generously in other areas, or were tight in the bust but fit everywhere else or were tight in the hips but fit everywhere else. You get my drift. I began to wonder if this is a seconds store and it may well be.
My stepdaughter had similar experience and while they have large stock of gowns, we left empty without even knowing what style flattered us best because we couldn’t get anything to fit well enough to make that determination.
I will return to look through the large amount of short dresses though and the ladies in the shop for very gracious and helpful.

i had a special event to attend, and needed something to wear that very night. having heard about napadashery over the years, i decided to give it a try. immediately upon entering the store i found several lovely figure flattering outfits. i have wandered around macy’s many a time looking for something that makes me look good, and gone home with nothing. well napadashery has them!!! prices from inexpensive to moderate. i highly recommend this store — its worth the trip even if you live out of town. in addition to having beautiful clothes, their personal customer service is outstanding. :)))

I have been to this shop several times after a friend mentioned it to me. The first time I’d been looking for a dress for my son’s wedding. When I went in the owner, Marge, asked about the occasion — the colors and then while I was browsing she pulled out a dress that fit me perfectly and was exactly what I was looking for! It was perfect! Long dress with fully lined jacket for about $ 150. I have gone there several time since and usually find what I’m looking for, often with her help. It is over 80 miles from my home but well worth the drive. I’m planning to go this weekend for another upcoming wedding and when I was there a few weeks ago didn’t see what I was looking for — but the person there told me Marge was due back from New York with more choices. I can’t wait!!!

It’s actually refreshing to have a seasoned saleslady tell you like it is. I think we can all agree that other stores tell you everything you try on looks great in hopes of making a sale. The owner Marge will tell you the truth and knows what style fits «your» body type! I recently purchased a dress to wear to a wedding and got it altered in store. Prices are reasonable. Napadashery is my «go to» dress shop!

This store is a secret gem. I learned about this store recently and bought many dresses for myself and my daughters for our youngest’s Bat Mitzvah. Marge owns the store and she is really amazing. She goes to New York every so often to find the best party dresses, shoes, jewelry. The pricing is absolutely unbelievable. You will find a range of pricing as low as $ 29 and I personally haven’t spent over $ 100 on a dress. Sizing is great too — they carry size 0 and up and there is something for everyone. I went here once with my Mom, Sister and daughter and we all found the perfect dresses and we all have different taste and sizes.
This is the best store if you need a special dress for a wedding, bar mitzvah, cruise party, holiday party, etc. I schleped from the Bay Area to go here on a Saturday afternoon and came home with 6 dresses, 3 leggings and all under $ 300. Totally amazing. Marge has phenomenal service. She can take a look at you and recommend dresses that she thinks will look good. She has spent hours with me and my family finding dresses and staying open late as we all tried on everything. I will easily spend up to $ 300 on one dress at a retail store so the pricing here is amazing. You will find all kinds of sizes, colors, styles and the quality is absolutely the best. You won’t be disappointed and it is well worth a trip from anywhere in CA to find the perfect dress.

WIth the Christmas Season approaching time for the Annual Party. This can be a stressful time to find the perfect dress, I knew it wouldn’t be for me with Napadashery as my only solution. Over the years I have came here for all my special occasion dress needs. Every visit has been a pleasant experience. I am not a shopper and I hate malls, so Napadashery is my perfect fit. I send everyone I know here when they are in need of that special dress. Marge and her staff are always so helpful in finding what will look best I you and meet your needs.

I haven’t shopped here in quite a while but my best friend (who’s a single parent) her 9yr old daughter was diagnosed with cancer and we decided to have a fundraiser garage sale to help with basic living expenses. We were in desperate need for some clothing racks, and Marge was so kind to help us out!!! Her generosity has touched me and it’s great to see the local businesses in Fairfield pull together for a wonderful family in need.

I have heard of this dress shop for years, all good things the prices and selection.
My daughter got married 9÷7÷13
so I took my 83 year old Mom to look for a dress
(my folks live in the Bay Area) on a Tuesday the only day our clerk works there SHE WAS WONDERFUL with my Mom & even walked us around the corner to a Nail Shop the «alteration» place which was odd, my Mother in her day was a very good seamstress ! Normally when a long dress is shortened your places on a pedestal !! Humm that didn’t happen & there was also a very simple bust alteration. We picked up the dress on Tues. the Destination Wedding on the coast Saturday not enough time to have it fixed ! My poor Mother was so disappointed as this was her 1^st granddaughter to marry !! And she loved the dress ! But felt so disappointed she didn’t even tell me as to not add to an already stressful time !
Also she felt since she and my Dad don’t go out like they used to when they were younger !!! When would she ever have another opportunity to wear this lovely dress, $ 80. For the dress & $ 45. Alterations !!!
So I brought the dress back to the SHOP I WAS TOLD that the only thing that could happen was another free alteration, I believe I was dealing with the owner, she wouldn’t budge !! POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, she never offered a discount on any future purchases, store credit, etc. !!! SHE DIDN’T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT MY PRECIOUS MOTHER’S ORDEAL AT ALL !!! Just a free alteration, which NO WAY WE WILL HAVE SOMEONE COMPETENT & pay !! To have it done right !! I was so angry I spurted out «I GUESS MY MOM CAN WEAR IT IN HER COFIN»
I would never recommend this to anyone ever based on how the owner handled me with NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL

My daughter had found this wonderful dress shop while looking for bridesmaids dresses, she also found her future mother in law a beautiful dress on sale for $ 40.00
So today I took my mom and we both found what we were looking for I found a beautiful mother of the bride dress at half of what macys or davids bridel would of been and my mom found a gorgous formal top to wear to my daughters wedding. Marge was awsome she was so much help and dont worry when you ask how a dress looks she will tell you the truth and not in a rude way she was great. and the quality of the dresses are outstanding the same designer names that you can get at high end stores also they have all sizes from small to plus sizes. We will defenatly be back.

I made one stop to look for my Mother of the Groom dress. I was referred to Napadashery and was some what skeptical when I walked in. With the help of the owner I found the dress for the wedding and was on my way home in less than an hour! Not only was she helping me but she had 4 other customers and all were very pleased. Great place to look for that special occasion dress! I picked out 3 dresses and the owner picked out one for me that was the perfect dress.

My mom learned about this store from ladies in her church circle. Have you ever been to a Baptist church and the older ladies weren’t decked out in the finest apparel??? No, probably not! LOL!
I was worried that the clothing may be too old for me but I was incorrect. Napadashery has clothes for young and old. I found a beautiful sleeveless dress in my favorite color green. It was both feminine and dressy and I felt absolutely beautiful.
In addition, there are shoes in the back room of the store. There are many styles and sizes although one pair I fell in love with did not have my size. Damn these size 10 feet!!! Ugh! Otherwise, this store is great.
The manager is a bit too talkative and frenzied but all in all she is pretty friendly! My mom and I had a great time shopping!
The only negative is that I had to pay twice on two different credit card machines; one machine for clothing and one machine for shoes. I did not like that at all. Word to the owner, invest in a small business pacakge like QuickBooks to alleviate that problem.

Still a big fan. This was the first place I visited when I found out the day before the Travis Annual Awards ceremony that the planning committee decided last minute to include the Key Spouse of the Year award. They did not disappoint! The selection is perfect for formal military events since most of the gowns have straps or sleeves. I left with a gorgeous red gown (I’ve always wanted to wear red AND it’s the unofficial Key Spouse color) that was flattering and overall just perfect. Thanks, Napadashery!

I’m getting married this August and accompanied my mom to look for her dress. Marge can take one look at a woman and come up with several flattering options for her. I was amazed.
Her stock is new and exciting, and best of all, affordable. We looked at David’s Bridal, Macy’s and several other places and were shocked at how expensive things were. Napadashery’s prices seem almost too good to be true, but they are.
I also left with a dress for my rehearsal dinner. I spotted it and loved it, and it was on sale. Marge and the other ladies gave me honest feedback on the dress and the fit. The alterations — both a hemming and strap-​shortening — were only $ 16!
Be aware: Marge will tell you the truth! If you’re sensitive or can’t handle honest opinions, go to Macy’s and go it alone. This place is designed to be in-​your-​face helpful, which many women looking for something beautiful will appreciate.

Marge is a true possessional. She doesn’t BS and beat around the bush. you can tell shes been doing what she does for over 45 years! My mother is a skeptical when it comes to shopping especially for dresses. Marge made my mother look great and knew exactly what color and what style would be flattering for her shape. I would travel to Fairfield ANY day for genuine service like we had received on Thursday. Great selection on Party/​cocktail dresses and summer dresses and lots of shoes!

So future my Mother-​In-​Law was in dire need of a dress for the wedding and couldn’t seem to find a decent dress that didn’t either make her look like an old lady or end up breaking an arm and a leg over the price tag at other places…
Until Napadashery! Referred by my seamstress, this place has the perfect dress she had in mind, without breaking the bank! The lady that helped her was awesome, giving her a few advice on what color shoes to wear, alterations, etc. She even threw in a free pashmina since she mentioned Unilocal (she didn’t like the free earrings). All in all, she was very pleased with the experience.

Love this store! It’s funky, and so you might not get what you originally had im mind, but you will leave feeling sexy with shoes to match. I just wish I had more nights out to wear the selection of dresses they have to offer. Oh, and the best part — pashminas 4 for 25 $. I’m always cold and now I have one to go with everything I own!

I’m getting married in 2 weeks and due to some unfortunate miss-​communication, my dress might not be ready in time. I need a plan B dress stat!
I was referred to this place by my future Mother-​In-​Law (LOVE HER! No, seriously. I do. I LOVE my Mother-​In-​Law). She just picked up her dress for the wedding and was very pleased with her experience. I called ahead and drove right over.
I was able to purchase a beautiful Ivory Art Deco inspired dress that fit the theme I had with my original dress. The dress cost me $ 99. NOT BAD.
Heads up though ladies:
1) The shop is not what I would call modern or trendy by any means. Most of what they carry is more appropriate for mothers or church on Sunday. Lots of pastel skirt/​pant suits and big hats. The latest dress they had and were SOOO excited to show me was frumpy and looked dated. I think I offended them when I wasn’t as enthusiastic about it as they were.
2) The owner Margie made sure to mention to me SEVERAL times that I needed a dress that would «hide» things. I have curves and my fiancé loves my body so I’m not trying to hide anything. She had brought me a bunch of size 12 dresses and I asked for size 10s instead and she gave me a look like «you can’t fit in a size 10».
3) I had brought my fabulously decadent RED Charles David slippers because they were the inspiration for my entire wedding from my dress to the décor. When I showed them to Margie and told her that the dress has to suite the shoes, she couldn’t believe it. «WHY!» she said. «ALL BECAUSE OF THE SHOES?!» (wrinkled forehead, puzzled look on face, head mildly shaking from side to side).
I guess some girls are all about the shoes.
For the record, all the size 10 dresses fit me just fine. The one I bought is a size 12 but only to accommodate my DD bust. I will have the rest taken in. Sorry to disappoint you Margie.
If I wasn’t so desperate for a plan B dress and the price wasn’t so reasonable, I would have given them only 2 stars but they did save the day after all and that deserves a star in my book.
