You should be able to rely on someone that is the custodian of your insurance portfolio. You should trust them. You should confide in them and work with them to solve issues and address your questions or concerns. You don’t want surprises. You don’t want the claims adjuster to tell you that you’re not covered; that your deductible is higher than you thought.

I believe you sometimes need an advocate.

You should have someone to advocate for you in the insurance world. The world of insurance is not black and white as you think. You need someone to guide you and to advocate for the best policy, the best coverage and the best price. Someone who will guide you through the claims process.

I have been an insurance professional now for 25 years — hard to believe, but it is a testament of how time flies when you are having fun! As a Certified Insurance Counselor I am versed in the trade of insurance. I will tell you how it is and not make broken promises.

Business Owner

With more than 24 years of experience in the insurance service industry, Alan Czaplicki advises clients on a broad range of insurance products that address the protection needs of families and their loved ones. As an Agency Principal/​Owner of the newly formed Independent Epic Insurance Agency located in Fairport, NY, he focuses on listening to each client because he believes everyone’s insurance needs are unique.

Al graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a BA English/​History. He additionally completed his Certified Insurance Counselors and Associates in Insurance Services designation. Al holds his New York State Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses and Series ⁶⁄₆₃.

Past Awards include Premier Service Agency designation 2010, Chairman’s Award, Regional and Presidents Awards for outstanding service, customer satisfaction, customer retention and profitable business growth.

Al takes pride in his involvement in the community serving on the Perinton Youth Hockey
