If you’re looking for a relaxing, personable environment to get some spa services performed by professionals then I definitely recommend Fusions! I had a day off and some friends from out of town were coming to visit so we decided to have a girl’s spa day. To prepare I was checking sites like Groupon for deals and I did find some, but after looking up the places I saw that they had really bad reviews. Usually I am a cheap ass, but the disappointment of a bad mani/​pedi is just not worth the low price; besides we were looking to be pampered!
Good reviews on Unilocal are what led me to Fusions and my phone call to set things up was a pleasant experience. Katie was very friendly and informative over the phone and in person the day of. There was only one nail tech working, but she was able to double up the mani/pedi’s for my two friends and I went with a badly needed haircut. Inside this place is decorated nicely, is clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are just as great; Sherrie was our nail tech and she did an awesome job pampering my friends and giving them french designs in perfect eye catching summer colors. I am terrible in that I forgot the name of the lady who cut my hair, but she did a really great job fixing the mess from my last haircut elsewhere (never get your hair cut at a teaching salon).
All in all I would definitely come back for any service, the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the prices are a little high for me. The haircut and style plus tip was $ 45 after the $ 10 off for being a new customer. The manicure and mini pedicure plus tip were $ 50 after the $ 10 off for being a new customer. The prices are not bad by any means for the quality services you get; I just will have to make coming here a special treat until I land me a sugar daddy (kidding! Maybe…).
*You’ll need to have cash if you want to leave a tip. I think this practice is a little outdated as not a lot of people carry cash anymore and most are switching to electronic ways to pay ie through phone apps, but it is what it is.

Gratuities paid in CASH are the norm today! Get over it people & put an extra $ 10 in your wallet before you leave home! Be thoughtful toward those whose services you purchase. The same practice is appreciated when you pay for a restaurant meal. ‘Tis 2015

I really wanted to like this place. Fusions is convenient, rather affordable, and the staff is friendly. Now, I can only speak for the shellac nail service; I’m hoping their hair services are better than what I have experienced.
To better explain, my friend and I wanted to get a shellac manicure because we were impressed with our pedicures. Upon leaving, we made an appointment for a gel mani the following weekend. Within one week, more like five days, after getting our shellac manicures, nearly every nail had chipped or had an air bubble between the nail and layer of polish. Since I was told it should last 13 days, I politely called for a repair. The nail tech was professional about this inconvenience, and agreed repaired my the damaged nails for no cost. I appreciated that.
However, within five days of the repair, the same thing happened. More chipping and air bubbles. What a bummer! It’s also important to mention that the same thing happened to my friend within a similar time frame. My gut tells me third time is not a charm.
Overall, I would strongly not recommend Fusions for gel/​shellac manicures. Although the employees were kind, their gel services are insufficient.

My husband and I are from out of town and stumbled on this salon using Unilocal (reviews looked great). So glad this is the one we chose. Marissa and Adrienne took really good care of us. My husband got his first pedi! Marissa did an awesome job on my nails.

I would give ⁵⁄₅ for Kristy who has been cutting/​coloring my hair for the past 10 years, she is great! She always knows what I am asking for, is efficient and does a fantastic job. I would highly recommend her :)
I also had all of my bridesmaids in to get their hair done before my wedding last June. It was overall a good experience although another large party was booked at the same time which made things move a little slower, we were cutting it close near the end. I guess we should have gotten started earlier. The make up is the only thing I would give less than 5 stars. They do a great job and it looks beautiful but it just takes a long time. My trial ran over 2 hours and It was not because I was asking for anything crazy. The day of my wedding was much better but I had a completely different person doing my makeup. Fortunately it turned out really well.
As mentioned in previous reviews, it would be nice to be able to tip with credit card although they do allow you to write a check for cash.

It was one of those days where I just couldn’t take my hair style anymore. If I had to look at myself one more time in the mirror and fuss with it, I’d scream. So, naturally, I had to find a last minute appointment, (and I do mean LAST MINUTE). I think I called every salon within driving distance of my workplace and this was the last place I called. They managed to squeeze me in last minute and I was SOOO glad they did. I know nothing about hair or what’s stylish. I’m not a girly girl by any stretch of the imagination. So, I honestly just told her to do whatever she thought would look good. And she DID. I love my hair cut, it straightens so nicely and it complements me very well. I was given some coupons too! I will definitely be using them. The only downside is that you cant give tips on a card. Luckily, since I was a new customer, they let my do it, but asked me to remember cash should I be back. That can be a bit of an inconvenience, but it’s not an impossible request. I won’t ding the business for that. In other words, go give this place a try if you’re looking for a haircut. You won’t be disappointed. I’ll have to go back with my coupon and give their manicures a try, too!

After a year of bad haircuts it was nice to have someone take time to give me a consultation before cutting & coloring my hair. I like the end result too. We’ll see how things grow out to be the true tell of how great this cut is. Again, I’m w/​Jim P. and wish I could leave my tip on my credit card. It would be easier & I often forget to bring cash. I’ll go back for sure.

I brought my bridesmaids here to have our hair and makeup done. After hearing horror stories from friends in other weddings, I was afraid getting makeup professionally done for an event had the possibility of turning disastrous. Everyone looked stunning. They were so organized and ready to handle our bigger group, everyone’s hair was gorgeous and flattering, and the makeup wasn’t overdone or too dark or anything. They even served us mimosas! Our hair and makeup lasted all throughout the day, and even by the end of the reception after dancing all night, it held up. I would definitely recommend this place to handle your bridal party.

THE UP-​SIDE: I go here because the girl who has been tending to my overgrown melon of a noggin for 10 years works here. This brand new location is clean and the staff is friendly. Best of all, they know how to cut my hair. :-)
THE DOWN-​SIDE: While I’ve had about a zillion and six people explain to me why this makes good sense, this salon does not allow you to include a tip when you pay with credit card. Yes, even though you are forking out a good chunk of change to have them cut your hair, they still insist that all tips must be in cash and separate. This may be great for most folks, but for this ADHD super hero, it provides a constant challenge. I think it’s a pretty poor and shortsighted business practice.
