Mountain Laurel Bed and Breakfast is a mountain home, 20 minutes from Asheville, or Lake Lure or Black Mountain, with three premier rooms all with private baths, and two with Jacuzzis! It sits on a knoll with wrap around views and beautiful decks facing the mountains. All the rooms have King size beds, and two have private decks off the main deck. Included with your price is a gourmet breakfast which is served from a menu. You might have Eggs Benedict with homemade Hollandaise, or French Toast, or Omelets, or Blueberry Pancakes from our own blueberries. Relax on the deck or hike around the 12 acres, or even camp on the property! Mt Laurel is a great place to get away from the work world and chill out and play.

History

Established in 1992.

Mountain Laurel has been serving many tourists and travelers for the last 20 years.

In every season there is much to do. If it is winter, we congregate around the wood stove and have a pot of soup or if there is snow we slide down the back hill. In Spring, the flowers abound and the warm weather takes everyone out on the deck. In summer there is much to do in the nearby areas, swim in Lake Lure, Kayak on the French Broad River, or hike the Blue Rdge. And in the Fall the trees put on their show for spectacular viewing. Over the years and the seasons Mt Laurel has charmed many guests.

Lyssa runs Mt Laurel B and B and will greet you and make your stay memorable. She can give you information about the area, and things to do. She also ran a restaurant for 6 years, and will cook your gourmet breakfast.

She also has listed and sold Real Estate in Asheville for the past 22 years, now works with Keller Williams, and if you are looking to relocate to the mountains she will be glad to help you
