Pinot’s Palette – Allen

This place was fantastic, my group was running late but the owner was so nice and never made us feel rushed! She did a speciality painting for my bridal shower and it was awesome! Can’t wait to go back!

Oh my goodness. This place is so much fun!!! We have been twice now and can’t wait to do another. First of all… I can’t draw! But the instructors are so great going slow and helping. We brought some wine and I found the more I had, the better I could paint. Haha. The owner, Wendy, was there and she was so sweet. If you want a night out with friends, I highly recommend coming here. You will have a blast.

Pinot’s Palette in Fairview is definitely a great idea to hold a private party! It is located in The Village at Fairview, a festive, high-​class outdoor shopping mall. When you turn onto Prairie View, go past the first intersection in the shopping center and Pinot’s is directly on your right.
Came here for a bachelorette party celebration with 8 other people, including the girl of the night; she had picked ‘A Day at the Dunes’ to paint. Lynn was our teacher and Jesse was another on hand painting assistant/​photographer. For this particular painting, we worked on a blank canvas and although I was intimidated (my first experience at a painting party involved pencil tracings), Lynn made painting seem very intuitive and straightforward. Both staff were very helpful throughout the painting session; if we made a mistake or didn’t like how our painting looking, they would help us correct it.
We had another reservation at 8pm somewhere else (our class was 5−7pm) but I never felt pressed for time. We took a break in between to grab some snacks that the bridesmaids had prepared while our painting dried a bit and we had plenty of time to mingle in general. Pinot’s provides utensils, plates, ice bucket, mini-​water bottles, wine glasses, which makes it easier on the bridemaids, and they had good music playing in the background while we painted. They even gave the soon-​to-​be bride a wine glass.

It was my third time at pinot’s palette, but my first time at this location. It is fairly new here, so everything still looks good. The instructor we had was Lory, who had a Master in Art Education or something like that. She was very interactive, and gave easy to follow instructions. At some part, she went a little fast (or I’m slow b/​c of the wine) but she made sure to give us time to catch up. I like this location more than the Mockingbird one, because I felt like the instructors were better.
We painted Whos Night Owls, which happened to be an original from the other instructor/​helper. Apparently, to work here the artists must submit their original paintings.
There were 9 of us and they accommodated our group nicely, so thank you. They also gave me a present since it was my birthday.
We had a great time, even my guy friends who have never done this or thought painting was lame ended up liking it. I highly recommend this place for a b-​day celebration, date night, girls night out, or if you’re looking for something to do.

Went to the Pet Portrait class this afternoon & had a great time! Christine (class instructor & artist) was very encouraging & helpful. Wendy (franchise owner & artist) made the experience fun & relaxing at the same time. Would be great for a family, group of friends or any time you want to let your inner Picaso out! Will definitely be going back.
