Hidden gem in Fall River. We almost didn’t go because it looked small and a bit uninviting from the outside. However, after reading the other reviews we headed in. Small, cozy but clean with a very friendly staff. Waitress was attentive and very sweet. Food came out in a matter of minutes and was fresh and tasty. Prices were very reasonable. You can’t find the same quality and prices at a fast food chain. They also have many gluten free options. Don’t pass up on this charming, local eatery.

One of the best breakfast places in Fall River. They also have the largest gluten free menu in the area if you need it. Service is great and the place is spotless! Keep up the good work and I look forward to coming for a long time.

Good breakfast –service was rude and distracted and we could hear fights between waiter and a cook –wasn’t pleasant experience. also the place itself is extremely small-wouldn’t hurt to expand.

I fear that it happened again. Unilocalers steered me wrong. I don’t even know where to begin. So… we have no idea how long our food took to get to us. We know it was more than 25 minutes because of when we started looking at the clock wondering where our food was. That’s bad when a restaurant only has maybe ten? tables. It’s a tiny place. But clean. Immaculate actually. The interesting thing here is the entirely separate gluten free menu they have. I think that’s the first time I have seen an entire menu dedicated to that. Anyways, the food FINALLY came out. I got a cheese roll, bagel, and home fries. My mother got a broccoli omelet. My cheese roll was greasy and bland, my homefries were greasy and bland, and my bagel was done perfectly. My mother says that her omelet was bland. and when they forgot the toast, true to form it took forever to get it, and it wasn’t toast at all. it was two pieces of bread with butter that wasn’t melting because of the lack of heat this«toast» emitted. I give it three stars for a couple of reasons. the cleanliness and the prices. Those were fantastic. Oh and I forgot about the coffee! Disgusting! It was a crime against coffee! Yuck. Definitely won’t be back.

I’ve driven by this place 2 – 4 times a day for 3+ years, never went in. Today, I picked up some takeaway –Lumberjack– 2 fluffy blueberry pancakes, 2 over easy eggs, bacon and chourico; absolutely fantastic! Place was packed, was greeted by the only waitress(who was busting her butt and doing a great job!), Alice whipping out meals on the grill. I’m taking all my friends to Alice’s from now on. Two Lumberjack meals for under $ 22! You can’t beat that price or the friendly service.

Good food at a reasonable price. Small eating area. Big enough for about 30 people. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive.

This is a small neighborhood hole in the wall breakfast spot with friendly staff and decent food. Nothing fancy. There’s no visible public restroom but there is a dinghy spot that you have to request permission to use behind the«Employees Only» section.

Tiny place. Great prices on kids meals. Good clam strips. Delicious steak and cheese grinder but onions need to be cooked a bit more. Friendly service from Lucy.

Went there for breakfast last week because the reviews were very positive. Nothing special about this diner. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, very bland and the bread was stale. On the upside service was good.

Very good breakfast joint. It’s a small place so don’t expect IHOP. This place is better. I’ve been here twice and have not been disappointed. Everything is good.

Alice’s Diner remains one of my favorite breakfast destinations. Service is great. Portions are hearty. Seasoning /taste is to my liking. The menu has plenty of variety but isn’t overwhelming. Compared with other breakfast places in the area this place is at the top of the list(some are WAY to pretentious without the food quality to back it up, some try too hard, some have too many items on the menu and none are well executed). It is just breakfast! This is a jewel of a hole in the wall that does it PERFECTLY. Ok, maybe I wish they had huevos rancheros on the menu…

I never write Unilocal reviews but I felt as though it was necessary for Alice’s! They were extremely nice and so welcoming. They are also extremely knowledgeable and passionate about gluten free eating. I was absolutely astounded by the amount of gluten free items on their menu. Everything you could dream of from gluten free crepes to homemade malasadas and different types of bread products. Absolutely loved my experience and will definitely be back again!

Still a great find. We came here over a year ago from 40 miles away. The picture if the menu was taken by me. Prices are still the same. My wife is GF and had fish n chips for the first time in 8 years. My good was great too.

Another marvelous holes the wall. It looks like store front diners did back in the 60’s, with handyman special quality work, tiny eating area packed with locals, duct tape on the through wall air conditioner, and a commercial ceiling mount heater peeking through a framed opening in the wall carrying heat from the kitchen into the eating area. Old pop music playing on a small radio… Colorful patrons and family atmosphere make this place worth the effort to check out. The Belgian waffle with berries is wonderful. Steak bomb is flavorful and filling, service is with a smile. Good Stuff — Americana!
