On Stage Academy of Performing Arts was established in 1983 under the direction of Linda Mercer-​Botelho.

Meet the Business Owner

Linda B.

Business Owner

Founder and director of On Stage for the past 31 years, Linda attended the Boston Conservatory of Music, teacher training program for Dance. She also studied in New York at the Broadway Dance Center with world re-​known Jazz teachers Charles Kelly, Frank J. Hatchet, and Phil Black. She is a graduate of the Robert Christopher teacher training seminars and the American Ballet Academy’s teachers intensive held at Vassar College. After attending a certification program at the Alvin Ailey school Linda is now certified in the «Leap and Learn» Technique for teaching young children ages 2 – 12. Linda continues to attend Teacher Conferences, gaining valuable insight into the continually changing world of dance education for children. Linda is the director of all programs at On Stage including their performance Company and Competition Team.
